Location, value for money, room amenities, food, concierge, front desk and housekeeping are all superb.

Hotel staff in the front desk, concierge, cafe restaurant and housekeeping are well trained and well mannered.

Worth staying and would like to come back for another stay.

My stay was likely one of the best hotel experiences in my life. I brought my 7-year old son and asked the hotel staff to take care of him - they were able to organize a babysitter, upgrade us to a suite, and take care of all our needs. They were absolutely superb in all regards. A world-class experience! Thank you!!

Location is in a wealthy area. Close to one of the larger parks. My friend was staying there and we went to pick her up. Bell service was extremely attentive and friendly as you'd expect from a Shangri-La.

At C/I, I am very grateful to Veronica for helping us check in. Even if we arrived at the hotel in advance, we can still arrange the room for us without hesitation, and also noticed the remarks when booking, which responded very much to the guests. Good, the procedures are quick, and the service that a five-star hotel should have is delivered solidly. I also give Shangri-La a high rating.
I also thank doorman for helping us quickly transport luggage to the room, and also very intimately introduce the room, even when I enter and exit the door, I can call my name.
Looking back at the horizon club, from Sunday afternoon tea to happy hour in the evening, there are only two service staff, and they can't feel their service and enthusiasm, which is the most disappointing part of this stay.
But whether it is breakfast, afternoon tea, happy hour meals are above the standard, meals are also available at any time.
The room is very new and clean, and there is indeed a good turn down service. There is nothing mottled except for the paint on the washbasin in the room. There is really nothing to be curious about. There is only one small suggestion: try to avoid the Buddha cover under the bedside table as a Buddha image. It's better, otherwise it would be a little shocking to see it without knowing it.
Overall, although at this difficult time, your hotel still maintains the standard and quality that a five-star hotel should have, it will not be like other hotels because the price is now cheaper and the service is also discounted. This time there is indeed an unforgettable stay experience It is also expected that Shangri-La will continue to maintain and look forward to the next stay!

It saves so much time and appreciate the thought that guest might be tired from the trip and would want to settle in the fastest way

There was a misunderstanding of us last time, and it has been changed to 3 nights into 1 night, so we have stayed 3 nights again.
It is currently the first night, but this time we had a staff who can speak Japanese to follow the room check-in, so it is comfortable from check-in to the present.
All the points I pointed out last time have no problem, and I am staying at a high quality.
The Horizon Club Lounge is also delicious, with more food lined up than Tainan's Shangri-La.
This is a trip to enjoy the hotel stay, so I think that you can spend the rest comfortably.

I was looking forward to Singapore Shangri-La and Bangkok Shangri-la, as they were wonderful hospitality for a couple of families.
Taipei was a connecting room, so the wall was thin and the next room's voice and television sound was annoying and annoying.
Amenity, other Shangri-La was L'Occitane, but Taipei was disappointed with common amenity.
On the second day, it was the first time I had to stay in Shangri-la, with one bathrobe and two towels, still in use.

I have been staying with Far Eastern Plaza since its soft opening some 20 years ago. I used to come almost once every month before I retired a few years ago. Since then i still come a few times every year to see old friends and still staying at your hotel which is a home away from home. One main reason is the warmth of your staff and that I have know some of them for so long. For instance your concierge and staff at the Horizon Club and in particular Bella and Anita.

This was a great experience. From the moment their person met us at the airport to when the lady checked us in at our room to the moment their driver returned us to the airport everything was great. Great maid service, very nice room with a view of Taipei 101, everything was fantastic. Could not have asked for more.

Unparalleled service that goes above and beyond be...

Unparalleled service that goes above and beyond before, during, and after the stay! My family and I just spent a week at the Shangri-La Taipei while visiting relatives and were so impressed by the extremely high quality of service and amenities available to guests here. It truly felt like a home away from home--amazing given that it is located right in the middle of the bustling city of Taipei! The breakfast chef and his team outdid themselves with a fabulous buffet every breakfast. My girls loved the extraordinary rooftop pool and hot tub on the 43rd floor. Even the room service food was delicious, and served with pineapple cakes from the hotel's Cake Room bakery (I never got to try one since my girls would devour them as soon as they arrived).

