Dr. Miyagi was my personal doctor from 2013 to 2021. He should not be a doctor! I had lost 70 pounds of weight on my own in 2017, to get rid of my diabetes (the clinic wasn't helping me). At first Dr. Miyagi bragged on me, but then as 90% of people do who've lost a bunch of weight, I gained it all back a year later, but he criticized me as I was gaining weight, even calling me "obese," which depressed me and I even cried. He should have helped guide me to someone in their dietician department to help me, instead of criticizing me. Dr. Miyagi is abusive! He was paranoid that I was going to overdose and die on the pain drugs he was prescribing to me for over 7 years. For a few years (since 2017) he continually implied that I was going to commit suicide. I kept complaining about his verbal abuse to the supervisor and the Medical Director, but they did nothing. The abuse continued. Dr. Miyagi had his nurse ask me 2 weeks before Christmas in 2019 if I was considering suicide. It was creeping me out, having my doctor put dark thoughts of killing myself into my head on a regular basis. I shared what was going on with my family members, because Dr. Miyagi was filling my mind with thoughts of self harm. It wasn't until I had finally had enough after 4 years of Dr. Miyagi's cruel mental abuse, that in late 2020 I complained to Rose in the front office, and she had the Risk Assessment Department contact me, and thank God they removed that quack as my doctor. Thank you Rose! Then the clinic gave me Dr. Arnott, who was the best doctor I ever had. Avoid Dr. Miyagi at all cost, because he has zero bedside manners. In hindsight, I regret that I tolerated his mental abuse for so long. You'd think the supervisor or medical director would have stepped up and did something, but they didn't.

Also, Ken (the head pharmacist) called me on the phone one day to tell me that they couldn't get my OxyContin. I kindly asked why. He said it was too expensive for the SDA Guam Clinic. I tried to get more information, but he said, verbatim: "Why should our clinic lose money on you?" That was very rude, uncalled for and unprofessional. I complained to the clinic supervisor about his attitude and mean words, but I don't know if anyone ever talked to him. After 8 years that I went to the clinic, I concluded that they are a religious group trying to run a medical clinic, but they really don't know what they are doing. They are VERY disorganized.

Having said all that, I also met some very sweet people who worked at the clinic. Dr. Arnott was the best doctor I ever had. I only wish I could have had him as my doctor years earlier. Sadly, I was mentally abused by Dr. Miyagi for 7 miserable years! The clinic has some weird system that I've never seen before. After every visit (even for regular patients), for any appointment, procedure or lab test, you MUST check out at the front window. If you forget they penalize you with a $50 charge. Every other clinic I've ever been in automatically billed my insurance. I don't think they treat their patients very well with that bullying type of system.

I have been coming here for 30 plus years. Monday, October 29th, my 5 year old had his yearly physical. He saw Dr. Miyagi who spent less than 20 minutes with us and didnt check him completely nor discuss any of the wellness questions with us. The problem is that not only didnt he check him completely and only seemed to be checking his watch, I told Dr. Miyagi he had been sick with fever and throwing up. He said no fever now and didnt get it that i gave him fever meds. I actually had to ask him to check my son. He was out of touch with my sons needs, in a rush and didnt do his job sending my 5 year home sick. MY SON DIED. 2 DAYS LATER.
To add insult to injury, we brought my son back the following day and was seen in urgent care by a Physician assistant Ethan Snider. He told us we needed to go the hospital and threatened us with the police. He refused to give us a written refferal, didnt check the computer that we were there the day before and didnt ask for a real doctor to step in.
After my son passed, we met with the medical director to complain and he said he would investigate. We never heard back from him.
I also reviewed the records there of my son. Dr Miyagi must have doctored his records as he didnt do anything he claims in a lousy 20 mins. My kid was sick, why didnt you order a CBC at least.

The establishment has both medical and dental services. Call ahead to make an appointment, especially for dental services. It's the Guam Seventh-Day Adventist Clinic... or Guam SDA Clinic (short name).

A completely poor service by one of thier Dentist. Came in for a check up for my son. Lee guy walks in and "Hey Whats up?" Totally unprofessional voice and goes on to lecturing us on how bad sugar is..basically saying sugar is coccain and you're giving it to your son! He did not even attempt to take any further look and perform his job properly and said well thats it..jobs done! Totally not satify with his way of practice so I would not even waste my time again with this guy LEE. Totally unprofessional and poor service provider.

Update: So someone had called me back and said they d get me my paperwork out that day! So thankful for this woman.

I work odd hours and wasn't able to come in to request medical records. Kept calling and leaving messages with business and the staff asking for my records but no call back. Finally came in and promised it would be done tomorrow, the day of my flight, since I had been waiting long. Nothing came in and I called only to be told that I would need to wait 3 - 5 business days to get it. Not helpful at all.
