Called this company after Hurricane Matthew and they wouldn't even answer the phone. When I finally got a hold of someone 2 days later they wouldn't come give me an estimate without charging me for it, knowing the insurance company would pay for it, but they wanted it up front. Even though they obviously deal with insurance companies regularly they had no knowledge of the claims process and I was specifically told by a representative, "We don't work with insurance companies." I was told I would be given a call back by service technician and more than a week later he/she has still not called. I called Paul Davis Restoration of Beaufort/Jasper and Mr. Anthony Phillips viewed my property the same day with no charge and began demo work the following day. Servepro did not seem eager for business, knowledgeable of the process, forthcoming with information, or empathetic. Servepro not recommended.

Servpro did a fantastic job on my bathroom and ceiling repair. Their service and quality of work was great! We called them when we hired the WRONG people for a remodel. Servpro s team came and took care of everything! Will definitely hire them for any future jobs! Everyone was very nice, knowledgeable and caring! Five star company, owners and employees!

Moved back into our homes after a house fire 11 months ago and this company still has t finished the job! They lie, don t come when they say they are, and can be completely horrible when it comes to customer service. Do yourself a favor and look for a different company that does restoration. This place is a complete joke!

The head of this location of Servpro threatened me, while I was sitting down stood over me, puffed out his chest and consistently threatened violence. He did this simply because I asked questions he didn't want to have to answer.

For instance refusing to answer what chemical he would be using to treat a home. This is a health and safety violation he wouldn't even tell the owner of the home. Or when asked for his certifications he replied "Don't get up in my certifications."

He even got in the owners face who is a short female whos only concern is for her family and all she wants to know is how to keep them safe.

This branch is a joke and should be avoided at all costs.

If it was available I would give this operation a NEGATIVE 10 star rating!
Dealing with this ServPro of Beaufort Co. franchise has been the most unsatisfactory experience I have ever had working with a service provider. I am a former owner of a successful small business and know something about how you treat customers is the key to sustainable success. I can't figure out whether this operation is completely incompetent or just doesn't care about customers, service delivery or outcomes. I can't believe they are still in business. I began dealing with them in August to handle coordination of recovery/restoration of our household goods damaged in a moving van fire while it was in-transit. They were to coordinate work with a ServPro franchise in Louisiana where the damaged goods were located. The Louisiana provider was smooth, efficient and competent. We worked with them on-site and they got the goods packaged and sent via PODS to South Carolina for cleaning and restoration. Once the goods reached the ServPro of Beaufort County operation the problems began. There was no sense of urgency. In almost every instance commitments made were not met. Cleaning and delivery schedules were not met. There was extreme difficulty in getting a response from them. Messages left were ignored; there was no communication or followup by them if a deadline was not going to be met. Our goods left with them were supposed to be in secure warehouse. As it turns out some were stolen (to their credit they did replace them with new items). But they did not tell me that until I insisted on picking them up uncleaned. Some goods to be cleaned were delivered looking as if they have not been cleaned at all. We subsequently did our own cleaning so we know cleaning was possible. It is now November, 3 months into the process, and we still have not received some goods they sent to a 3rd party for cleaning 2 months ago. The Operations manager or the President/Owner seem never to be available or reachable and messages left for them to call are ignored. I finally gave up and fired them. I personally went to their operation to pick up the remaining goods we were waiting on cleaning and delivery. I was assured they would be ready for me at a time agreed. They were not. One high value rug it turns out had been delivered to another client in another state. And when they promised to retrieve the rug and deliver it to us by a certain date/time they missed that deadline. I have never been invoiced for work done. I have communicated to the person I was dealing with I won't pay until I have a conversation with the President so I can relate my experience with his company. I have left multiple messages with no response. My last message was that if the President doesn't call me within a day my next call will be to the President of ServPro at Corporate headquarters. I have communicated to my Insurance company our experience with this company and have recommend they advise their customers to never use this company. IF YOU NEED RECOVERY/RESTORATION SERVICES I RECOMMEND YOU FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER.

USAA customer. No IDEA how they ended on USAA's preferred vendor list, and it's a poor reflection on USAA that they refer customers to these guys. They told us a 1 month restoration after a fire... Didn't start working on the home for 3 weeks, and then only sent guys 1-2 days a week for about 4 hours a day. 5 months later my home still isn't complete. HORRIBLE workmanship.. I had to follow behind them like a mother scolding a small child...damaged walls, $2000 of damaged furniture on their behalf, paint peeling off doors and trim, painted over my light fixtures, towel bars, etc. Lied about ordering flooring and paint on time, and when they were confronted tried to blame it on vendors. POOR workmanship. Poor accountability. Insurance fraud (charged USAA $1900 to repaint custom murals in my nurseries... except I repainted them....something that was agreed upon from the get-go). Move-in day came and my home was poorly painted, and a window was still broken (I have two very young children). My kitchen cabinets were never fully emptied and cleaned from the fire, and my house was never fully cleaned prior to move in. They left hundreds of boxes stacked all over rather than unpack as per their contract. It took over a month to get the house back in order. When I began pushing back regarding the poor service and quality, I was extorted and told they wouldn't complete the work if I didn't meet THEIR demands. Bullied me into signing documents saying the home was complete when it was nowhere close. If a home fire wasn't bad enough, these guys added total insult to injury.

Oh, and one of their guys stole a $100 piggy bank from my toddler. All of his Christmas and Birthday money, his whole little life. Pathetic.

I will never forget walking back into my house about 15 mins. after I had turned my very expensive dish washer on to find myself wading in water on the wide pine floors. The water hose had exploded. I was able to contact Servpro, in no time they came with an army of people and machines to the rescue! I met such a organized young woman named Andrea who would be in charge of my life and return to perfect the total job, the drying process, water suction machines, the drying fans everywhere, the carpets removal and drying, furniture removal, insulation under the house gone and replaced,
contacting Specialty Flooring who came, removed cupped boards and replaced them with an exact match and refinished the whole area better than before the catastrophe happened! Kudos to them also. While I would never want anyone to go thru the drama of a dishwasher disrupting a persons life, if it does what ours did, Servpro will certainly make the easiest way to return to life like it never happened!
