We had our Ascme Union party there
Was a great time with coworkers and their families

Bowled here for leagues and open bowling. Lanes are kept up, good atmosphere.

I love this place they're so good to my class I bring my whole class there every week and they are wonderful

Not bad but not overall great either could use a good deep cleaning and an update

Staff was great help with our questions and we'll kept place wish we were closer.

Just your regular bowling alley. I've been to ones where the environment just seems nicer or more comfortable and there are more things to do around but they've got good deals certain days. Definitely check out Shelby lanes.

Second year here for fundraiser . Staff took care of our every need and we had a blast. Two thumbs up!

Never been a great experience here. Between greasy lanes, common counting errors and apathetic staff, it's never been a great experience. But outside of that they are friendly enough and clean.

Nice open bowl times and lanes. Good service from the bar and food is tastey. Recommend.

Our favorite local bowling alley. Still has that perfect smoked around in the 90's smell that everyone yearns for in a bowling alley.

Subbed on a women's league (Wednesday) Bowling & wine at a great rate! Had a great time and staff was helpful and friendly.

All I wished was that the food concession was open. Other than that, I had a blast.

Hands down one of the best bowling facilities in the area. Everyone was on top of their game tonight. We had amazing service from the moment we walked in. I highly suggest using this bowling alley.

Its a good bowling alley, lots of team events and open bowling. Great afternoon of fun. Time has not been kind though, and lots of stuff is starting to look old and dirty.

They have Bosco Sticks and a Simpsons Arcade machine. Need I say more?

Nice bowling alley. Average bar food. They only had one girl cooking so it was a half hour-45 min. wait for simple stuff. Women's bathroom ceiling was falling down and messy.

Bowling is a great way to hang out with your family. Snack bar is great.

Gets a little busy, and the building and interior is pretty dated, as are the bowling stations, but it's still a great place to hang out

No complaints. You may look at the exterior and assume that it's just a run down alley, but when you go inside you find out it isn't. It's nice, well kept, and is a decent place to go bowl. The price is fine and better with more people. You pay hourly and one hour gets you one game with some time to spare.

I took my daughter there on a mommy daughter date. We had so much fun! I was pleasantly surprised with their prices. I was amazed when they had a deal going on and we were able to eat and bowl for less than $10.00 per person. We will be going there again anytime we want to go bowling. Thank you so much for being so affordable and fun.

Good bowling alley. Usually always have lanes open. I recommend calling ahead to see if they have open bowling. Shoes and balls are of medium quality. Cash is best for the bar since they seem to have dial up for the CC processing machine. 3.50 for a bottle of beer is a ok price.

This is a family-friendly place to take your kids. They treat each child as if they were their own

Shelby lanes is not well maintained. Bathrooms looked nice but we're filthy, the carpet and bar also had a dirty smell. Drop ceiling could be redone. The lanes themselves are well maintained, however the machines that track the number of pins and set the pins had multiple faults. All in all would go again on my own but not with company. Edit: moved my score up because I actually got a response. I appreciate it. :)

Very cramped seating. If you can get a seat at all. Concession prices are outrageous too. $9 for chicken strips and fries?

Shelby Lanes is a great place to have fun at and bowl. The food is good for a bowling alley and the customer service is very good. I have absolutely no complaints about this place it was one of the only few good bowling alleys left in the region. Also the prices are very reasonable and affordable for the typical Michigan family.

Wasn't too impressed. The restroom had water coming thru the ceiling which caused the floor to be wet. The overall cleanliness was not great. I haven't bowled on quite some time ...We were there for a birthday celebration..Would not recommend this place

Great place for kids birthday parties!!! Fun and friendly atmosphere

Friendly staff. Kids bowled free. Saturday in the middle of the day it wasn't busy at all.

I will never go there again, disrespectful people, I don't recommend anyone to go there.

Staff is hit or miss. Snack bar was great and friendly, but the two other workers were not pleasant people. I'll find another place for parties.

This please is horrible I recommend never and I mean NEVER coming here. There is this guy that never stops yelling at you and he doesn't alow too have fun he just need to take a hike. He is always yelling at kids and makes them cry I took my 2 kids my 6 year old daughter and my 10 year old son and they said that they wanted to leave even though they love bowling. The other employes were nice but I still reccomend coming. There is lots of other bowling places around you.

Visited for a party, seemed reasonable. The conditions seemed fine the staff was polite but seemed to be a little short handed for a Friday night.

Retro vintage classic nostalgic feel of a bowling alley. Really polite and kind service. Had a fun family blast. Will be back!

Very friendly. Asked about my way home after drinking. This is a great place to hang and bowl. Be back every Thursday.

Total dump. Called ahead on a Saturday and person answering the phone confirmed open bowling to close. Then when I arrive I was told open bowling ends at 4:30. Management wasn't even concerned with who answered the phone and provided the incorrect info. Avoid this place! I could have went elsewhere and got bowling in with my son.

Great lanes and friendly people. Lane conditions always seem to be pretty good, with minimal lane breakdowns or problems.

We went here for my nephews birthday party. The girls that were assisting us while in the party room were super nice. We had a lot of fun.

My daughter bowls with the high school league and I m not allowed to stay with her!! All other bowling alleys allow the parents to stay!! This is direct order from this bowling alley!! This alley is a disgrace!!!

Played here on a Tuesday night after getting a new ball at the excellent 12X Pro Shop. I didn't play so well on my first game, but then Don't You Want Me by The Human League came on the radio and I immediately found my groove. I went on to play the second best game I've ever played (it wasn't a great score or anything but I felt pretty good). The tech in this bowling alley is retro (as is the architecture), but there's something rather charming about it. If I lived closer to this place, I would definitely come here more often.

We called to see if there was open bowling on a Friday and we're told they were wide open all night. When we got there they told us there was a 15-minute wait. We didn't really have too much choice because it was already late, so we waited, but it would have been nice to know this earlier. The gal that was working the counter was really nice but the guy with her didn't seem to like his job. The lanes were a little dry and the sitting area was tight and close together but all in all not a horrible place.

So much fun! They hosted a birthday party for us and the service was great!!! We will return in the future!

Amazing staff and great price range. My family went there and all we saw was smiles.

I work here the staff (including myself) is great at what they do. The food at the snack bar is yummy. (Not to toot my own horn) 3$ shoe rental, and we have a pro shop. They can help with any and all your bowling purchases. Such as balls bags and shoes.

Have been coming here since I was a kid, always have a blast here
