I am so happy to meet Mr.Muhammed Asif Abbasi ,asst.Security manager,who helped us to find our most valuable hand bag with vital documents ,which we thought lost in the hotel as we came for a seminar at the conference Hall. He handled our situation so well that no words enough to thank him.He really needs an appreciation!

This hotel is quite old in terms of construction, however it is well maintained in accordance with Sheraton global standards. Very spacious with very nice pool, ballroom and rooms.

It's so well maintained, that one doesn't get to realise the property is aged. Great location, but the entry for vehicles (located at the rear) is a spoiler.

Well trained, efficient and helpful staff is a huge plus. This coupled with an impressive lobby and grand function rooms, makes the Sheraton a much sought after property still.

Lost its charm after closing back in 2007 and reopening in 2017

Nice, well run hotel, mostly business trippers, excellent breakfast buffet loaded with regional treats as well as traditional western fare. Very friendly and helpful staff. About 30 minutes, 18 OMR = $50 cab ride from airport, cabs are local cash only. Hotel internet is slow due to monitoring (?), hard to connect to, Skype is blocked.

A lovely place to stay. Very well appointed with own room coffee machine. Lovely staff who couldn't be more helpful both in the kitchen, house keeping and reception. The 13th floor club lounge was brilliant for happy hour. This is a highly recommended hotel. Use taxis and agree on a price before the trip. Closer to Mutrah souq and port than many hotels

The staff is very elegant and the staff is very friendly

Great hotel with lovely rooms and staff. Wednesday night seafood is great with grilled seafood and lobsters. Gym is well equipped with an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, steam and jacuzzi. Staff were especially welcoming and happy to help. The only fault of the hotel is probably the location as it isn't in any of the posh neighbours nor is it at a tourist location however it's close to some of the business in the area.

Good location as my work is in the Ruwi area.Returning after 10+ yrs to this hotel . Rooms are tastefully furnished . Staff excellent both at the front desk & the restaurant. Only gripe---ordered room service at 1am & was told they have run out of KEtchup. Other than this small inconvenience no other complaints

Newly refurbished and a lovely room.
Sadly let down by some of the service. I ordered calamari and chips for dinner and they arrived in separate wire baskets, no plate. Then a side plate arrived. Finally I got a proper plate. Another guest asked for a vodka martini and nobody knew what he got but it was red.

Wonderful experience in the Sheraton Hotel
The hotel is wells located near the motorway and allows to drive quickly in any direction, it is closed to the Corniche area
The lobby is huge and pleasant
The welcoming staff at the entrance is very friendly and gentle
The valet service is mandatory with the room
The room we had was not so big, and quiet, equipped with a coffee machine and bottles of water
The breakfast is available until 11am with a wide range of meals, and fresh fruit juices. You can take your breakfast near the pool
The swimming pool is big enough to swim and is equipped with 4 bubbles beds in the water
The parking was included in our rate and you can park easily your car, even in the evening
The staff is very professional and gentle (front office, concierge and housekeeping)

The hotel was reopened after years of maintenance and has been opened with a new look and is a very excellent hotel

Food took a long time to prepare, some waiters need refresher course in table etiquette in serving food and drinks.
