I will no longer purchase cosmetics from Shoppers! The RBC location refused to provide a sample indicating they don't make any money on them [+ the cosmetician I dealt with was very strange and should not be working in customer service]. The Eaton's location said they had no samples without checking?!? So, what does Shopper's do with all the samples they receive from cosmetic companies??

DO NOT use their pharmacy. Was polite with them asking about my prescription but they were rude for no reason. Waited around half hour for NY prescription before being told what they had was expired! Never had this kind of experience before. Never using this pharmacy again.

What is the point of lining up in line for the Canada post station if they will just rush you off and then make you line up again. Like every customer has value and should be treated as such. They don't have any customer service skills and should be trained to get some.

I absolutely love this location, the staff are super friendly and they go the extra mile. The front manager named Kris always goes above and beyond to help me locate anything I need, he is the sweetest guy I have ever met, he always smiles and tries his hardest to resolve any matter put forward to him. For instance today I needed help to get several items and he was really helpful even though he was busy, kudos to him and the entire staff!!!!!

Worst Service ever!

Worst Service ever!

I previously filled a higher dosage allergy medication here. I wanted to refill the prescription because my tree pollen allergies are so bad! I asked the girl on the phone to call the doctors office to fill my prescription. She did not call me back for an hour. I call the doctor's office to ask if she was in. She wasn't but this Pharmacy girl cannot even call you back to let you know! Then I head to another walk in and waited an hour and a half to see a doctor to get the prescription. She told me I could have just bought reactine and taken a double dosage. I did not even know that and thought it was a specific allergy medication. This girl really messed up my only day off this week. She couldn't have said anything over the phone?! Your lack of customer service should not get you a career in Pharmacy, your career should be of incompetence! Seriously fire her please!

Horrible. You are a Shoppers Drug Mart you should carry everything a normal pharmacy would carry, like i don' t know bladder pads. Have a cold section with some foods in it. I mean you are SUPER close to the hospitals and you carry NOTHING that would help someone who is in long term at all. Not only that but your prices are almost double anywhere else. Get it together man. Horrible location

The pharmacist who was working on a weekend; white, dark hair, wore glasses was rude. I'm a bit hard of hearing and I said "pardon, can you repeat that?" and her responce had a really condescending tone through voice and body language.
I will not refill anymore medications here for that reason.

Just met a dump stuff, didnt care about I wanted to use the coupon on the app to collect points, when I asked him if my order has reached the min purchase requirement, he didn't understand and just said I m doing good with points and read me the point balance. Later on I found my order is 74.99, 1cent from getting my points. He simply didn't care to clarify. Other store staffs are more caring about customer experience. I didn't even return the purchase, but felt the service is really NOT satisfactory

The shoppers itself is crowded but I go to the beauty boutique to browse sometimes. The staff there don't approach you but they must have thousands of people coming in not buying & touching everything so I can understand but I actually needed something and help so I approached someone and asked for a concealer, she was very pleasant and refreshing to speak to, her name was Nadia. I was led to what seemed to be the expert makeup/skin care director and walked away with concealer, serum and primer. He really fine tuned my current skincare routine and added in what I was missing and advised me to take out what I didn't need.
I'm all about good quality skincare so it was nice to build up on products and he was not pushy and was VERY knowledgeable. I also got a free gorgeous sleeping mask & makeup bag which was a beauty promo they had going on which was a bonus!
I'm confident I'll have better makeup application and skin because of his knowledge he's shared with me. Thank you! I wish I remembered his name but I'll be back there 100%!!!!

Walked into the beauty section to see four workers standing behind the cash, they all turned to look at me and then went back to talking amongst themselves. Wasn't until I asked for help at one of the luxury brands I finally was talked to. Told the worker exactly what I had came in for, and it took her about half an hour to get it for me, after going back and forth talking to me about the wrong product. Only convenience is it's at the Eaton Centre. Awful customer service.

