The best donut you will ever have. I come up from Baltimore MD about once a month for a baker's dozen.

If you had seen the staff wiping there shirts with their hands than not cleaning them to grab the doughnuts. This is nasty and unprofessional.

Plain old fashioned donuts are still my favorite. Day old donut holes are kids favorite.

For reasons that I suspect elude most donut enthusiasts, Maple Donuts has decided to brand itself as the unofficial donut shop of Right-wing extremists. The storefront features a Trump banner, the interior brodcasts Fox News constantly, and their latest billboards take aim at professional athletes protesting police brutality.

What does any of this have to do with donuts? I'm afraid I haven't smoked nearly enough meth to figure that out, but it all adds up to a message that projects contempt and hostility towards local residents who are not die-hard Republicans.

Message received, Maple Donuts. I won't go where I am not wanted.

Best donuts ever at least in my opinion and their lunch foods are good even though it's a small selection they have seasonal donuts and some very creative donuts for kids

This location for some odd reason almost never has maple donuts which are my favorite flavor. This one can make there own donuts yet they do not have their main product? Maybe rename it to just plain donuts. Seems to me you would have your main product always available. Krispy Kreme always has there originals not this store. Other maple donuts have them stocked up. It's just frosting. How you run out of maple frosting if your called maple donuts. Other than that it's a pretty decent place.

nothing better than a fresh batch of the local donut flav. wish they had the maple bacon donuts more but would never complain.

I love this place and their donuts, they are absolutely delicious. Their staff is respectful, the donuts are fresh, and if you have AAA you get a free half dozen of donuts. The French curlers are to die for. They make great birthday cake towers!

Updated: Considering that these might be the best donuts in York is obvious. I would go as far as the east coast. Because of these donuts, I have a different opinion, standard, expectation I am looking to reach every time I try a donut. Nothing compares! It's incredible, these donuts are one of the best donuts you could ever try.

I know this is an iconic location... but, the donuts are super sweet (if you like that), the coffee is mediocre, and the lady behind the counter was less than friendly.

While visiting and working here from Atlanta, Georgia, I discovered Maple Donuts while searching for Coffee one morning. This place reminded me of a donut house I used to freauent as a kid growing up in Colorado. My Lord, it is wonderful......I am going to be sad when I leave and at the same will look forward to returning to York one day.

While i may not agree with the "Trump Pence" banner out front, there is no arguing this old school jem. Fresh donuts are actually fresh and the "one day young" special not only still tastes better and more fresh than dunkin donuts, but at 3 packages for $5 it is cheap cheap cheap and delicious in variety and taste.

Maple Donuts is a York County staple! I look forward to taking my kids here on the occasional Saturday morning, and them getting to pick out their own donut, and then working as a team to fill out the rest of our baker's dozen. The coffee is also what you'd expect at a classic donut shop: fresh and fulfilling. The donuts themselves are sizable, but watch out: some of the frosted and filled ones are a meal in and of themselves!

The variety here is amazing, the staff is always accommodating, and the atmosphere feels like you're stepping back a few years to a time where the "old guys" sip their coffee at the table, digesting the newspaper, and shooting the breeze. I will continue to bring my family here, as well as make the frequent stop to get a few dozen for my coworkers.

We ordered 4 donuts and one of them wasn't what we ordered and that was disappointed. The prices weren't bad. They were a bit stale, but tasted good. I would probably not go back in the evening. The service was great and the cashier was friendly attentive (just didn't give us the right donut). Wasn't bad but was wasnt stellar either, 3 stars.

Maple Donuts are my personal gold standard for donuts. While they don't offer more "unique" flavors, their classics are hard to beat.

Also great for a breakfast sandwiches (on a croissant) when you're in a hurry.

Always a great visit. Even with the political controversy with Trump dry sense of humor.

If you expect to be served at the counter, you'll be sadly disappointed. Every time I've been in, I've waited about 15+ minutes to finally be noticed. Which is ridiculous.

