Came to Napa for the "free dream vacation week" last September and listen to the timeshare spiel. We were plied with a lunch offer after spinning a wheel at a local street fair -- so we didn't eat before arriving. HUGE mistake. They had stale sandwiches and tangerines. What a joke. We were completely willing to give them the 90 minutes promised. THREE HOURS LATER....... we were done with them but they weren't done with us. And... we were never even shown the local property as promised. What a relief. Can't imagine how much LONGER this would have taken! They pass you off to this person and that. Their most enticing part of the event is the group presentation. BEWARE (it's just a teaser). After the group presentation, you are carted off with one guy who presents a chart and prices. He passes you off and the "next" guy take a turn. It was like being attacked by darts in a carnival by a bunch of clowns. The last guy actually insulted me and had my husband raising his voice in defense of me. I ended up in tears by the time we left. But wait... just when we thought we could go, we were then passed off to "guy number....?? (lost track!)" -- He wants is to rate the reps!! We gave one guy a mid-range number and the awful guy a zero. No apology came our way -- only a last ditch effort to save a sale by offering us just ONE more thing.... We'd had ENOUGH. Now, we are in possession of a "free dream vacation week" which will cost us almost $400 for the week because there *really* is a nightly charge not revealed in their pitch. That's over three hours of our lives we will NEVER get back. And... tossing the "free dream vacation" into the garbage, to boot. Oh...they also give you a three-day voucher for one of 6 locations -- $79 only BUT... you will have to sit through another timeshare!!! HA!!

I purchased a Shell Vacations timeshare in 2004. Purchased more points in 2014. I went to a presentation today while at the Vino Bello. After the time share rep realized I was not got to purchase more points and upgrade to Wyndham she offers me an exit option out of my time share. When you won t upgrade they want you to opt out of your time share! In other words I m not a paying customer anymore!
Hell no. Not unless they give me my 20k back!
Beware of this timeshare. How many 20k vacations can you take with this?
SCAMERS!

I know timeshare spiels suck, but the senior person they brought in to win us over insulted us, asked incredibly inappropriate questions about personal details, and then gave attitude when we still said no because it actually doesn't make sense for us to have a timeshare. We travel a lot so we aren't the easy sell. If I cared about what people think more and wanted to waste more of my time, I would have raised hell with a manager, but I just got my "gift" and GTFO'ed.

If you aren't a hard ball player, don't walk in here.

On the plus side, Travis was great. He left us feeling knowledgeable and we might have pursued this at a later date if he had been the only person to interact with. They brought in a 30-year old witch who must be a "good salesperson" but would have made me cry if I actually gave a ****. I think I almost made her cry from frustration though! ;)

My wife and I came to Vino Bello for our 1-year anniversary, and neither of us had much knowledge of timeshares so we decided to attend a presentation since they offered us free wine tasting for attending. While the initial presentation was great, our conversation with our sales rep was absolutely atrocious. She was extremely disrespectful and pushy, but didn't seem to have much detailed knowledge on how it all worked. When I told her I don't make impulsive decisions and would need to do some research on my own, she decided to personally attack me and call out a failed business partnership I brought up earlier. She kept insisting "there's no research you can do". My wife and I were absolutely shocked at the repulsive sales tactics and the complete lack of professionalism.

My husband and I had a presentation with Will Lowes. He was very enthusiastic, well informed and knowledgeable. We were told the benefits and opportunities that would open up if we decided to invest with Shell. We were given a nice hot breakfast too. We were having a wonderful session till the time my husband told Will that we would also be considering another time-share club's offer and would make our decision based on the comparison of both Shell's and the other company's offer. That's when Will became visibly hurt and disconnected and even attributed the fact that we were listening to another offer on the fact that we happened to be Indian. He mentioned twice that he understood that it was our Indian upbringing that caused us to consider multiple offers and was very cold afterwards. This is a vacations club afterall and the agents would have people not taking them up on their offers straightaway. We were highly disappointed after this experience and would definitely not associate with Shell in any way after this.

I did a presentation with the "Colonel", very personable and zero pressure as promised. Great breakfast and laughed and learned for two hours about what they had to offer. I've sat through a few time share presentations in the past but this was much different. This is a great solution to inflation and the high cost of travel that keeps going up every year. So glad I came in.
