Shoes-N-Feet Review

I came in looking for running shoes, to my disappointment the salesperson was on an agenda of his own. I have fit shoes for 4 years and know what a good fit is, he tried to convince me that I need a ton of extra room in the toebox.

I don't care what this guy says, it's important to have a secure fit around the metatarsals. There is a fine line between having too much pressure along a potential bunion and supporting your metatarsals not to create unnecessary friction causing blisters during long runs. Unfortunately the sales person did not know that line, nor did he listen to my feedback regarding the fit and he lost a sale.

Also what concerns me about this store is how they make alterations to shoes. This can be very dangerous, because if you have musculoskeletal issues often times it can be corrected through PT/Stretching or Surgery. Making alterations to orthotics or shoes should be done with advanced technology..not with someone who has their own theories without credentials. Steer clear from the place if you want sound fitting advice. I apologize if this was just a bad apple and there are other good fit specialists who work here, but experience was bad enough that I will not give this place another try.

I got some shoes for my feet. Now i just gotta remember where I left my feet.

I have to admit I am a difficult customer with extreme pain and numerous foot and joint problems. I have always had difficulty finding shoes that fit, so shoe shopping is so totally miserable for me that I have very few shoes, and I was down to one pair of sad, ten year old sneakers that were falling apart, and a couple of other pairs of shoes that hurt too much to wear. Cue the Manager, Joshua, who came to my rescue. He instantly understand what I needed, even just over the phone. When I arrived he was on lunch so I spent 20 minutes trying to work with the owner, but we gave up. Then, Joshua arrived so we were able to resume finding me the best shoes. I was shocked that we were very quickly (in ten minutes) able to find two pairs of shoes that fit nicely, were comfortable, and that I am able to walk in without too much pain. Joshua is a real asset to the company, with excellent customer service skills, an ability to listen and quickly know what the customer needs and wants, even if they are complicated problems. He's very gentle with your feet, always smiling, always compassionate. A good heart combined with solid knowledge about foot problems; Joshua is this shop's Ace in the Hole. I don't like to over-review but Joshua may have saved my life. I have been unable to walk much due to various factors and it started to affect my health. Now I can start to walk again!
I like their business model too. The owner knows a great deal about foot disorders, and is good at educating his staff, whilst running the business behind the scenes, and the staff upfront have the customer service skills to take care of the clients' needs.

My physical therapist sent me there and I have not been disappointed. Putting their soles in all my shoes has made walking pain-free again. They have a good selection of sports and dress shoes - emphasis comfort without neglecting look. Vivian helped me. She took the time to show me all options. She was great on sizing my feet with their share of odd spots and steering me towards the best options .

Went into today to get a new pair of shoes to weight-train in. The lady who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable, and I got a great pair of shoes for only $80. This was the fourth store I had been to today but Im glad I made the trek over there!

I had a great experience here. I stopped by to buy shoes that were going to minimize my foot pain (plantar facitieas). Kari helped me pick out some everday sneakers that I could use for walking and elliptical (Hoka One One) and a pair of shoes that I could pair with slacks and skirts. I saw more options than I expected and I don't feel like I'm wearing old people shoes.

I am going for long walks and trail walking lately. I am covered with few good trail shoes from REI but I couldn't get good walking shoes as I tried Merell, Nike, and Asics types. Finally, my feet doctor recommended this store. I walked in and Chris who is owner greeted me and explained me various options. He is extremely knowledgeable and brought 3 different options to choose from. Frankly, all were good but I selected one pair and walked out happy customers to walk and walk further. Mi am going to keep going there for future needs. I want to be careful as I age and need good protection and stability. Thank you for great service and help.

Went to buy athletic shoes, sandals. Picked out shoes, sandals. Upon getting to the register, clerk turns to co-worker, says "She's buying men's shoes". My best friend of 20+ years and I, want to know who's business is it? My husband and I are retired. I save money any way I can. I'm thinking my money will be better spent elsewhere!!

This Shoe Store has the best Shoes and Service I have ever found. The staff is very knowledgeable and takes the time to fit you into the right shoe for you.
I am so impressed with the level of service I will keep coming back for my shoes here.

My feet are a real pain in the foot. However the people here know what they're doing and care about their customers. This is the first place that has me in a shoe that doesn't hurt! They even have referrals to podiatrists if you're looking for one.

Great service, the lady was very helpful & experienced, she took my needs into great consideration & I am now the proud owner of a terrific pair of running shoes!

Love this place. They really make taking care of your feet an art form. Incredibly helpful staff... reasonably priced - worth every penny based on the level of service.

Went there with high expectation learning from the store's website. The first they were not helpful and the second they tried to argue with me. I left there and went to REI which was helpful to address shoes/feet issue.

Read about the awesome service and expertise of the staff at this store and travelled 50 miles to come get some superior help. While we were helped right away, the young man who helped us clearly did not know much about options that would be best for my husband's feet. I was super disappointed to have come all this way and got just ho-hum service. We will not return. They do have many options for shoe insole
supports though.

Wonderful experience visiting this store. I never met a sales person that has great knowledge on shoes. It was great talking to Summer here. She does a thorough job. Learnt a lot of technical details about shoes and feet in general. I wish I had my size, but would love to visit this place again.

I ordered a pair of New Balance 575's through the store, since they told me the shoe was being discontinued in my size (10-4E). I asked for the discount as shown in a local coupon book, and Chris Bentvelzen (the owner) flatly said no, that we had to have the physical coupon in hand, and refused even when I said the coupon book's name & also that the discount was available from their own website. The store called 8 days later, saying the shoe had arrived, and that I had 1 week to return. When I returned 5 days later (forgetting the receipt this time), nobody could locate the shoe on the special order shelf, nor would they refund my purchase without the physical receipt. In this day & age of websites, customer-tracking databases, and storing personal & credit-card info, you'd think the store could be nice enough to honor discounts or refund purchases without a physical slip of paper. Only later did I learn the store would've sold me the discontinued shoe instead of New Balance's 575v2, widely available all over the web at similar or lower prices. No point in returning back to this ripoff artist.

This is the only place I go to for my shoes. My foot doctor recommended them along time ago and I've been going ever since. I can always count on a knowledgeable staff to help me get a great fit. They have a good selection of great well made shoes. Pat Seidler

They put your shoes on for you. They knew about stability, space in the toe box, and cushion. Have both athletic and more fashionable comfort shoes. 30 day return policy, can wear around on concrete on sunny day and return. The person who helped me was lovely - don't know her name. Good vibes. Idk why I'm writing a review for a place, I never do this.

Great service - my doctor recommended them to me and they were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and worked with me to find both shoes I found comfortable and to make sure my feet got the arch support they needed.

This place has the most comfortable shoes and quality socks you will ever find. Their prices are exactly what you would pay if you go to Amazon however these guys have excellent service and they know what they're talking about.
If you are tired of having sore feet after walking or running then go to shoes and feet. I used to buy shoes the cheap places and what I got for my money was incredibly sore feet but not anymore. The owner is from a family that has been in the shoe business for many many years it's like old-school meets new school with customer service, shoe technology , and shoe customizations for maximum comfort.
Don't go cheap on your shoes!
