Awesome venue for a concert. Traffic leaving totally sucks.
This is absolutely ridiculous! We buy tickets, flights and hotels months in advance and you can't make sure you can accommodate the bands!?!? It's not like you didn't know they were going to be here! I will never book another show here! We were told the show was cancelled mere hours before the show so we couldn't even cancel the rooms we had or make adjustments.... absolutely terrible customer service and completely inconsiderate venue!!
First time here, wow I can't believe it took me so long. Loved it, even on the lawn it was great.
Beautiful location, especially at sunset. Kind of difficult to see the performers from the lawn section though. Great atmosphere once the sun set and the main act began!
It was a great experience!! Seats or box seats is a thrilling wonderful time. Lawn is another story but a crazy fun experience nontheless... Get your grub and drank on! It's amusement prices so prep that wallet! Go the whole season!!
This theater is by far my favorite in the Bay Area! I love the lawn seating because there s tons of room to relax, you re close to the bathrooms, and exiting is easier. Parking is typically included in your ticket, they have employees that will guide you and help you park, and there s probably about 20-30 handicap parking spaces near the front.
We had a nice time. Just confusing parking. And if your ears are sensitive bring ear plugs... It's really loud. Enjoy!!
Experience wonderful as usual, but late in opening venue.
Wonderful place to see a show. Plan to arrive early as it usually takes a while to get into the parking lot.
This place is absolutely fabulous. So much history here from the Grateful Dead to Tupac. Workers here are genuinely nice people and seem to work as a family. Shows are nice and loud and sound really crisp no matter where you sit. There is no lack of bar or food at this venue it's a great spot to take the family. Bathrooms however are a little bit of a hassle, sometimes having to wait 10 minutes just to get in.
Cold, unforgiving lawn during early/late summer. Nicely set up otherwise. Friendly staff
The place itself is great , parking lot not too far , my only complaint will be that they are too over price I been on many venues for many years but this place takes the cake $25 For a glass of beer
I am extremely disappointed with Shoreline and the city of Mountain View. I was supposed to see Doobie Brothers and Santana last night 6/26 and missed the show due to poor traffic control in Mountain View and poor control of the parking lot at Shoreline. I spent 1.5 hours on Amphitheatre parkway only going .4 miles, having missed the whole Doobie Brothers set and about to miss the Santana set. 100's of people were in the same boat and most likely missed the concert as well. This was so upsetting to all. Shoreline should partner with Mountain View to control the traffic to allow for the flow of people to get into the parking lot and in to see the show. This is unacceptable. I will never go see a show at Shoreline again and I missed seeing legends perform in what was reviewed as an incredible show. Both Shoreline and Mountain View should be ashamed of themselves. So many people not being able to see a show and out 100's of dollars.
Shoreline is a pretty awesome venue. Be aware that the traffic to and from can get pretty crazy! I recommend taking a shuttle or rideshare for sure!
The concert was great, the slope on which you enjoy the concert on, is a bit back aching. Nice venue other wise
Really great venue just always gets overwhelming and crowded. Always have to leave events early because if not the traffic cant take over an hour to even exit. Great big venue though lots of history
Wonderful outdoor venue. Sound check was need for opening acts but main show was awesome!
This was the annual 4th of July San Francisco Symphony and fireworks. It's always a wonderful show and the fireworks are fantastic! We always bring a picnic and get there about an hour and a half before the show. It's great for the whole family!
Even lawn seats here are great. It's a beautiful venue but it's always so terribly coordinated for arrivals and departures even with seemingly enough staff. They really need to train better.
Great concert, could have done without the sprinklers lol
Parking was atrocious. We were backed up for miles. All the way onto the freeway. The parking attendants kept sending us different ways only to have us merge back together. At one point, we were in two lines and there was parking spots to the left and right. Instead of using both sides, they made us merge and then only used the left. Ridiculous. After parking, everything else was fine.
Make sure you get a ticket to open grass field, as it s more fun there :)
My favorite place to take in a concert! Well worth the drive from the Sacramento area. It is almost always 20 degrees cooler here with a nice breeze. Great way to beat the heat!
Great venue for music, free parking isn't that terrible, but VIP parking is worth the pricetag. Get a fast pass to avoid the ga entry line.
A seriously awesome amphitheater. It can seat 22500 people!!
Always great but and pretty clean. The navigation and lines to get in were really poorly marked, which made it hard to figure out where to go and which line to get into. Happy with so many drink options and the fact that they had a food truck (better than the typical burger nachos fries available)
Saw jason aldean here its a nice concert area especially with the lawn area. Plenty of inside bars also
Saw Georgia Florida Line and Nelly! First time seeing a concert here. Great venue from the ones I've been to in SF!
