Overall the stay was ok. Room was booked under my father in law. Room had a weird smell, almost like mold/mildew. They get a 1 star because we did a timeshare tour which they charged my credit card $20 as a hold which was to be refunded 3-5 days after the tour. Tour was on 10/30/18. It is now 12/5/18. I have called 3 times to get the credit returned and keep being told it will be credited the following day. I wonder how many people they do this to promising a credit and never refund them and hope people just don t notice. $20 is going to cost a lot more very soon because the next call is going to be to an attorney for fraud.

Washing machine swapped 3 different times, all with the same deficiencies. We did not pack heavy due to the advertised washer/dryer in the unit. We had to purchase more clothes during the stay. We were truly disappointed.

This resort has a lot of potential to be great however, the rooms stunk of mildew and we had an ever present infestation of ants along the window and baseboards. I was happy with the many pools and the full sized kitchen but the smell was unbearable and even after calling maintenance multiple times it he smell remained.

Nice place to stay. We stayed here for a couple of nights since it was close to Sea World.

The only thing we did not like we felt the market place prices here we're much higher than we expected. We expect to pay a higher price as we have vacactioned in many places. For 6 20 oz drinks and one thing of candy $33.

Good location, staff and comfortable rooms. I give 3 starts is beause the bad experience buying the snakes in their village marketplace. There is no price sticker on any food/snacks in village marketplace. We anticipated the price will be higher, but without knowing their price is 3X more than outside in advance, we had to pay almost $15.00 for one small yogurt (almost $5.00) and one small fruit cup($10.00). We felt shocked and like being rubbed. I think Sheranton resort contract the store out, but it still their responsibility to manage them.

This place falls short on service / cleanliness. I usually don't leave reviews unless I am really shocked by horrible or amazing service because I work in the hotel industry. I know that sometimes a housekeeper may forget to lint roll the bathroom or a desk agent may not be on point at all times, but when things start to pile up, you know there are issues.
Dark stains on the duvet & blankets on the king size bed. The extra cotton blanket for pull-out was so pilled & rough, I had to layer sheets for it to be usable. Sticky marks and dust on nearly every surface in the bedroom. I was missing the DND hanger for my door, missing a menu for room service (45 mins after I called for one, they delivered it, by then I sent my husband out to pick something up instead.) The pool towels were policed heavily with towel cards you have to trade in to get towels, but I was never given any at check in, so I had to take both wet young sons to get cards, then back to get towels. If I lost a card, it would be $20 each! This must be a touch or miss, since I saw discarded towels everywhere on deck. A friend also staying but in a different building got 7 towels without cards. How do they judge this? By your appearance? I must look like a towel stealing hooligan.

Worst point was I enrolled in "Make a Green Choice", where you skip housekeeping and that day you get a $5 voucher for the restaurant. Not only was I never given a voucher, but when my son wet the bed overnight and I asked for the sheets to be changed I was told that there would be no housekeeper available to change them since I didn't give her 24 hour notice!!! I was not aware 24 hours in advance that my 5 year old would have an accident. I asked if she was saying I would have to sleep in a pee-soaked bed for the 4 nights I was staying! She replied very curtly, that she was not saying that. She is telling me a housekeeper would have time to bring me the new linens, but I would have to strip the dirty sheets and remake my bed myself as they could not spare the time to do it. At that point I was relieved that they would be giving me clean linens. 3 housekeepers showed up at my door to hand off the clean sheets & blanket and when they forgot pillowcases, one retrieved those quickly as well; however, I was surprised not one of them could spare 5 mins to change my bedding. When I placed the trash bags full of dirty linens outside my door, one housekeeper was still in the breezeway and was available to take them away...like he was waiting while I finished to take away the bags. The new blanket I was given was free of the dark stains that graced the original, so I was happy. After this incident I was not sure how the remaining 3 nights would fare, but I was pleasantly treated by all other personnel. A nice gentleman in uniform passing us stopped and offered to take group photos for us on a bridge pass on our last day. They do have LOTS of stray cats outside of their pool bar/restaurant which offers outdoor seating, and fruit flies a plenty within. All in all a lot of the staff are doing the best they can with what they have to work with which may be trying at times as a vacation destination, but that doesn't mean you can treat guests with a lack of common courtesy. As a summary: guest service agents here don't value your time or needs.

Had a wonderful stay at this location. The onsite restaurants, market, and business center are a great convenience. Their fitness center is large sized and had weight machines, free weights, chilled water dispenser and other equipment such as treadmills, elliptical etc.
Parking was very adequate and the staff helpful answering questions or giving directions in the area.
Nice children activities center, pool area and outdoor seating.
The villa rooms are nicely laid out, the kitchen, and laundry areas a bonus.
Will definitely be visiting again...

This is a great hotel. The people are polite and kind for you. The hotel is pretty big, so bring a car if you can. The location is in the heart of Orlando and you can easily go anywhere. Rooms are clean and new looking.

Great "hotel" for the price. It's conveniently located about 15-20 minutes from the Disney parks and Universal. It's right down the street from Sea World.

The staff does pester you to participate in their timeshare promo events. It can be time well spent if you need park tickets at discount. Otherwise, you can better spend a couple of hours at a park or enjoying the spacious rooms. My biggest complaint is the tap water is awful. I don't know if it's the hotel or Orlando but it has the most offensive flavor and odor. Do yourself a favor and get some bottled water.

We absolutely LOVE this place. We usually visit at least once every year or every other for the past 8 years!

The photographer on grounds offers fantastic optics for a memorable keepsake. Pool activities are fun and inclusive! The poolside vies is simply spectacular!

EVERY experience was a pleasurable one except the last. The cleaning crew must have ignorantly left the balcony door open while cleaning the room. The room was damp. I found myself up in the weeee hours of the night demanding a room change because the dampness of the sheets were just unbearable.

Location is great - hit Walmart for essentials, stock the fridge and enjoy! Kitchenette really helps save! And if you don t feel up to cooking, sit poolside and order from Flagers restaurant. Food there is delicious!

This review is of the room service: If you value your health do not eat here. I think this place really does not care about there guests. I ordered the Margarita Pizza and the cheese Pizza from the Hotel Pizzeria called Tito s (it was as $15 pizza by the way) It tasted like a frozen pizza and it smelled bad. The cheese was gross and looked artificial. We also ordered a burger that was also frozen an extra side of fries that tasted like freezer burn and a key Lime Pie. The Key Lime pie was spoiled and it literally made me vomit. It tasted like spoiled milk. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and told her to check her key lime pie because it can make someone sick and made me vomit. And as she rushed me off the phone she told me she would take it off my bill and hung up. I have never eaten from a restaurant it Hotel that doesn t care about there food or guest this much. Sharaton should be embarrassed.

Lovely resort with lots of fun extras. The pirate ship for the kids is great, and the lifeguards are vigilant. The only negative I found was our room had a window facing a hallway with a bright yellow light that was on all night, so even work room darkening shades, it was annoyingly bright still. Avoid the "08" rooms, at least in building 26.

The rooms were just like the pictures online. Close enough to all the parks but far enough away so traffic isn't a problem. The washer/dryer in the room really helps, so did the fully furnished kitchen. I can't think of another place I'd want to stay at.

Great!
Very good location. Of course you need a car to get around, but it is close to much of what we "need" to visit when we are in Orlando .. like a wall mart, outlets, parks ... very good cleaning facilities, very good recreation service .. kind staff..last time we chose not to have room service and received a dollar amount to be spent inside the property. Worth it.
