I am an administrator of a Memory Care community and needed a private caregiver for a resident returning from the hospital. I called on a Saturday afternoon, needing care for that evening. My request was promptly attended to and Senior Helpers was able to meet with the family within hours and set up care for that evening. The family was so grateful for such attentive quick service and it helped give them some peace of mind during a very stressful time. I am thankful to work with a care partner like Senior Helpers and glad to know they are there when needed.

I was in desperate need of caregivers to provide care for my dying step father. One agency I used would call right before the shift started to advise his caregiver is suddenly unavailable. Another agency stated they would not be able to meet with me until the following week. When I called Senior Helpers, Norm was out to interview with me the following day and had a caregiver available within 2 hours after our meeting. I sat there and cried, at last I was getting the much help I needed. The caregivers were prompt and took excellent care of my step dad in his final days.
Dad loves the personal attention he gets from his Senior Helpers caregivers! His face lights up when they come to his home and it makes me feel so good to see him so content. The people in the office are always so nice and ready and willing to help with any questions I have. If there is a last minute change in Dad's schedule they are quick to accommodate. Dad's caregivers have all been extremely kind and patient, which is absolutely necessary when working with people with dementia. I highly recommend this business!
I am delighted to be able to reflect on my experience thus far with Senior Helpers. From the management level to the care giver level, I could not be more pleased. Everyone I have encountered has been professional, knowledgable, supportive and extremely helpful, all with compassion. The care my Mom has received has been, without exception, wonderful. Mom is treated with respect and dignity. Throughout are experience, the Senior Helpers staff have encouraged my Mom so that she is able to live her life to her highest capability. Norm Harris from Senior Helpers, came to my home to ask what we needed for help. My request for someone that would play cribbage with my Mother was, I'm sure, a bit strange. I was the full time primary caregiver for my elderly parents for nearly 4 years until they passed away at home at 96 & 97. They were able to live, stay in their home of over 70 years, and have a great quality of life thanks to my personal dedication and that of a few agencies that I hired to support my effort. Over the course of caring for my parents, I talked to and worked with a lot of agencies. From the management down to the individual caregivers the service was top notch. They were compassionate, professional, responsive, personable, capable, positive and reliable- to name a few things.

I had Senior Helpers assist with my Mother who had dementia so that I could get some respite. I found them to be very helpful with filling a position.They were excellent about schedule changes when I needed to make them. They worked very well with me. I had complete trust in the individuals that they sent to care for my Mother. One in particular, Jon, became an adopted part of our family. He took such good care of my Mother. I would be prepared with things you would like to have done in the time you will be gone, as they like to be busy. With my Mother, many times they were here while she slept. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for someone to care for their loved ones with patience and genuine concern for them

I am often asked for suggestions on how certain situations should be handled, and it s clear they respect and value my opinion. I ve been given opportunity to learn new things here and everyone has been very supportive, even when mistakes sometimes happen. There are times when we are very, very busy, and I appreciate that our administrator is willing to jump in and help wherever he s needed, be it answering phones or even driving clients to their hair appointments. He has never made me feel the concerns of my job weren t important enough to take a minute and talk about when I need direction. I feel very fortunate to work for Senior Helpers.
