Sheraton Vistana Villages Review

great resort, we travel quite extensively and love staying at SPG/Marriott Resorts.

We stayed in building 24 in a one bedroom villa and enjoyed the space. The pools are very nice.

We got locked out of our room and the lock broke so we have been waiting outside for an hour after complaining

Large facilities and very good maintenance. The staff very attentive and the rooms clean and in good condition.

It was very nice, made me feel as if I were home. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The wifi ran smoothly, the view is great. The service is exquiste and detailed.

Room was fine, pressured to do timeshare presentation though. Our first room smelt bad but changing was not an issue. Room was satisfactory but nothing more than that.

Love this place. Bed is wonderfully kush. Was worried it wouldn't be as I have a bad back. Nice to have a kitchen and washer and dryer too.

This review is for the marketplace food at Sheraton vistana. The service was horrible and the chicken sandwich they served is literally two soggy chicken tenders on bread with some hot sauce likely franks red hot. They charge 10.99 for this - it s pretty brutal and surprised this can represent the Sheraton brand ! I wouldn t buy food from here again. The actual hotel and pool however etc is really nice . Just extremely disappointed with the food on site !

Great vacation timeshare resort, good food, lots pools and fun activity for all ages

Beds are comfortable, and it's a nice central location if you are in town for Disney, Universal, and the extensive shopping. The main pool is huge and a lot of fun, but parking near your building is a bit of a challenge until most of the guests leave to go to the parks.

Location, Location, Location!!! No pressure to purchase on site, very hospitable. Close to all Amusement Parks.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. The room smelt of fish, the shower head fell on my sister, and the dryer left a stain (looked dark brown like rust) on some of our clothes. The pool was wonderful and clean, the restaurant food was great, the server was even better and super friendly. We are owners, but we were charged a cleaning fee (which has since been refunded). Over all, there are kinks here and there that need improvement.

Employees were extremely helpful, and understanding. Parking was a bit tricky.

Nice rooms and kind staff. Better to have a room close to ammenities or travel is a pain. Sometimes we asked for a shuttle, waited a super long time, called to ask where the shuttle was and found out our call was not put in.

Do not be fooled stay somewhere else! The resort is a run-down timeshare village with villa style apartments. Hours had a foul odor in the kitchen. Several burnt out light bulbs. A broken ceiling fan and to jacuzzi tub that didn't work. During my stay my wedding band was stolen for my room and I'm still waiting on a call from management over a week later. This place is an absolute mess. Steer clear

It is a beautiful hotel, complete, has shops, bar, starbucks, swimming pools, basketball court, gym, pool, huge gardens for a pleasant walk; the rooms are fully equipped and equipped to feel at home.

Room was fine, it was a two bedroom villa and had a kitchen with washer/dryer. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that people are doing next to you, below you, and above you which makes things harder if you have a toddler who can't sleep through that. The pool was full and it seemed difficult to find a spot to sit in the middle of the day. Other than that, it's fine.

I stayed at the one in Florida. Amazing people, amazing staff, and amazing room. But I'd they tell you that it's a "no pressure group presentation" for a time share... dont believe them.

We had a wonderful time here! Beautiful scenery, lots of fun activities and the room was great. The pools were clean and there were plenty of places to grab a drink or eat. Conveniently located. There's a convenience store on site in case you need something and don't want to leave the property. The staff were very friendly.

Perfect place to relax. Rooms are updated and even the showers are great. Heated pools and bars.

Stay here for business 10-15 weeks a year and is my favorite spg property in the Disney area. Treat spg platinums very well. Great location with easy access to Disney, I drive, Publix. If only my company rate was available more often!

This is our second visit here and we have enjoyed it both times. We are in a very spacious one bedroom condo. It is a much better experience than a single room hotel stay. And we are just around the corner from Disney. We will be back.

Every year our family stays for a week with another family. This year we decided to stay on grounds and enjoy what they had to offer the families. Usually we are at Disney or Universal and never get to stay behind. The staff is very accommodating. Because the weather has been crappy we had to stay in a lot but the kids were able to play board games that were loaned from the activities Department. Every day there was something for the family to do. The only reason I did not give it a five-star is because I clean pavers for a living and I noticed a lot of mildew build up on the pool decks. I did comment to an employee about it and one area was cleaned but overall the mold and mildew on the pool decks bothered me especially with the kids running around barefoot.

Good quality hotel. Only problem is the water tastes horrible.

Really comfortable stay, in upgraded room with view. My room had this eggy smell initially (maintenance cleared it) but one device in a locked closet kept making this camera clicking sound (marriott I hope you don't try to sell the spy tape ). The bathroom was large and bed was comfy. Nice vacation, hope to come back.

This place is huge. The rooms are very nice and large. They have a very nice pool area and a good bar. I was not however impressed by the service we recieved. We tried to check in around 3:30 and our room was not ready. We decided to wait at the pool figuring our room would be ready at 4. When we went to the concierge to get our parking pass we got a sales pitch that was pretty agresive. Then the pool was closed even tho we were told it would be open. At 4 we went back to the desk and our room was still not done. 4pm is the check in time, all rooms that are going to have people checking in to them should be finished by then. We were told we would have to change room type if we wanted to go to our room immediately so we did. When we got to our room we had trouble getting our luggage up to our room because housekeeping had large carts parked in all the hallways and tying up the elevator. Apparently they need more staff for the number of rooms they have at this resort. The next morning we got a phone call from the desk asking about the sales pitch again even tho we had already told them no the day before. It is a shame because this could be a really nice place.