Went there for Google I/O. Very natural settings and ample parking. Just a walk away from the Google headquarters. Fun place to be.
Perfect setup. Laid back on the lawn up top to see the Kings of Leon, and I could see and hear everything as if I were right in front of the stage. :)
Great venue! Lots of places for souvenirs and best of all lots of clean bathrooms...not portable ones!
Nice venue but what's up with the cell phone locking? Everyone remember to hide your phone before entering!
Amazing Brad Paisley was awesome he work the crowd really good his music was just unbelievable. I'm handicapped and we were given a ride from our car right to the front gate and they picked us up at the gate. My service dog was allowed to go into the concert. The choices they had at the venue for the food and the drinks was amazing try the fried raviolis. Everyone who worked there, we're friendly and helpful. We had an amazing night. I can't wait to go again. Thank You Shoreline for a memorable experience. Priceless
Great outdoor concert spot, especially when the sun is shining.
Great venue for concerts. Not the best place for geek events though.
We had a wonderful evening listening to our favorite artist under the stars.
Great venue!! Great place to have a concert or event?
Good venue. Great show. Even leaving the parking area was not bad.
I like being at live shows here and its not everyday you can drive by google town and see all the bikes laying around on the way
This is a great setting for summer concerts but getting your car into parking is totally ridiculous, took me 2 hours to go from off ramp to parking! No signs of shuttle or express busses. ...not sure I would come back again.
Park as far away as possible and be prepared to hike it after concerts. (Ladies wear comfortable shoes) The traffic is bad even before the concert ends and the Uber pickup areas are limited and often full of confused people for a LONG time. We were waiting at one Uber designated area while our Uber driver was blocked from the entire street. It was ridiculous and took almost 2 hrs to get home (we live 20 mins away). Otherwise, great venue! We sat in the grass and was fun experience.
Sound was great! Great view of the stage from section 204, left of the stage, in front of the lawn. Traffic was terrible though. It took us an hour to park once we got off the freeway at Amphitheatre parkway. Show started at 8pm on a Thursday too.
Great entertainment ,clean grounds, friendly people and staff, absolutely loved to sit in lawnchairs or whatever on the grass .
Views and the Acoustics were fabulous!
It may have been my first time going by guarantee you it won't be my last.
Don't bother with being a chair or blanket for lawn seating everyone ends up standing. Do bring food and drink. You may have to take a loan out to eat and drink there
Very enjoyable concert. If you have AAA membership, you can use it for Express parking lane.
Great venue, but the food is ridiculously overpriced. Eat before you go to the concert
parking is terrible. went to see panic! at the disco and weezer tonight and wasn't even able to see the show because the parking traffic for the show was all the way backed up on the freeway.
Pay extra for great parking all kinds of food and drinks.
They played ads in between the sets.... Like, ads for beauty products. It was surreal to be blasted with advertising, full audio, and bright lights of the screen yelling about Hugo boss and even a trailer for a movie. Totally killed the vibe of a concert. Oh, and I know that beer is notoriously expensive at concerts, but $16 for a lagunitas is death.
Been enjoying this awesome place for shows for well over 20 yrs.
Lots of bathrooms available and very clean but no vegan food choices and parking is a disaster!
Love coming here for concerts.. Sam Hunt was AWESOME!!
great amphitheatre with great bands coming through all the time. there's a whole "village" of merch shops, restaurants and bars, and different seating levels for the budget conscious, including a general admission lawn. but vantage point from anywhere in the stands is good. the ride through google's campus on the way to parking is a treat, too!
Great venue for shows of any kind hip hop rock or comedy I've seen all there were all amazing
Sun is roasted in back seats they need to do something for this
Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Heart all in one night. Venue is as it should be, with exception of seriously pricey drinks. Good times
It sucked showed up two hours early and took forever to get in missed the first set. That sucks when you pay 180 dollars for a ticket. And it makes the artist look bad for choosing a venue that can't get it together. That seemed to be the consensus of all the people i heard while standing in line.
It was my first time at Shoreline Amphitheatre. I went to see the Doobie Bros. and Carlos Santana. We sat in the lawn area. We brought a blanket and rented two chairs at $10 each. They only allow small low to the ground chairs. We were so far away that we couldn t see the band members and the large screen barely did close ups of the band. They also took my super tiny sewing scissors. However, We could ve seen anything because people just gathered and stood right in front of us who were seated. They were smoking weed or who knows what and drinking beer or liquor. The entire area was like a smoke room. The screen was blurry. There was no announcement in the beginning. The band just randomly started playing and then only after a few songs the members would introduce themselves. There should ve been a host to introduce the bands especially since they were both legendary bands in their own right. The parking lot was also very far away. I was highly disappointed!
