Not a bad hotel to stay at, considering its location in Kampala. Some of the bar fridge items are a bit over-priced though: A small packet of peanuts, or a Minute-Maid juice, at US$4 an item left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was hosted to the End of year customer appreciation cocktail party. I love Sheraton, for its delicious food and the amazing hospitality. I normally give them business of conferences / workshops, breakfast meetings, etc. All my referrals have never been disappointed.

This Caribbean Cocktail Party was something everybody needed after a long year of hardwork. Open bar and an endless flow of snacks. Beautiful entertainment and service. What more could I say?

One of my favorite hotels in KLA and happy it s a Marriott brand. The staff is so great. Friendly and caring. The food is good most of the time. A bit over priced for what you can get outside of the hotel grounds, but if you are not leaving the hotel then it s good to eat. The gardens are nice and the music on the weekends is 5 stars. Not only are the rooms good but the cleanliness is 5 stars.

Great room, free wifi and amazing view of the city.

I have travelled extensively into Africa and this has got to be a favourite. I was a little surprised at the metal detectors and security on arrival but most places in Uganda take safety and security very seriously.

I was most impressed with my room which boasted a comfortable bed, free wifi which didn't seem to have any limitations and an amazing view of the city. There were also complimentary bottles of water and a fruit bowl in my room when I arrived.

The staff was generally quite friendly and fluent in English so communication was not an issue.

Dining at the Seven Seas restaurant downstairs was a pleasure and I would recommend the buffet if you are looking to sample the whole variety of flavourful dishes on offer, including many authentic dishes specific to Uganda.

Sheraton is one of the Kampala city talk of the town hotels and also a five star as of hospitality rating. Well I was at the conference side and it seemed okay and well attended to by the Sheraton tireless moving waitresses and waiters. The sound systems were okay from start to the end. But I never ate anything and so I can not give you well discription of the taste and quality of their food. Some who tired said it was okay but expensive. Anyway what do you expect from a five star hotel

An old hotel. Divided into names. Breakfast is delicious. Diverse. There is a pool and gym. But there are hotels and cheaper and newer. If it were not for the work I would have found both cheaper and better. And for Africa. 195 dollars expensive. Yes, and dinner is not cheap.