Great resort, well worth the money, I recommend it for families. Great pool, basketball courts and near the Disney and universal studios.

Big rooms and a lot of amenities. There's a lot of shops near by as well for food and shopping.

Our double room was beautiful. Views were nice and the grounds clean. The basics in the kitchen are truly basic. The cooking utensils held water dripped out of the handle when I was cooking. Yuck. Wrapped it in a paper towel to keep it from dripping in our food, and the towel got soaked with all the water coming out! Cooking pots and pans, coffee maker, and oven were fine.

The business center to print boarding passes was down and in the words of employees was slow even when it worked. The front desk was able to assist and get them printed but it would have been nice to deal with it ourselves. It also made other people needing the desk to wait longer. The room itself was pretty nice and easily accommodated an extended family. They did make an offer to sit through a sales pitch for the resort in return for a significant gift card. The person who arranged it made no mention of the spouse being required to attend (which in this situation was not possible). At the meeting they actually asked for the gift card back which came across kind of tacky.

We are owners and this is our home resort. The doubles are excellent. Can sleep six comfortably, also has a pull out couch. Nice pools, easy drive to Disney Parks. Plenty around for shopping and eating.

Amazing resort, friendly staff. Only complaint would be their bed pillows are not firm at all - no support so bring your own. ALSO, the water tastes like pool water and it's more expensive than gas in their marketplace so bring bottled FOR SURE! Other than that, the rooms and pools are VERY clean. Pirate ship pools are awesome with a big slide. Beautiful resort

Beautiful well maintained property, numerous buildings for lodging with modern suites, numerous pools, check them out especially if you have kids, near all main attractions and dining opportunities. Highly recommend.

We got an offer from our credit card from Sheraton. So we took it. It was a wonderful deal. We got there late and our contact person was very helpful and wonderful to get to know. She also took an interest in getting to know us as well. She did try to get us to upgrade our package to a VIP package to no cost but we would have to sit in a 90 minute Continental breakfast. We declined due to our schedule being already book for the week and we didn't have much time to squeeze that in. She didn't push us in upgrading and that was awesome.

We went up to our room after signing in. The room was huge and gorgeous. Had a sitting area, washer and dryer, kitchen, bath, and a nice master room. It is plenty of room to sleep four. Very clean and had a great view into the swimming pool.

Next morning our contact person did try and upgrade us again via a note in our door but after that we didn't hear back unless we needed anything. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was an awesome stay with happy staff.

This Resort has everything you can think of, many pools, massage spa, tennis courts, workout rooms, and even a small grocery store.

It was amazing really good place for families to stay and lots of activities.

Let's start with the staff. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. The resort is beautiful and there is plenty to do on it. You could spend a day or more just at the resort if you don't want to visit any other attractions in the area. They have a restaurant on site and the food is good, but not sure about the atmosphere or service because we had it delivered to the room. The resort is well located. It is a short drive to most stores you want/need, even the premium outlet. It is 15-20 minutes from Disney, too. The rooms were great with a kitchen, eating area, sitting area and a huge tub and shower(separate). Would definitely like to come back and would recommend it to others. The only negative was that every time I went to the on site store there was only one person working and there was always a line to check out.

Great centralized location for all of what Orlando has to offer. Nice amenities and home style accommodations perfect for families. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.

Had a great time. Since it was my wife's birthday they upgraded our room. They put is in the newer part of the hotel.

Great place, perfect for all. Three minutes to Sea World, and ten minutes to Disney

I would like to first say that I am a platinum lifetime member with Starwood, so I have seen my share of properties. The condition of the property is getting dated and it s just not well kept. My room this past visit was in very poor condition and I m sharing photos in hopes it can prepare you. I called down for another room and was told that they were fully committed.

Being transparent here, so I want to add that I reached out to property Leadership and they said that this room is due for being refurbished. Therefore, I can only say that staying here you risk having an old room. I won t stay here again, even if it s free using points. Just not worth it. Especially sagging mattresses.

In the spa villa, the mattress on the bed in the guest room was awful and hurt my back. There was a gecko that lived in our kitchenette under the oven there the whole time. Gross and unsanitary. The guest room stayed hot despite the air being on so the register was broken. The inside market was too expensive but convenient and the people were super friendly.

Interesting. I mean it's Florida right? You get a grill. Bunch of pools. People here are great to help.

Great Location. The rooms could be revitalized. Furniture and home appliances show signs of age as well as the bathroom finish.

Nice big pool with waterfalls!!! The downside of the resort is it allows smoking very close to the buildings and right next to parking spaces.

I give them one star because when I called just now on, asking if they had bed bugs or when was the last bed bug outbreak, the front desk receptionist did not want to transfer me to housekeeping or anything! I feel like if you did not want to transfer me on a subject that you have no knowledge about, then that means you have something to hide!! She was polite for majority of the conversation, but she was not very knowledgeable and then got defensive when I was trying to get to housekeeping. RIDICULOUS!

This place never disappoints! Amenities, accommodations and service experiences are impeccable! You can spend your entire stay in the area here and not to leave for anything or fun. Bar drinks at poolside are extremely overpriced though so next time I'll bring my own. Spent $42 for 2 plastic cup long islands.

This is a really nice resort with nice room to live in. The pools and outdoor spaces are nice and relaxing, but the pools never have towels in the evening/night, so bring some down with you.

Impeccable, good location to not be inside the parks. Excellent attention within the complex.
