I hate this school I have to go here every day I was transferred from Wilson if I would have known I wouldn t have switched and the teachers are so so if you are planning to send your kids here don t it s verry bad go to Wilson instead
Enrolling my child here was the biggest mistake I have ever made, we had the worst experience with his teacher at Sheridan elementary. The entire school year he was bullied and beaten up by fellow class mates, several times I contacted his teacher about it and she would always use the same excuse "he hurt himself at recess" how ever my child would say "so and so pushed me and punched me or kicked me" I am a Brazilian jiujitsu instructor for kids andmy child knows how to defend himself but would tell me "but my teacher says we arent suppose to hit others" not once did I get an email or phone call about other kids hiring my son but he would come home with bruises and marks I finally told my son you need to defend yourself if they hit you hit them back, sure enough the next day I get a phone call about my son being a bully and beating up another student was called to a meeting with his teacher and a counselor the teacher tried to make it seem like "oh it was all him he just started beating another kid up for no reason" when in reality it wasnt like that I had them bring him in and speak about the situation and the entire time she tried to get him to say what she wanted him to so I told him "look at me dont worry about them tell me exactly what happened" after him saying his side of the story she said no that's not true he is lying so watching the video we saw that my child was saying the truth, as a plus his teacher wasnt even in the recess area, he wasnt the only one getting bullied and mistreated there are many but his teacher wouldn't do anything about it the school tried to excuse her saying that she was probably in a meeting of that's the case then why is she in this meeting and opening her mouth. I know the saying about messing with the bear Cubs then you gotta deal with the momma bear but in this case mess with my Cubs then you gotta deal with papa bear. Not all teachers are bad but this school needs to train their teachers to be teachers.
