Sheraton Oman Hotel Review

Started our trip in Oman at this hotel. Very clean, nice restaurant, large rooms, and the pool area is peaceful despite a noisy neighborhood. We even decided to come back later in our trip.

After ten years of closure, the famous Sheraton Oman in Ruwi re-opened completely renovated. Rooms very comfortable and peaceful. Extensive spa with great indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Famous outdoor Wednesday fish Barbeque. Beautifully decorated restaurant with live piano music. Also in the basement is club Turbine and Taps, where the mixologists make great cocktails and the Lady DJ spins great beats. Overall a top notch option in Muscat.

Great place, but everything is too-o expensive (1.5 OMR for a small bottle of water at the pool, which normally is 100 baiza)

I did have a review on same hotel before. Since then. Yes there is nothing around it. But once you are inside you will not want to leave. Hotel interior design is a piece of art. The tea library is where you can relax and have you got or cold beverages with the best sweats. Pool side is a great place to relax BUT the pool is too shallow for swimming. It's seems it's made to use it for relaxing and chatt. They do have interior pool for laps. If you looking for an exceptional branch you must visit ASADO. Each night they have a grill at the garden. You can choose. Chicken, beef or fish. They have Turkish mezza that will compliment your meal. Rooms are in an amazing design BUT a bit night and cannot open the shutter to see outside. Gym is fine but lack basic gym accessories. The ONLY bad thing I say is that when they have s buffet I never liked it. Go for the menus and your happy.

Good hotel, amazing swimming pool, perfect for business travelers or family.

Sheraton Amman Hotel is a first class hotel and everything is organized and sophisticated from the reception and cadre to the clean and spacious rooms equipped with all amenities .. My experience was a few days and the attached rooms were spacious and tidy where we attended a workshop in one of these halls.

A great hotel overall. Its location makes it more or less only accessible by car. At first glance the hotel may seem old and unappealing. But once you enter your room a pleasant surprise awaits you; a very modern and comfortable room. The bedding is amazing and showers are just right. The view we had from our room was also great. Also despite being right across from the lift, the sound proofing of the room was excellent as we hardly heard any noise from the outside. An excellent value for money!

The Sheraton Hotel from the Sheraton International Hotel Group has been out of business for over 10 years and now opens and offers beautiful services

Nice clean well furnished hotel... Friendly helpful staff... Good breakfast buffet... evening buffet sadly lacking and the laundry service is very expensive... use the one in the street near the hotel entrance.

Went for Friday brunch pricing is decent for the wide variety of food. Indian, Arabuc, roast, non-muslim section, seafood (crab, fish). Newly done up hotel, nice interior. 25RO for the unlimited soft drink package.

On a separate note, checked the separate tea menu after the buffet out of interest and it's 3.5 rials for a pot of tea which sounds expensive to me.

Best place in Muscat to have seafood. If possible have Wednesday evening sea food over there!

Friendly atmosphere, very attentive staff. Always felt like home. Definitely one of the best hotels in Muscat.

Amazing hotel. But. Man on fire the breakfast is expensive! Head out over the road, crossing to the right of the hotel and there is an amzing Turkish place that will be the best start to your day.

Excellent hotel, elegant and comfortable environment, has indoor and outdoor relaxation areas as well as a Spa and fitness area.
There is also a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with hydro-massage area (very powerful and relaxing) and solarium. Spacious, comfortable and very quiet rooms. The ensuite bathroom has a bidet, a rather rare detail in a hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet with an infinite choice of sweet and savory foods as well as fresh extracts and smoothies.
All worthy of a Sheraton. All the staff are also perfect, particularly attentive and kind, with particular merit for the kindness and courtesy of the dining room staff who, thanks to the professionalism of Julie, Mary, Kristel and Lita (who also speaks Italian) made me feel at home. throughout my stay.
I have been traveling the world for almost 30 years but a hotel where you truly feel at home always makes the difference. Compliments.

Good attention from the staff, they maintain the standards of care for Covid, beautiful facilities and decoration

My first time in Oman and selected the Sheraton because of the reviews. I could not have been happier with my choice! The hotel and grounds were outstanding. I was in the club level room and was greeted with a plate of assorted candies with "Welcome Mr. Segundo" written in chocolate. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Along with the traditional breakfast items, there were other station from different countries. An oriental noodle cooking section for breakfast. Outstanding!
Even though all that was great...the highlight was the staff. You can tell the management at the Sheraton hires and keeps staff who make me feel like royalty. These are some of the staff who went out of their way to make my stay memorable.
Life guard Ameer from Egypt at pool. Knew where all the good spots to sit at poolside for best sun. Imal and Ishara served me food by pool also. Diana and Ceelin in the club lounge where great. They seemed to know all the guests and remember our names. Ida at the concierge helped me find a way to the beach and provided me a cooler to keep my drinks cold for the long ride to Wadi Shab.
I would definitely recommend the Sheraton in Muscat and will go back to the property again because of the staff.

Nice hotel in a central location. Room and pool are nice and ideal for relaxing. The food is very extensive and high quality. The hotel is ideal to enjoy the first days in Oman.

One of the oldest hotels in Ruwi. This doesn't have great views but provides all the facilities and most of the dignatories stay here because of the brand name entities by Sheraton worldwide.
