Recommend without hesitation for any tailoring work! Carolyn and the Sew on Set team did the alterations for my wedding dress and my husband s suit. Both fit like a glove and Carolyn ensured the work was perfect and we were happy. I had requested cups be sewn into my dress, then changed my mind once I saw them in, but they took them out and did additional alterations at no extra charge. The turn around is fast and the price is good, especially for such quality. We ve been taking our clothes to Sew on Set for a while now, and will continue to do so!

Quality! I found carolyn and Sew On Set on-line. I needed a last minute hem on a lined silk dress for a wedding in one day. She was responsive by text and so since. Reasonable prices and they even ironed the dress for me. I wish I lived nearby- because this would be my go-to. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Miami area.

Excellent work, reliable service, pleasant atmosphere. I've had three very complicated top designer garments altered here. Two were complicated due to the fabric. The third was due to the fact the pants were two sizes too big. In each case, the work was perfect. In fact, the pants are the best fitting pants I own. In each case, the work was delivered on the date promised or before. I would trust any garment to her.

I had a button come off during the middle of the work day and looked up the nearest tailor and randomly popped in to see if anything could be done. Carolyn offered to assist immediately and within minutes the shirt was fixed! I hope to bring her all of my tailoring needs in the future as she was very friendly, professional, and extremely understanding.

Started using Caroline s service two years ago. I have them alter from the most simple task like hemming to the more complicated work on my formal wears. I trust them with a wide variety of clothes, from a pair of other ordinary jeans to my Hermes jackets. The owner, Caroline, has an impeccable record in the fashion industry. Her team of seamstresses are talented and professional. Caroline always does fitting by herself. Regarding pricing, they are probably a little more than the lady at the cleaner across the street, but not more than what the Macy would have charged for altering clothes you buy from them. All in all, I m totally happy with Caroline s service.

I had a great experience with this tailoring shop near by. The team of seamstresses and tailors finished my Gucci dress and my husband 's Tom Ford suit the same day, since we were leaving on a cruise early the next morning. The suit was complicated with a lot of hand sewing and functional buttonholes. The Tom Ford Store recommended Sew on Set Tailor because they are so skilled and do such quality work so quickly. My beaded gown needed to be taken in at the sides and hemmed. They had three seamstresses working on it at the same time to get it done for our trip. Everything came out perfect and they were so professional. They did charge a rush fee, but it was totally worth it. We had a great time at the captain's ball! I've been working with Caroline and Sew on Set for 2 years. I am an official regular now! I have clothing with complex materials such as lace or sheer, and she is able to tailor and fit it perfectly to my body without ruining it. I also buy vintage clothes that is one-of-a-kind and I wouldn't dare trust it with a simple alterations place. Caroline never messes up. She is the absolute BEST in the business and a true professional! She is very well known in the Miami Beach and Design District area as she works on lots of tv shows, fashion shows, theater, plays, etc. I highly recommend her for any tailoring & alterations, especially if you care about your clothes, like ME, and can't afford to toss it out and buy a new one.

I went to Sew on Set for my wedding dress and had a great experience. I was initially nervous because when i spoke to Carolyn on the phone, she seemed very monotone and unenthusiastic, but i decided to go anyway because the online reviews were so good. She must've just been really tired or busy that day, because in person she was very sweet and the team did a great job taking in my dress from a size 10 to a 2. The work they did was wonderful and their prices were so reasonable!

Be sure to tell her if you think you may lose or gain weight between the fitting and the wedding, because that made a big difference in my dress and it fit so well on my wedding day!

Also, they have residential parking passes in the store so parking shouldn't be a problem.

I needed to get the patches on my son's JROTC jacket replaced, and they did a wonderful job. The women were very friendly and welcoming. The work was very quick and clean. Loved it. I will definitely use their service again.

I was so pleased to receive a great mask made from bamboo. It fit so well and is super comfortable. Carolyn was so nice and easy to communicate with. The mask was ready very quickly and I was able to drive by and pick it up. Highly recommend! Besides masks Carolyn is well known in the film and entertainment business for being a true professional and a talented artist.

First time I came here I knew I'd come back. The nicest, quickest, best service around. They can do all sorts of things, always worth asking. Was surprised they would stylishly tear up my jeans for me!

