Sheraton Stockholm Review

Stayed here for 1 day.
Outstanding service!
Got an upgrade to a club room. The floor had a lounge an everything was free. I forgot my laptop at the hotel and noticed it at the airport. I called the hotel and the duty manager sent me the laptop with a taxi to the airport. I managed to get my flight with the laptop! Super happy and thank you so much!

Booked through Hotwire, but hotel did not accept my booking for one adult and two kids (2-17 yrs hotwire). Hotel had another kids policy and made us pay an extra fee to get beds for three.

Great hotel with excellent SPG status recognition (platinum) However the rooms felt a bit outdated. Also the bathroom I was in (top floor) was basically a weird streched rectangular box with strange lay out.

Excellent location and service. Close to Gamlastan. Not cheap though.

We have tried almost all the 5 star hotels in Stockholm including their breakfast during this summer. They are all doing some sort of altered solutions. But Sheraton s breakfast offering, in terms of the range and quality of product only, is definitely and obviously by far the worst amongst all. Even some of their lower standard hotels (eg AC marriot) provides much better breakfast.

Checked In with a room with very dirty bedsheet but duty manger immediately changed us to another better room and cleaned things up herself( shout out to Carolina, well done!) but the hardware of room is dated and no trace of luxury. No cromecast built in, they don t even bother to provide bath salt after being requested up front.

Overall, we think Sharaton has relaxed their standard big time. It is only worth a 3 star experience. So if you look for a good five star experience, I recommend hotel at six, bank or Lydmar. Avoid this one before they raise their standard again. Even quite a few 3/4 star is better like clarions and AC marriot.

Nice rooms, good food and nice staff of all nationalities

The feeling is a little best before date in the repo.
Likewise, the rooms have been for a while. But the staff is on the toe and it lifts the check-in. Even the lobby bar in the evening is nice with good drinks ..

Brilliant friendly bar, warm spacious rooms. Access to gym and steam room. Great stay!

Wonderful staff, great rooms, and a fantastic location- I'd absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to not just stay in, but experience Stockholm to the fullest.

Hotel near the city center. Lets discover the city on foot. Comfortable and clean rooms. Lack of electrical outlets! Beautiful gym with complete equipment. Breakfast rich and very diverse. A nice base to explore Stockholm.

The Best Place for Authentic Indian Food (when it's on the menu) !!

Pretty central. I am a little disappointed that when I was showering I found only a tiny bit of soap in the bathroom. They forgot full on.

Cons: Dilapidated accommodations.

Broken toilet paper holder.
Tub would don't drain without service.
Speaker controller broken/missing.
No bathroom fan.
Bathroom layout abysmal.
No shelving for one's personal effects in the living quarters.
No refrigerator or optional ice bucket.
Grounds did not offer outdoor common space. No optional balcony or terrace.
No pool or pool area.
No outdoor sitting area of any kind.
Busy road.
Hard bed
Unclean bathroom
Very poor lighting in main room
Expensive accommodations
Expensive restaurant with limited menu
Overnight parking for a rental car is $50 USD per night!
Not a comfortable stay. Issues with climate control settings

Very friendly staff, clean and nice room. Got free upgrade from standard king room to a king size bed with views of the old town when we were there on our anniversary.

Excellent Hotel with great Service and amenities. The Central Station is just 200 m away, the shopping district minutes away, and the historical sector is just across the Bridge making the location ideal. The rooms are cozy and clean

One of Stockholm's finer hotels with good service 24-7 boring facade but in the middle of Stockholm city

The scenery outside the window is good for a good location to walk to the main tourist attractions of the city. Although it is a holiday season and there are a lot of people at breakfast time, it is generally recommended. As a reference, I stayed on the 5th floor, although the room is of a high rating, there is no bathtub.

Well at least there were no strange stains and hairs.

This is a first time visit since becoming part of Marriott Bonvoy group. All you would expect from a hotel of this level. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, excellent service and good restaurant. Breakfast dining was buffet and offered anything you d want for most dietary requirements. Located 5 minute walk from the Central Rail Station, it s location is right in the middle of Stockholm attractions.

The Sheraton needs no introduction, I have stayed at multiple hotels in Sweden with the greater Stockholm area, and the Sheraton is that nicest of them all. The room: it's clean, big, and practical. Room service is great. I think general Im an organize person but I forgot to hang my clothes, so after work, the room service hanged them for me and even put my tooth brush and past in the cup, not all hotels do that. The hotel: it's big, clean and shows it's a bit old. Nonetheless full of facilities. General service: appsouletly customer centric, anything to help you and resolve your issues. To sum it up, it's the best customer experience among all the hotels I stayed with in Sweden.

Do not stay here! The staff is very uncooperative and difficult to deal with as well. If you are a frequent Marriott/spg customer with high standards you will be sorely disappointed if you utilize this property. This hotel is in major need of a renovation as well. As a platinum elite with Marriott for many years, booking this hotel was a huge mistake.

Reasonable sort of business hotel, not brilliant inside. The room are fairly basic, but nice. Breakfast is not included, something to think about when looking at the somewhat more expensive clarion sign, since it does include breakfast.

The hotel people were fairly useful in most cases, helping with issues getting my phone connected to the data network, although less so when I asked for places around the hotel for breakfast. They didn't give any useful suggestions, when I looked this up online there were a whole bunch of places nearby that would fit that sort of description.

Overall an ok hotel, nothing brilliant.

Lame services... Outdated building.. Just 30 minutes of free wireless on rooms per day... No swimming pool... Waiting 4 hours for my room to check in... For skiping the 3 house time I was asked for another 120 euro... Over priced bar... My advice : find something else.

Sheraton hostade a conference I attended to for a weekend in May. Couldn't really ask for anything more.

Centrally located . Generous and good variety breakfast restaurant. Rooms are dated and central heating in the room is very average and basic and price per night is very high for the type of room

Considering that you pay SEK 3,200 per night, the room should feel modern and fresh. Feels like the whole hotel needs a lift. What matters is the staff at the sheraton. They were very service-minded, something that is unusual in Stockholm!

The whole stay breathed budget hotel, breakfast is served on tray, dry bread, cucumber and tomato, sweaty cheese. Asked for wholemeal bread and apple juice but they could not arrange this. If you wanted an omelette, it cost SEK 79 Dusty and worn, there are several hotels in the immediate area that maintain a much higher standard at a lower price.

Nice location but with kind of old rooms. Be careful with the automatic minibar, because they will charge for anything that you move out of its place, even if you return it

Located in the heart of the city. Every direction outside the front door is a day adventure in itself

Always a great place in Stockholm. The food still needs work but the room size and prices offer excellent value. Fantastic location and great staff.

Nice staff, clean, meh breakfast, doesnt deserve 5 star rating due to lack of luxury stuff.
