I wish I could give 10 stars. We were passing through town when our Camper started smelling and then smoking. We stopped at the closest gas station and ran into Jacob. He asked us if we needed help as he conveniently works as a mechanic close by. We went to the shop so he could take a look where we also met Mike. They were so friendly and helpful and we couldn't be more appreciative! Fixed our problem in a few minutes and had us back on the road. Even gave us their numbers in case we have issues further down the road and said they could hook us up with a mechanic in the area. If we're ever in Asheville and in need of some service we will definitely see these guys!
I have used RLC for several projects. The work is done in a timely manner and works are professional. I will continue to use them.
Great service. I've used RLC Service Group before to install exterior doors and storm doors, repair damage to my porch and they did a great job. Didn't know until recently that they did heating & AC maintenance so hired them for that. Josh came and was prompt, professional and pleasant - and very knowledgeable. I bought the yearly maintenance agreement and am confident that my equipment is ready for the winter and next spring.
We had RLC Service Group come to our home to repair the Leach line on our septic tank. Ten days later they had to return to do a repair 8" from the original crack. A week later we called them to come back the Leach line was still leaking the company refused to come back because we questioned the bill from the second visit. We hired a fantastic company that came and said the original visit and the second visit from RLC produced some of the worst sewer line work they had ever seen. The Health Department Inspector said the same when she arrived on the property and stated that she herself was going to contact the owner of RLC to describe the work that was done and how substandard it was duct tape and all!!! Please do yourself a favor and move on to another company with better customer service and full proof workmanship. We paid over $800.00 to RLC for very poor work without any resolution to the problem. It is a shame that companies like this can stay in business.
I have used them in the past and I had a good experience with them but after this last time I will not use them again. They are very shady on their working and dealings. They said that they told me over the phone they would have a service charge to be able to give me an estimate on work (which I do not remember). When I had work done on my house in the past there wasn't a service charge for an estimate. After that I had to go with someone else because it took them a week after tracking them down to say it would take a month to be able to get a leaking pipe fixed. After that I did not hear from them for 2 months until they send me a invoice saying that if I did not pay they were going to send it to collections. In the past 2 months, I had not received a phone call or email about anything. Unfortunately I did not have a change to argue with this due to having only 3 days to pay the bill before it was sent to collections and right before the holidays. I will never use them again.
Saturday afternoon emergency and had it fixed by 7pm.
As the owner of a local vacation rental firm, managing over 100 properties, (Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals), we need a licensed firm that is ready and responsive 24/7/365, and able to deliver the level of customer service that we ourselves demand.
RLC and their team do exactly that, and cover a wide array of specialty fields; electrical, plumbing and more. They stand behind their work, and are willing to roll-up their sleeves to find affordable and creative solutions. Overall just a solid company, with dependable and honest workers, delivering a consistent and high level of customer service.
We were traveling near Asheville and our truck broke down pulling our camper. The RV park listed their telephone number for this company as an after-hours contact. We called and the gentlemen offered that if a wrecker could get us to the RV park, he would help us from the front parking lot to our site. The was very friendly and helped us out. The next morning we get a call from their office stating that we owe $250 by the end of the day for the "towing service" they performed; pulling us less than 200 yards! The owner even called that afternoon and threatened to come to the RV and collect if we did not pay up by the end of the day and refused to provide an invoice or any type of documentation that we could give to our insurance company. Another review stated they have "shady" business practices...I say it is an understatement. They will obviously take advantage of you if you are from out of town and in a bind. After RVing for years, I have never encountered such a "service" or company. BEWARE and STAY AWAY!
Worked with this company to deal with a rather involved, time-consuming issue. Was pleased with their attentiveness and professionalism and would recommend them based on my experience
Charged $139 to do a pressure test that took two minutes. Got charged for 30 minutes of chatting with other workers. Company said their GPS determined they were on job site that long. I believe it was complete BS!
Amazing service. Helped us out when we were dead in the water with our RV.
Hired to build a porch on single family home couple of months ago. took them 1 month to finish it it was terrible! Un-level wobbling when you walked. Within 2 weeks of it being done some wood was lifting up! Just a terrible job for 2 thousands. Tried to contact them at the end of all of this and a Ricky man who I assume is the owner, told me they would not even come look at the issue it was not his problem now horrible customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND SAVE YOUR MONEY!