Today the manager was feet away the whole time and didn't bother for 20 minutes.

Can't recommend based on that, even though they have good doughnuts.

My Son and Daughter in law got doughnuts for there wedding from here and they are hands down better than Dunkin if you enjoy doughnuts you will never want anything else

Even though I've moved away, Maple Donuts is still my favorite donut place in the entire world. Tastes like heaven and reminds me of home.

They made a donuts for us without chocolate on top it had peanut butter filling.

Doughnuts we're stale and tasted nasty. The older lady was apologizing and very sympathetic. Offered me new product and discounts, but I feel like it's all the same. I bought in store and at 2 different locations they're just yucky.

The attendance named IMAN ( a ugly old woman) was VERY VERY HUDGE, BAD POLITE, WITHOUT EDUCATED, SHE WAS RIDICULOUS when I asked about the name of the donuts, because they gave me a wrong donut, this was they fault and she make joke about my question in front of the all customers! I wanna know if I will have to see her ugly face again or is better I don t came back to this store? You teach your employees treat the customers like this??? Please answer me!!

Service is always wonderful and the donuts have always been my favorite, but I don t take politics with my coffee.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. They are crummy trump supporters and the owner is a total chump. Also their donuts do not taste very good and the York location is dirty. Go somewhere else.

The owner has a crush on Trump, so I normally avoid their products. But I picked some up on request for a special event. I have to admit, begrudgingly, that the their donuts are delicious. The place is open 24/7. I picked up 3 dozen donuts and a box of coffee with no advanced warning. And I was in and out in 10 minutes. Minus 4 stars because Trump lemmings.

Excellent tasting and generous size doughnuts. Fresh, soft and filled doughnuts had plenty of whatever fillings it was label as. Will never eat from a chain doughnuts store again after tasting one of theirs!

Awful service and management. The owner is very rude to his employees, they pay you peanuts and its very insulting when the owner and his sons park there 100 thousand dollar plus vehicles in front of the employee door so you cant miss it. Smh.

Their billboards are in poor taste. They have lost me as a customer and I m sure many others. Truly foolish business owners that isolate any customer that does not believe with their political views.

Great donuts... old fashioned classic American donut/ coffee shop

STAFF NOT WEARING MASKS APPROPRIATELY, customers not required to wear one, place was filthy and there were flies in the display - I turned around and walked out. It was my birthday and all I wanted was an apple fritter, especially after having driven three days on a Navy move, but I felt like I would have been risking my life for one. Management needs to go check on this place, it's a catastrophe.

The family and I were super excited for donuts only to be given mediocre, at best, donuts. All the employees inside were wearing their masks under their chins, like really what's the point? The lady that served us was rude the entire time and just seemed bothered by everything. GRUMPY. Won't be coming back.

On 11/5/2018 at about 7pm we stopped at this maple donuts on our way home. There were 3 people sitting at the counter, 1 female employee making something at the microwave. We waited for what seemed a long time and the employee never acknowledged us. We had put one box of day old donuts on the counter by the register. She then finally looked over and said all you have is that? And i said no...we also want a dozen fresh donuts. Then she didnt say anything and went back to what she was doing. Then she finally ran over to us and said let me ring you up so i can get back to my customer. I said this is not all we want. The employee said 'you said thats all you had'. I said no....that is not what i said and we are customers too! The employee then said 'you are my best customer'. The employee then said ' let me get my customer coffee first'....my husband was fed up and said we are leaving. If one employee cannot handle 4 customers......you need to hire employees that are capable. And it was obvios english was not her first language. I guess hiring non skilled people is cheaper as i can imagine the employee was being paid very minimal. We will never shop at maple donuts anywhere. We will be sure to let all our friends and family know what kind off business maple donuts is running.

Best donuts anywhere. I literally drive an hour from Maryland on occasion to get them.
