At 4.2/5 on Google reviews, in a city where many restaurants are easily 4.5 and above, you can well expect some extent of scepticism and doubt before we arrived. But it was our last night in Perth and after hiking for 5 hours in the day, we were hungry for steak and Sentinel was just convenient for us.
Long story short, couldn't have picked a better place to end our trip. Food was fantastic, medium rare ribeye was a tad under but still very good. Complimentary bread. House wines were good and paired well with our meat. And most importantly, the service was impeccable. Despite entering the restaurant dressed in hiking pants and muddy thick boots, we were served like first class customers. Quality of food is typically more important to us than service ever needs to be. But if this is what you can get while still getting top notch food, I'd say we've been utterly spoilt by the team here.