I used to come to this shoppers to fill prescriptions because it was close to my doctors office but yesterday was the last time!
The pharmacists were so rude and unprofessional, one of them was extremely short with me when asking what I needed then while waiting I saw her being rude and snappy to other customers and running around the place like a chicken with her head cut off. This isn t the first time I ve seen the pharmacists being rude to customers, but the final straw was when she called my name to give me my prescription I had planned on paying for other items at the counter and she threw my bag there and said here ya go I showed her the stuff in my hand and was mid way through telling her I wanted to pay for these and she said what?!? I said never mind I ll pay for them up there and she responded by saying she didn t hear me because of her head cold. (Maybe she would have heard me if she wasn t in a rush and cut me off mid sentence).
This behaviour is beyond rude and unprofessional exactly the opposite of what I d expect from a pharmacist (not to mention she didn t ask me if i needed explanation for it) I will not be coming back here.

Kind of incompetent staff in the pharmacy :/ the pharmacist was very professional and apologized but the woman who took my prescription spelled my name incorrectly and got my insurance information wrong so of course it didn t go through and she said she would call me when it was ready in 15 minutes. The time came and went and I didn t want to be a bother so I didn t come until he half hour mark at which point I got the pharmacist who corrected the situation. If she had told me that it would be a while, I would not have minded a bit, I would have gone back to work and come back at 5 but because she said it would be just 15 minutes, I waited around for the call. I would rather you just tell me to come back in a few hours than tell me that you ll call and then never do it.

Like it s fine, I m still coming back but really please enter information correctly. What if it had been my prescription that she entered incorrectly? Doesn t bode well. Look at my first name. It is not hard to spell.

Also if you say you re going to call, CALL.

I wish I read the reviews of this location! I went to buy my kid a PRESTO card, as I was in the Eaton Centre already. BIG MISTAKE!

When I purchased the card, I put some cash on it as well. I showed the cashier my son's ID and thought all is good. Got home to activate the PRESTO online account and the Shopper's Drug Mart cashier screwed up the fare type (STUDENT) expiry date. My son's fare type expires in December of 2020? How is that possible...cashier inputs WRONG DOB or something? He is a student and still has 6 years until he pays an adult fare!

Long story short, I have to go to another Shopper's and re-verify DOB in person so he doesn't get charged an adult fare. What a joke and waste of time...meh.

Left the store in tears. Wish there was a negative star rating. I entered this boutique with my friend, and was instantly scanned up and down by several cosmeticians, with no acknowledgement by any of them. Two stood behind the cosmetic counter chatting and staring at my friend and I while glaring. I went to the St Tropez section and picked up two bottles, each priced at $56. Immediately after they realized I wasn t poor, I was bombarded by the skincare demo lady, READY TO CHECK OUT? She said inches from my face. I was completely taken off guard, as I had been in the store for less then a minute. No, not yet. I continued on in the store with my friend as she was looking for certain products as well. I ll take those to the front. Another cosmetician said seconds after the first. No thank you. I said, as I decided I didn t want to deal with their snotty glares anymore. Check out with us. She added walking away. My friend was very uncomfortable, so we decided to continue our shopping in the regular sections of the store. I grabbed a third bottle of St Tropez on my way, as my store doesn t carry this particular one. The second my foot touched the other side of the store, an ignorant red head stormed up yelling, EXCUSE ME, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE BOUTIQUE WITHOUT BUYING YOUR THINGS HERE. I was absolutely disgusted and enraged that she would have the nerve to speak to me like that. I work at shoppers as a cosmetician myself and would NEVER treat a human being the way she did. I know exactly why they were suddenly so interested in my presence and that was them making commission off my products. Absolutely not. The red head called the manager to follow me and my friend around the store. I checked out at the front, where the cashier was equally as ignorant once she found out I was staff. She incorrectly rung through my products and refused to take responsibility for her error, studying my ID several times. I felt like a criminal. I may be an employee in ANOTHER CITY, but I was just a casual shopper that day. I approached the male manger at the end and spoke to him, because I could hear the red head loudly talking badly about me. Very kind manger, and he took me to the back to speak to the cosmetic manager. She was extremely apologetic and extremely sweet and understanding. I feel awful that this is the staff she has, she clearly deserves better. I would NOT recommend stepping foot into this store unless you are dealing solely with the cosmetic manager.

Good drugstore for everything you need! Shoppers Drug Mart is located right in the Eaton Center. Here you get everything you need. The cosmetics department in particular is designed very generously. There is also a pharmacy in the market itself. All in all a very good all-rounder. It's best to have a look yourself.