The service was more accommodating than what we have experienced at hotels such as the Four Seasons, Intercontinental, and Grand Hyatt, and given the complexity of my family's needs (two young children and a variety of ages including my 70+ year old mother), that is saying a lot. They truly go above and beyond, and serve graciously and with a smile and a willingness to help no matter what the guest's need is (for example, I needed to use a computer in the business center at 4 AM and the overnight duty manager, Maximilien, came down himself to open the facilities, show me how to change the language on the computer to English, and offer helpful solutions for an issue I was experiencing that was unrelated to the hotel).

To cap it all off, at the last minute my extended family and I needed a special banquet arranged for 15 adults and 3 children and one of the front desk concierges, Oliver, worked tirelessly into the night to research the best location and food for our event the next day. In the end, information from outside of the hotel pointed to the hotel's own Shanghai Pavilion as offering the best food and location, with a private room with a lovely view of the city available. Their staff was kind enough to create a custom menu including special Shanghainese dishes cooked by a distinguished visiting chef from the region as well as vegetarian entrees for my family and dishes the children would happily eat--this was all arranged within an hour of the banquet start time since my family and I had a busy schedule of activities during the day. The staff decorated the room flawlessly including toys and balloons that kept the children entertained. The food was beautifully presented and truly delicious, and the service accommodating and attentive no matter the request (again, we are a very particular family and they really exceeded our expectations).

Thanks so much to the entire staff at the Shangri-La Hotel for creating an exceptional and memorable visit for me and my family, we hope to visit again soon!

I stayed in the hotel for almost 7 days and had a great experience during the whole stay. On my arrival I discovered I had been upgraded to an "Horizon Club" room which gives access to a lounge on the 36th floor with a more intimate breakfast room and access to drinks, snacks, newspapers and magazines during the whole day.
The room is very cozy and comfortable with very good wifi connection. Great relaxing bathroom with fantastic "L'Occitane" products.
As I had a very early plane, I booked the hotel Limo (5 AM) on my checkout and had two very good surprises: 1/ the limo has free Internet wifi 2/ they prepared a breakfast box with a hot coffee which I enjoyed on my way to the airport.

Strongly recommended!

Customer service great!
We checked in and realized it was a connecting room so there was a door in between the rooms but I didn t know what it was back then. Other than the weirdness of having a door that doesn t do anything in your room and directly connects to another stranger s room, we were able to hear the next door neighbor as they were quite loud.

Called the reception and they responded to change our room immediately although we had to wait in the same room until 17:00, not a problem at all.
Hotel gave us an upgrade during our stay and also wine.

Only recommendation is to well-informed the customers before they check -in, it wasn t too nice in the beginning.

Oh and the room cleaning service is from 9-17:00, be sure to kindly inform the customers this as well. We specially checked with the receptionist but this was not brought to our attention until we came back around 14:00 and the room was not cleaned yet, this could be nice to tell the guests too:)

Appreciate all the staffs and also the duty manager during the night shift - Tommy Lin for making our stay happier despite the confusions.

Will come back.

Really good hotel , very helpful staff upgraded us to primer room Horizon for lounge service free breakfast !! Happy hour service for 2 days had to pay 200$ worth it :) roof top pool is a must specially during sun set .. Buffet breakfast is great on the 36th floor horizon club cozy place .. Great staff .. Awesome view .. 6th floor breakfast lots of variety was a good time .. Definitely would come here again :))

Executive rooms are well appointed and comfortable with walk-in showers, separate bath, double vanity, and many amenities including mouthwash and loofahs. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Short/easy walk to MRT stations. Lots of coffee shops, quick-e marts, and eateries nearby. Attached mall opens at 11 with a great food court and bakery. I would recommend for personal/family holidays and restful business travel.

This Hotel is amazing. Every amenity you could want, and excellent service throughout my 21 day stay. The ONLY issue I had was that my shower drain got clogged at one point and it overflowed a little. However, the problem was resolved within an hour of me reporting the issue to the front desk.

