This is a sprawling property that might be great for most, but I didn't feel a welcoming connection throughout my one night stay. They strongly concentrate on vacation ownership (timeshare) and I am not their target audience. My room was immaculately clean, and everything was in perfect working order. The same could not be said for some of the common areas.
Also, the connecting driveways are quite narrow, and cars can have some challenges, as well as pedestrians.

Stayed here for 6 days, in a one bedroom suite. We were quite impressed by the front desk and housekeeping staff on this property. We were welcomed by Garnik at the front desk, who was very friendly and provided the perfect suite for our one year old (ground floor, close to the kiddie pool and playground) . Thank you Garnik! As for the housekeeping staff, our suite was kept in tip top shape everyday! The suite itself was spacious and clean and the amenities were excellent, with daily activities on the hotel ground. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any families staying in Orlando!

Great resort to stay at. Beautiful and spacious rooms for a reasonable rate. Lots of fun activities on the property for the family to enjoy. Also there is a Starbucks in the resorts facility which is convenient for coffee lovers.

Our stay was excellent. We were able to check in several hours early. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was beautiful and the location was quiet but still an easy drive to Disney.

I booked this trip through Costco Travel, and have done so for the past 3 years. The experience was fine, until this year. Upon checking out on Feb. 21, 2019, we were told that there was no amount owing, but when I received my credit card bill over 1 month later, I noticed a hotel charge of over $1300 USD posted on Feb. 22, even though the entire amount owing for this trip had been prepaid and cleared 1 month earlier. Upon inquiring with the credit card company about this, I was eventually connected to a supervisor at the hotel who informed me that they had not received a deposit from Costco and therefore back-charged me the difference from the Costco rate to their regular rate. This was a three-way conversation, with the credit card company supervisor also taking part.
Two problems emerged at this point. First, when I called Costco travel, I was told by a travel supervisor that Costco does not ever send deposits on trips booked through them, and that the hotel supervisor was flatly wrong and had misinformed me. Second, I had never authorized the hotel to use my credit credit card after my check-out date, having been told that nothing wa owing then. In essence, they used my card without permission.
Costco eventually resolved this matter over 1 month later by contacting the manager at the hotel, who looked into it and finally admitted that there was indeed a glitch in the hotel billing system and that they would credit back the billed amount to my card. However, this cost me a great deal of time and effort to resolve, and had it not been for Costco s persistence, it would still be unresolved.
So thanks to Costco for coming to my aid, as they invariably do for their members. As for the management of the hotel, their behaviour and attitude was nothing short of disgraceful, having resorted to simply lies to just cover their error. They also used my credit card without my authorization. This was my third weekly stay at this hotel for the past 3 years, but I will not likely be returning there ever again. I will also think twice about staying at another Marriott property in the future, and may cancel my membership in their reward program. I have not been contacted by the hotel at this point to even offer an apology.

Overall, a huge and amazing resort, plenty of places to go within the resort, 3 different pools, lots of spa pools, hammocks, outdoor grills, and good scenery. The rooms with lots of space. The rooms also have a spa bath in them. Service is also pretty nice. The resort is also close to major theme parks and attractions, like Disneyworld, Universal Orlando, and Sea World.

Good hotel. Lot of strings attached. Everyone is nice until you say no to a time share. They found it unsatisfactory that we wanted to save up for a year so we could buy the time share. They wanted us to finance it now. The woman at the end of it was just rude. She was questioning us on how we spend our money each month and how come we can't afford the montly payment. The pirate ship looks better online than it does in person.

HOTEL STAFF ARE THIEVES. I do NOT recommend anyone staying in this hotel. Hotel housekeeper stole about $500 of my personal belongings and all management has been able to do is "question" the employee about the incident. She told them she thought my items were trash because they were inside of a shoe box and they cannot reimburse me for the items because i don't have a receipt for them (like everything that can be purchased in life comes with a receipt?).

Management has left me out to dry with no answers to anything. My only option now is to work directly with the police department, which i am.

If you wish to spend the weeks following your vacation/trip filing police reports and speaking to detectives, feel free to book a room in this place!

Room was nice, hair in jacuzzi tub, TV menu locked with brightness set very low making them hard to see. Was given "free" upgrade to 2 bedroom only to find a second deposit charged to my card and when questioned was told the upgrade had only been placed in system for the first night for free.....had I not realized until checkout it would have been my word against there's after I had already stayed meaning nearly $300 In extra charges

Very clean and spacious. I am a neat freak and very picky person when it comes to hotels and resorts. This is definitely one to add to the very few in Orlando that I personally prefer. It gives you that home feel and the if you are a family of 4 or more it is perfect

Best service you will ever find as a customer, anywhere. Period. They took care of us for minor inconveniences, went out of their way to make sure we had a good time after those inconvineces, and are extremely family friendly, while maintaining a high level of adult fun and relaxation. 11/10, would live here indefinitely.

Very nice stay. Close to disney which we liked. Only two problems while staying there. 1) The light oit side our room was so bright, it kept is up. We had to hang sheets over the curtain so the light would stop creeping in. And 2) the tub had a slight leak and was making to room smell musty. Didn't notice until we left but we let management know.

Great property, loved the gardens and pool area. Great for families of all ages, something for everyone! Stayed on first floor with view to one of the ponds. All balconies are covered with mosquito screens, master bedroom has a great size bath tub with private bathroom and a safe. Second bedroom had direct access to second bathroom and was pretty good size. Only complain is the musky smell, maybe from humidity of Orlando, I dunno. Had a great stay and loved the complimentary parking!

Nice pool area and activities, but first floor room smelled very musty and the night before we were to depart an alarm was going off for an hour starting at 1:30 a.m. in the morning when I had to get up at 4 a.m. in the morning all ready for an early flight.

I've always 'liked' Sheraton Vistana Resorts however, I LOVE it now that Marriott owns them. I'm a 2 week timeshare Vistana owner & I've noticed positive changes since Marriott took over. They're more of a class act that I expect & appreciate in a hotel/resort company.
