Food was excellent. I think however we mistakenly got the fawlty towers waiting experience! Missed items, spilled water on legs, still water masquerading as sparkling.

Had the most beautiful high tea here. Every little item on the tower was amazing and there was almost too much! (Which never happens with standard high teas). My favourite was the black Forrest mouse cake

The French sparkling was also supposed h a treat, we lost count how much we had before we swapped to tea. When they say bottomless they didn't skimp on it!

But most of all the lady serving us was the highlight! Mimi was so friendly, relaxed and professional. She made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to come back again!

I came here for my birthday and the service was beyond amazing and food tasted even better. Unfortunately one of the waiters dropped some sauce on me by accident and he felt so bad that they wavered the whole bill. Overall I felt the experience was amazing and I would definitely come back.

Liked the location, the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. Also liked the flexibility to make changes to the menu. Food wasn't that great so dropped a few stars.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and great service. Starter was disappointing, simply not for my taste. However, enjoyed salmon as main course and dessert was amazing.

Salmon was the best I ve ever had, service was great as well, definitely recommend

Good beer on tap. Had a few nibbles that were very well done.

We enjoyed a lovely evening, Brie and roast potato dish and Chicken Caesar Salad, beautifully done and presented.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and service at Sentinel. Would highly recommend the Chateaubriand, Pork Croquettes, and Salted Caramel Panna Cotta. Excellent wine list to go with any choice. The Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection.

What a lovely little corner bar, tucked away on St Georges Terrace....we had the bottomless Sparkling Wine High Tea, and trust me our glasses were never empty...the service was amazing, could not fault our host Francois. The food was tasty and fresh, which included the most amazing chocolate mousse. Great food, great service, highly recommended.

Food was really lovely. Recommend octopus entree and steak for main. A bit short of service. Not enough waitors/waitresses at Friday night. Had to wait long to get someone when the restaurant is full

Am a regular and would normally give a 4 out of 5. Tonight I ate the eye fillet - meat was delicious and cooked to perfection but I think the accompanying sides were a let down. Nothing hand cut or special about the chips, pepper sauce was average and not enough and salad had no imagination. Still recommend this place The spinner crab pasta is always a must.

The Ribeye was tasty & cooked perfectly. Happy hour wine prices and overall value very good. Service is also very good, casual and efficient but very engaged. Highly recommended

One of the best restaurants in Perth I have ever been to. I had the beef carpaccio and beef tartare for main and was in absolute heaven. The waiters were extremely friendly and professional. Partner and I agreed this is the new favourite!

I would always walk past this restaurant and it was always packed so I thought I might try it.
I dined in on a Saturday night, the only thing I can commend on is the prompt service and the popcorn espresso martini.
The beef carpaccio was edible, the octopus smelt and taste really bad (I love octopus so there was definitely something wrong here, did not smell fresh at all and was rubbery) I only managed to eat a quarter of the truffle risotto, it was quite tasteless.
Much better restaurants just down the road won't be returning.

Edit after response: it was not the dressing on the octopus, it smelt and taste off while it was overcooked, I could not chew it.

At 4.2/5 on Google reviews, in a city where many restaurants are easily 4.5 and above, you can well expect some extent of scepticism and doubt before we arrived. But it was our last night in Perth and after hiking for 5 hours in the day, we were hungry for steak and Sentinel was just convenient for us.
Long story short, couldn't have picked a better place to end our trip. Food was fantastic, medium rare ribeye was a tad under but still very good. Complimentary bread. House wines were good and paired well with our meat. And most importantly, the service was impeccable. Despite entering the restaurant dressed in hiking pants and muddy thick boots, we were served like first class customers. Quality of food is typically more important to us than service ever needs to be. But if this is what you can get while still getting top notch food, I'd say we've been utterly spoilt by the team here.

