Shapiro, DiCaro and Barak LLC Review

Never been able to speak with anyone besides the front desk, who s also extremely rude. I ve left countless messages but no one ever returns my calls. Beyond frustrating.

SHAPIRO, DICARO & BARAK, LLP MUST GO TO FEDERAL PRISON
Theoretically, an attorney well-versed in federal criminal law could make some bucks doing work for other inmates. Even an attorney who practiced in other areas could make some money if they put their mind to learning federal law (as some self-taught jailhouse lawyers have done).

I had a closing where I was the buyer and this LLC represented the seller. They did multiple things poorly: (1) The ABA Routing Number provided by them for a wire transfer did not correspond to the bank branch address which was also provided by them. This mismatch cost me two hours to investigate, and I had to specify a different branch. (2) Their paralegal refused to return my call on the day the money was wired. (3) Their realtor failed to show up for the closing, and was 1.5 hours late in delivering the key for the property.
In summary, if you can avoid this LLC, you should avoid them.

Was offered a closing date on a cash purchase property. On the day of closing,( after both my husband and I taking a day off ) I was told the paralegal had to take a half day the previous day and the closing may not happen. It was not until 1 pm, that a realtor (not our realtor) emailed saying it was impossible to close today.
I have called, no response, emailed , no response, I was told FEDEX would deliver documents... still waiting,,, no tracking number provided.
If you have a choice- choose a different attorney office!

Do not work for then, immature clicks...Reminded me of high school. If you want more of a mature work environment without micromanaging, look somewhere else!!!

Have done several short sale and REO deals with them. Can't say enough good about the team of Mario Arena and Anne Fischer as his paralegal. Always recommend them for this type of real estate

If I could give them zero starts, I would. Worst service ever. From the first phone call, to the last encounter nothing but rude and inconsiderate. Do not even waste your time with this company!!!!!

The worst company to deal with in the nation. It took them over 6 month after closing and my deed was still not recorded. The response time and how they handled the issue was horrible experience for me. I would highly recommend staying away from doing any business with this company.

excellent. spoke to Chad and he answered all of my questions. very helpful and insightful.

The had one of their untrained RE assistants (Katie) handling my closing, she threatened to charge unnamed extension fee and overall very closing costs as a percentage of the home price (over 10%!!!) If you have an option

Attorneys Kanellis and Arena along with their paralegal Anne have been nothing but AMAZING working with my buyers and sellers. They call the clients back, they communicate with me and the other agents and attorneys involved. I am relieved when I see their names on a contract, I know they will take care of the details.