Disappointing attitude to false advertising. My friend and I purchased Crest toothpaste, and only after purchasing it we realised we d been charged double the price it was advertised for in the store. When we went back to get this corrected we took on a polite and friendly attitude as there was no need to be difficult. Unfortunately we were met with a rude and barely cooperative staff member who also suggested that it was us who were making false claims. We had the products and the receipt - and all she had to do was confirm it, however instead she chose to treat us like we were cheating her. In the end, as if to be additionally difficult - most of the refund was handed to us in 5-10 cent coins. It was incredibly disappointing to see this attitude, especially considering the circumstances were in relation to the Competition Act. I do not understand why she would choose to behave this way.

I came in on Friday 27th at around 8 and this lady at the beauty boutique was working. The lady was short and had long black hair.I didn t catch her name. I approached her asking her a simple question if they have a a certain item. This lady gave me an attitude and spoke to me in a way that was very unprofessional. I m also a staff at a shoppers location and having to see this is unacceptable. I will never buy anything from this shoppers again

The woman with pink hair at the pharmacy is extremely rude. Her whole demeanor is basically conveying what the f&$@ do you want . I was completely polite and just trying to fill a prescription and this woman was just a condescending , eye rolling horrible person. She should not be the face of that pharmacy that s for sure. Stick her in the back somewhere that she doesn t have to interact with people. Really upsetting interactions with her.

Saturday September 14th a lovely lady named Jackie assisted me at the cosmetic counter. EXCEPTIONAL customer service. She followed up on an issue regarding my Optimum points and promptly requested the assistance of the manager on duty. I regret it took me so long to write a review. Thanks to her superb service I got my bonus points and made my shopping experience at this location a memorable one

Will not go to this shoppers anymore. The girls at the beauty boutique work solely for the money. They don't care what you need, when I show no interest to the products they STRONGLY recommended, they walked away immediately, horrible service. Don't they get paid ? And it's not just one girl, seems like the culture in that store...The shoppers at Bay-Adelaide centre is much better

I'm from Kitchener but was in Toronto for a weekend recently. My doctor from Kitchener called me while I was away to advise me that he had reviewed some test results of mine and that I needed a prescription filled on an emergency basis because of a serious medical condition that had popped up for me. His assistant faxed the prescription to the Shopper's Drug Mart at the Eaton Centre because it was closest to my hotel.

I went there with some trepidation because I had read some poor reviews on here and because my condition was pretty serious. But then I met Insun. This wonderful lady was the Pharmacist or Pharm Tech; I'm not sure which. At first noone could find the faxed prescription but Insun remembered seeing a prescription for the particular medication I needed and found it. Turned out there was a spelling mistake of my name and this was why it couldn't be found.

Then we ran into a problem with our drug plan and whether or not they would cover this medication. Insun took it upon herself to call the insurer personally and get the matter settled in our favour.

I didn't get the name of her colleague who helped her but she was every bit as helpful. Insun was professional, polite, pleasant, and understanding. She's a wonderful person to deal with and I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone! This was a very, very good experience on what was a very difficult day. Thank you, Insun!

I don't usually writes reviews. But my experience at this shoppers was really unpleasant. I went in the change my presto card from adult to student. Because it automatically changed from student to adult, I'm not sure why but I didn't question it or ask for a refund on all the times it charged me adult fee.
When I went to the cashier and asked to change it. I asked politely and didn't ask for a refund or anything. To my surprise she lectures me on buying an adult presto. When I politely explained to her it was a student presto it just changed suddenly. She ignored my claim and continued to comment on it. I just didn't think it was professional or polite for her to make such a unkind comment.

Abysmal customer service... if you would even call it that. Filled up my Presto card with Sheila and was immediately greeted with attitude. Wanted to be in and out but it took her around 3-4 minutes to actually complete said process. Had to repeat that I wanted X amount on the card several times. Very slow. Left unsatisfied due to the condescending service.

The pharmacy was useless! I went today to get a prescription moved from a location in Quebec to this one. The girl behind the counter refused because she didn't speak french... I don't know what kind of excuse this was. Once someone else working there clarified that she could do it, she called and barely tried to resolve an issue that she encountered, and when I asked to try to fix it, she complained that she would have to make another phone call. I don't understand how the person who is supposed to take care of your medication could care so LITTLE. I was very disappointed and will not be going back for this reason.