Attentive staff and fabulous food with bartenders that clearly know their stuff. An enjoyable evening was had by all :)

Amazing dinner,when I booked online it asked if it was for a special occasion. Dessert that we ordered came out with a sparkler and happy birthday chocolate which made the night very special.

God place to catch a few friends for a few drinks or a light dinner.

A nice high-end restaurant with a hidden terrace and modern design in the very heart of the Perth CBD. It s a great place for meat-lovers. However, steaks are a bit small, so consider ordering an extra salad. Main food choices for vegans are limited to a GF risotto. The service is on a top level.

Great spot for business especially. Might be a little sterile for leisure, but smart and classy venue with great food. If you don't like pasta you may find it a little limited but otherwise great. Best to book.

interesting and tasty food but the service on Saturday night was a joke - its started poor and deteriorated. It's not normally like that especially during business hours, bit of a shock. maybe it's a one off.

Went there for company Xmas party. Steak meal consisted of a very small steak and about 20 chips served on a board ! Someone else had vegies that tastes like an ashtray.

We were there for dinner. The ribeye steak I had was really good. It was juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. The chips and salad that accompanied the steak were so sad in contrast but overall was good. The service, however, was fantastic, the staff was patient and attentive.

After a nice meal in Perth and don't mind spending between $24-$40 a plate then you're in for a nice treat, this place has good specials, well presented and interesting food.
The bread offered on the table is moreish and served warm.
The pasta is fresh and served aldente (loved the pappardelle veal).

The bar is open at all sorts of hours but they only start seating for lunch at midday. Be quick as they often run out of places especially later in the week. Also any pasta dish can be out in around 10-15 minutes so good for a quick bite during a work day.

Impressed by the entrees. Relatively expensive but food and service matched the price. Extensive drinks list is a plus.

Me and my work colleague had lunch there today, we had the lamb burger and it was amazing! The service was probabaly the best ive experienced in Perth. I have had a going away party there before in the outdoor courtyard and will do it again. I normally dont write reviews but was so happy with the service and food i had to extend my gratitude!

The staff are brilliant and the food and drinks were spot on. Couldn't fault the place. We eat keto and the chef could adapt to that. Loved it!

Very crowded, very loud. Food was OK, but limited to a set menu with not a lot of choice. Service was good, but a little slow.
I would try again if they move to an unrestricted menu.

This is quite a nice bar and the food and drinks are pretty good. I found the service average. Prices are ok for the city. I really enjoyed the octopus and prawn share plates.

Conviently located pub, great atmosphere and reasonable beer selection. Happy hour is 5-6pm (at time of posting)

Really easy to book online. Parking was easy due to the wonders of Secure Parking Perth.

Food was great! We ve had the Australian Oysters (both natural and with red wine vinegarette). Very fresh and tasted amazing. $3.5 a piece but worth the money as I am not a big fan of oysters and have enjoyed it greatly.

I ve eated the rib eye steak with the pepper sauce with chips and salad. The presentation may be improved to look a lot more enticing, I may say, but very flavourful anyhow. Seasoned very well. I ordered it medium rare although the steak leaned more to the rare side than the medium so I found myself picking the more cooked parts due to my lazy attitude to ask for a quick reheat.

Ordered the chocolate cake for desert. Very rich and sweet as expected so great thing we ordered coffee. Beautifully presented and the bits of prailine made it an extra treat.

A bit understaffed as we had to wait a while for us to pay off our bill. Overall it was great and would gladly bring the fam over for dinner there again.

Been using this bar for many years, its well located and the servoce excellent. It isn't cheap but the price reflects quality.

I've had quite a few lunches, coffees and a few too many wines here. The food is always good, well prepared, well presented and delicious.

Good food and location, a bit pricey and portions could be a bit bigger

Very good environment and food. Service is good but slow. One hour lunch took two hours to finish. Not the fault of service personnel but the kitchen.

Good beef. Everyone ordered the RibEye and they told us they ran out. 5 min later they found some...thank God.!
