My grandmother was at this place and they let her sit all not in a soaking wet bed and pad (she is handicap) she would press the button but no nurse would come. Then my grandmother fell out of her wheelchair and got hurt very bad and all the stories of them telling us how it happened keeps changing now she is in the hospital again the 2nd time she has been since being in this place they would hardly check her blood sugar which one day was 72,They also kept giving her medication that she did not want and made her really out of it. The whole place smells like pee and they do not care about anyone in the building they just care about their paychecks....do not go to this place if you want to live.

My mother entered Senior Suites after a stay in the hospital. She was there for physical rehab. Help was hard to find. It felt like they were always dodging calls for help. The kicker for me was the countless health problems my mother endured while there. And the lack of help or knowledge from the staff. And the unwillingness to have tests done in a timely manner. Although she couldn't walk, they wanted me to remove her due to her not progressing in rehab. She couldn't progress because she was going septic due to a urinary tract infection that was not handled in a timely manor. Thank God we got her to the hospital in time.

My mother went there for physical rehab after a fall that cause a small stroke. She was talking and everything before she entered this facility. Then my mother would call me many times daily on how they left her in her wet briefs and dirty briefs (with bm) and lost and stole many of her clothing which we still have not found or gotten back. She would tell me and my dad that she hardly saw the PT people amd was barely even taken out of the room for activities they had. I called and spoke to the DON and complained about things and they seemed to get worse after this. Then they sent her to the hospital with problems the first time due to they said a fall on a carpet floor but the facial injuries told a different story. After a short stay at the hospital, she was returned to the nursing home and she got worse. My dad would see her daily and was not happy with how they did not do the things they were required to do. He would press the call light (which was always hidden from my mother's reach) and waited for a long time for anyone to come. He would look at his watch at pressing and once someone finally came to help. It was a long time between and several times they would come in the room and turn off the call light saying they would return in a moment but NEVER return until my dad would go and track them down often finding them around the nurse station talking and laughing. I told my dad how things are to be in a nursing facility because I AM A NURSE MYSELF. I was very disappointed in the care my mother received there. And then the final straw came when they had to rush my mother to the hospital again after another fall. They told my dad she fell outside of rehab but her roommate said that was a lie that she fell just inside the doorway to their room and hit her head on the sink cabinet. As a nurse, I know neuro checks are supposed to be done but they did not do them. Later that night they called my dad said she was found very confused and almost unresponsive and rushed her to the ER....she is still in the hospital. She was unresponsive and moaning in pain. My mom was a verbal and moving person before being placed in this nursing facility but after a few weeks she is left with very little she can not move, has no voice, barely awaken, being fed by a nasal tube, and close to passing. I would do research before placing a loved one here. I would question things and be very visible if you do.

This place is not a good place for mom or dad to go to for any type of rehabilitation. It says it is a skilled nursing facility but nothing about that place is skilled. My mom went there for therapy for 20 days but that turned into 31 days leaving her to pay out of pocket 160 $ a day that went over 20 days. They didn't have a care plan or discharge date. They wanted to get her on medicade and that meant her staying long term. It was a horrible experience for all of us trying to get mom discharge. I have one thing the nurse that brought her out was the only awsome thing about Senior Suites

We are very involved with the care of our parents. The people were very kind, caring, and went above and beyond. Tasha spent an extraordinary amount of time removing bandages from my mothers arm from a brutal amount of time from dialysis and even went, so far, as to put a "kit" comprised of certain types of bandages to take with her to dialysis. We are thankful for her. The attitude of caring exhibited by her was pervasive throughout the facility.

My mother was there for the Rehabilitation Service and proved to be a fractious patient for US ALL, yet they remained kind and caring and were patient with my aging father that has begun to show signs of dementia.

Thank you, so very much for being such kind and compassionate people. We are so very grateful to you.

Some of the staff = GR8

Others = DEFINITELY NOT.
U KNOW WHO U ARE & should be ashamed of yourselves

One place to judge a facility is how they treat their employees. I ve seen first hand how cold and callous administration is towards the people employed at Senior Suites and to be honest it is unsettling. Looks truly are deceiving.

I cant really say anything about this place, I was just visiting. From what I seen the place looked nice upon entering and no nasty smell like at some nursing homes. The people seem nice but whether they care about the patients I do not know.

If I could give Senior Suites less than one star I would, because they definitely do NOT deserve even that. I witnessed how poorly they treat the elderly there. They took absolutely deplorable care of my grandfather. The elderly are not people to them. My grandfather was just pushed in a corner of a room and left there. They didn't care to get him to his dr appointments, so they were missed. They didnt care to put his food in front of him so he could eat it( he cant get to it on his own),they didnt care to bathe him, they left him in the dinning hall to femd for himself to get back to his room. He has dementia, and no strength whatsoever. So big surprise he fell out of that wheel chair and was rushed to the ER. I took pictures of each event. I do not recommend sending your loved ones here. Please do not do this to them. They need to be treated with love and care, not just a number for them to collect on.
Shame on you Senior Suites!

I worked in the kitchen as a dietary aide. This was the filthiest kitchen i've worked in, in 40 yrs. There was trash not emptied at end of night, food was left out from lunch the day before, roaches, cheese put in with turkey meat, lunch dishes and pans left over night, bottom of fridges dirty, meat set in bottom fridges to thaw, everything is greasy. The lady Tracy that was training me has a bad attitude and said theres no sense in cleaning anything the others that work there won't keep it clean. She complained to residents, their families and other nurses about me. I quit 2 hrs into my 2nd day. I cant work in a place that dirty and unorginized. The food looked good and residents looked taken care of. The nurses had a caring attitude and saw to the needs of the residents.I did report this to Melissia. Whether anything will be done about kitchen I dont know.

This place could handle improvements in patient care. This place does poorly on discharge and does not assist patient or family in loading patient upon discharge. Does not give patient baths on regular bases like suppose too. The dietary is less then desired not balance or watching accordingly.

It was so dirty and awful here. People working here were unhelpful and it smelled like urine. There was some nasty wet substance on the wall of my father-in-law s room, the tv was broken and frankly it was just plain nasty. We had to send my sweet father-in-law for a week to obtain physical therapy but we will never go back here again. EVER.

they fail to take care of some folks around there , not bathing people, not changing bandages and linens for days , forget to feed people,

Some nurses walk out and go home after they tell you they will do something .

But ya , it sounds like a good place .

I know nursing is a hard occupation but you chose this job so do it