Initially I gave this business a glowing review because of my first experience which ended up positive. I trusted this business with a suit that cost a pretty penny. The pants were cut to short and show were the length in the arms. I can go on and on but it was honestly the sloppiest work I had ever seen. What bothered me the most was the lack of concern and professionalism done by the owner. No customer should ever have to dispute clear issues especially when it involves a merchants craft. If I could you an analogy for this experience it would be the same as ordering a medium rare porterhouse and it come out resembling a deep fried pork chop

I love the quality of work. I had a really good experience with the process from start to finish. It was a little pricey though but you do get what you pay for.

They fixed and made changes on my wedding dress and they did good i have no complains about it. The one thing that did upset me is that when i asked her how much everything would be she said $300 and i agreed to that price since i needed a few changes in my wedding dress. what i did not noticed was that on the receipt she wrote $400 and when it was time to pay she expected the $400 and even had the indecency to say thats the price she had told me. I went with it because i was 3 days away from my wedding day and i didn't want more stress. At the end i paid $500 in total because to have it steamed it was $100.00 my advise to everyone is check your receipt and don't go alone so if she changed prices you have witness.

Omg I can't say enough about Sew on Set Tailor! I was in a crunch the day of a wedding and needed my bridesmaid dress altered, Carolyn and her partner, and I apologize because I can't remember his name, saved the day. They provided excellent customer service and had my dress ready in 2 hours. I highly recommend this company and am eternally grateful for them coming through in a pinch.

Horrible experience! Took 2 of my dresses to get fixed. I picked up the dress and only checked the part thatw as supposed to be fixed, when I got to wear it on my vacation to the special night i noticed it was damaged, and when I tried to ask how is this possible, the owner lady was very rude and said it came like this. Hello, dress was with the price tag! It was new!
Another dress needed the cut on the bottom since it was a little too tight so they did it, but when I put the dress on right before going out, the part just got turn apart. Like what kind a job is that?! Super unprofessional and lacking costomer service! Plus prices are way too high especially for what you get! Very bad won't recommend to anyone! Stay away!

Carolyn is an expert tailor! This is my second time using her services and each time the process was a breeze and the outcome was beyond great. Whether a simple alteration or a custom vision, she knows how to make it happen beautifully.

I recently lost some weight and I needed my suits tailored. I searched for the best tailor to get my alterations done quickly. I had 3 Hugo Boss,1 Brioni and 2 Armani suits to be taken in. She fitted the jackets to come in at all three seams in the back and took the pants in at the waist. What really modernized them was that she tapered the legs and shortened the body and sleeves of the jackets. These suits were quite an investment and Carolyn knew how to tailor them perfectly and made them last for a while longer.

I just moved from Chicago to Miami and brought with me a large wardrobe of Chicago Ready clothing. I invested a lot into my wardrobe especially my long sleeve button down shirts by Robert Graham, Thomas Pink, Hugo Boss, etc. one thing I learned really quick was that long sleeves don t work in Miami so I looked for a tailor to see if they could convert these shirts into short sleeve shirts. I thought it was an odd request but I called Sew on Set Tailor and they didn t even flinch. I drive over there, she took my measurements and I handed her about 16 long sleeve shirts. The results EXCEEDED my expectations. The shirts were so professionally converted even down to the details of the material being moved from the cuff of the long sleeve shirt to the outside of the shirt sleeve. Truly remarkable work. This is my go to tailor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Ayla has been amazing with my thermals- so happy with them! I decided to try a Keratin treatment as a maintenance step, hoping to improve the overall health of my hair (though the thermals make it silky smooth, it is still chemical) and extend the life of my thermal. Too early to tell if it will extend the life of my thermal, but it is certainly making the normal growout maintenance non-existent. My hair feels great all over and I no longer have frizzy roots. I have super curly hair so that is saying something! Using my sulfate free shampoo and excited to see how long it lasts. Thank you again Ayla!

Well i just got my first suit, the staff on sew on tailor are amazing! Caroline has a magical eye! As soon as she saw me wearing the suit she spotten the fact that the dents on my shoulder in the suit where cause by an accident! I mean really, thats what i call eagle eye! can't wait to see the finish product! She knows what she is doing! I would tell all guys who want to look flawless to go and get all your off the rack suits tailored to perfection!!!

She was able to alter every part of each clothing item the way I wanted An was even able to do the original stitching!