I will definitely return the next time I'm in Taipei, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Reservations:

Made sure that I have the room that I requested before arrival. How I wish that I could advance my Payment before arriving to avoid problems with credit card approval for authorization.

Arrival Airport:
The Hotel Airporter service is excellent! The Gentleman who greeted us to lead us to our limousine was very warm and made sure we rode on the limousine with all our bags are with us.

Our Driver was very professional and very dignified. He addressed us very politely and made sure that we are connected with the WIFi on board.

Arrival Hotel:

Shirley the reception was very pleasant and showed us to our room where we checked in. Gave us 1,500NTD F&B food Credit

Housekeeping showed bringing all the beautiful flowers and a welcome amenity. Very nice!

Room Dining:
Marina our server is the Best! service with a Smile.

Concierge and Bell Service:

Very friendly gave us clear instructions around the Area and Shuttle. Rogelio Wu was very attentive and assisted us with our taxi Ride.

Kenneth the concierge sent me a message reminding me to pay for my limousine service back to the airport but my room in the Plaza Suite includes it. Lack of Communication!

Room:

Very Clean! We have everything that we need!
Surprised with a Birthday Cake for my Family.

Receptionist:

Tina was very friendly and speaks very good English. Made sure our late check out is good!

Sabrina, doesn t smile when being approached to have my keys for late check out reset.

Check out:
Jessie the receptionist insisted that I pay for the food I ordered via Room Service as she said it was not included with F&B.

I got upset with this as I already fully paid the day before and I was encouraged that I can enjoy the credits with In Room Dining which I did.

There was a breakdown in communication within your staff.

May Wu, the assistant front office manager assisted us to our limousine for our trip back to the airport.

Overall, I enjoyed it and will comeback in the near future.

Staff service attitude is excellent, the staff part mentioned two points in particular
1. When using breakfast at Marco Polo restaurant on the 38th floor on 6/21, when other tenants broke the porcelain bowl, the waiter immediately came to ask if the tenant was injured??!!
2. Because there is a large piece of black on the face of the child, there are 3 waiters at different times to ask how it is caused? Is it caused by the hotel facilities? Friendly and considerate, putting the safety of customers first

My all time favorite hotel in Taipei. The design of hotel is so classically oriental but not tacky. There are Song Dynasty style antique replica all around hotel. Service is always attentive while not intrusive. The room is so comfy and pick a room with view and is well worth the money! Go to the roof top pool where you get a fantastic view of the city including Taipei 101. The hotel is right next to Far Eastern Plaza Mall where there is s food court and supermarket. Across the street is the legendary EZ5 Live House where many Taiwanese Mando Pop singer started and discovered.

Hello, most of the service staff have a very good attitude. We have a very good holiday. The pool service is also very good. Although the water is slightly deep, it is not very suitable for children, but the scenery is first-class. Very user-friendly, detailed hotel. I really like it, every time I live here in Taipei. The location is very close to 101 and Eslite Dunnan store. There are many delicious restaurants on the second floor of the Far East Department Store. There are convenience stores and Starbucks in two minutes on foot. Tonghua Night Market is a 10-minute walk. The location did not have to say. Hotel hardware facilities are good, there are rooms that can overlook 101, hotel service is super enthusiasm, intimate, no smile of hotel service staff is from the heart. Highly recommended

Come experience the famous landmark hotel in Taipei today
We lived on the 35th floor and we found 101 by accident!
If you come here to spend the night in New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks, it should feel great
Although it is an old hotel, the decoration and equipment are well maintained
Low-key and simple with texture, very spacious
The room service meals were delicious and the staff were very kind and kind

The location is good, the vision is wide, and the condescending, looking at the entire city of Taipei. Especially in the open-air swimming pool on the 40th floor, the 360-degree view is really great!
The shopping center is conveniently located next door. There are many delicious restaurants in the hotel. We tasted the Japanese cuisine of the Michelin two-star Japanese chef, and the friends praised them! There are snack bars and supermarkets downstairs, which is too convenient.
