Prices were fair and the food was good but not fantastic, the service was extremely slow and inattentive

Great food. Great location on Venice beach. We really enjoyed our lunch there.

We had a great experience. It was a little pricey and while the food was good, it wasn't great. The cheap plastic chairs were not very comfortable on the deck. Service was good. If you are looking for a place to eat on the water, this one is pretty good.

Our group called ahead several hours prior to make reservations but it seemed the person on the other end didn t really know how busy they were or if we could place our name on the list. It was even worse when we decided to visit in person. The hostess upfront by the curb stated there was no wait, while the other hostess at the podium closer to the restaurant, stated it was a 30 minute wait that then climbed up to 45 minutes. At one point the hostess even acknowledged that they should get a walkie-talkie for the other hostess so that she is informed better.

I would recommend restaurant management improve their reservation process and communication to customers. Whether on or off season this spot is a tourist destination. Many come for the experience and the stories around Sharky s. Ours hadn t even begun and it was soured from the start.

I thought the food was very good as well as the service. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and my wife had the lobster roll. We were very satisfied. Thanks to Christina from Neal properties for recommending Sharkey's!

Definitely a tourist attraction with adequate food. The onion rings, however, are phenomenally good.

Very great food, however the service was okay. The bartenders were very short with people and our server was also a little on the rude side. It was super busy when we went, so I get that they are frazzled, but I think that place is like that a lot, so it would be something you're used to if you work there. The wait was two hours unless you can randomly grab a seat outside or at the bar. Beautiful location and seems like a fun place otherwise. They had live music and great frozen drinks!

Ate outside beachside and it was pleasant, good food and atmosphere.

Great drinks and excellent food from a varied menu! Many dishes pricey, but some delicious alternatives for less, including Jerk Chicken. Very popular, but lot's of parking. Best beach in the Englewood/Venice area. One of our favorite places to bring friends and spend a day.

Great location and an awesome atmosphere makes this a very cool place to stop and grab a bite... and maybe a drink or two ...the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and fun, and a moderately priced menu made this a trip that I'm glad I took.

Definitely a great place to visit! Great food selection, and great layout! Only issue is during the times of COVID, I feel as if social distancing distance is too large. Many more seats would have been available if wasn't for this. But besides this great place and would recomend!

The gift shop unfriendly. I wanted to buy some T-shirt s but you have to ask for help to see T-shirt s. They can only get your shirt out. I like to touch, see and compare sizes on stuff before I buy. So no sell here.

This place is amazing! Right on the beach by the Venice Pier. They have inside and outside dining. Service was outstanding! We had the Rainforest Platter which had Gulf shrimp and scallops over either rice or pasta and grilled onions, pineapples, mangoes and red peppers tossed with a sesame ginger sauce. Scrumptious! Definitely will return. Atmosphere was nautical with posters of all the different species of groupers and sharks on the wall. Loved this place!

If you only have time to visit one restaurant in Venice, hit this one or Finn's upstairs for fine dining. The views are top notch and the good very good. Service is fast and pleasant.

Terrible service! The waiter serving us was one of the worst I have ever encountered!!! I was being polite and respectful the whole time despite the service I received. Asked 3 times for ketchup and she would constantly walk away in the middle of me trying to ask/tell her something just plain rude! The food is WAY overpriced for the amount and quality you get. One of my WORST dining one experiences, wont be back.

Had a great meal, good menu alot to choose from. And the location is perfect.

It's a basic pierside food place... it's ok touristy and not all that cheap for what you get.

Ron at the tiki bar was amazing! Met friends for lunch and everything wass great as always. It is a fun place to take out of town guests

Okay. So my star rating is based off of service and food quality. Not the view and vibe of the place.
The bartender under the tiki bar. Big blocky weight lifting guy. Not sure what his issue is but you can probably stand there for 20 min without him asking what you want to drink. Which is crazy assuming he s trying to make tips. Nevermind getting him to come back to ask if you want a refill or a menu.
It s a one drink and get out type of bar, at least that s what he makes it out to be( this experience was pre covid)
My wife and I ate here right after covid. They didn t have half of the food on their menu. We wanted mahi but of course they didn t have mahi. I can t remember exactly what else we tried getting but at the end we basically just asked them so what do you have rather than asking for everything on the menu just for her to tell us it was unavailable.
Views are great. Everything are overpriced, gift shop is cute and affordable though compared to everything else. Super hotspot for tourists though. So I can see where they make their money.

This place is it for casual beach dining with a lost in the islands feel. The facilities and staff are great. The menu and food are both excellent. We had blackened mahi tacos and grouper tacos along with the fried calamri. They were easily the best fish tacos ive ever had. Dont forget to ask for the strawberry bread!!

Great place, very busy so expect a wait. Live music and friendly people.

Food and customer service was very good. We ate inside, and had a lovely view in the corner. Did not have to wait too long for food even though it was a holiday weekend and they were very busy.

The food, the place, the beach it's all amazing. We love this place. Never had bad service, love looking for sharks teeth.

Great Service, Very fast. Food was great. Location very good. Good choice of either indoor or outdoor seating. Dessert was Well Worth it. Would go back again.

This is a great place to go if you don't want anyone to bother you. We were able to spend a whole 20 minutes watching people eat their food while the waitress ignored us and complained about getting a penny for a tip. My favorite part was when we ran around looking for a manager to let him know one has helped us. In the end, it was a super fun 40 minute trip. I only wish there was a station for me to take a water break or something.

Cute place and the service was great. So why the 4 stars? The food prices are insane. I live in the city of St Pete and even beach drive restaurants are cheaper. Now. With that being said their drinks are very cheap. Which is super backwards. They honestly could raise drinks a buck more and lower food and come out on top. I'd go back. Just was blown away by the food prices.

Great place to watch the sunset while you eat. Inside, outside, and balcony seating! I had the Mahi Mahi taco taco it was delicious. The Baja tacos are great too. Great place to be. Enjoy your time here!!

This was our fav place to go when pretending to be tourist but yesterday took friends for their first time and every staff member except the tall blonde at the deck bar was the most rude restaurant/bar staff ever. Big turn off, went somewhere else to spend our hard earned money.

We had a wonderful time at the beach with a lunch at Sharky's. The service was good, the food was okay. As you can see an the picture they are Pros in using the deep fryer. But overall -especially at nights with live music- a recommendation.

Needs paint and remodel inside. Poorly kept including duct tape. Food was.ok.
