Fun little slice of Pittsburgh history! My favorite part is of course the Mr Roger's section. They have the castle and the tree house, and some of his sweaters and seeing a Henrietta puppet made my day! Was a fun little mid day outing for my SO and I, informative and I love old stuff.
This has to be one of the best stops I made in Pittsburgh. I love all of the old merchandise from Heinz. I also love the Mr. Rogers exhibit. This is a must do if you re in town.

Admission required, but so worth it! The tickets are good for 2 days, plus entry to the Fort Pitt museum. We spent 3 hrs and probably only saw half that was there. 4 floors of exhibits ranging from the featured exhibition "American Democracy: A Great Leap of Faith" to western PA sports highlights, Mr Rogers' Neighborhood and the history of H.J. Heinz Company. It was great learning about colonial history and reminiscing the glory of PGH baseball, football & hockey. Everything was excellently done.
ABSOLUTELY amazing. You really need a few trips to see everything.We are definitely going to be back.
Amazing place. I didn t even have enough time to finish the entire building but I m going back, that s for sure. The Land of Make Believe with Mr. Rogers was awesome; it brought back so many memories! The very first and last episode are played behind him and he smiles warmly, welcoming you to his space as he would in real life. The slavery exhibit was super surreal and almost brought a tear to my eye. This place is definitely the place to go
So much Pittsburgh history. Do. Not. Miss! I was skeptical just reading up on the museum, but it s 5 floors of massive exhibits!
I would allow yourself 2-3 hours for the museum! you will not be disappointed

This is a fantastic experience for everyone in our group from age 4 to 86. We're been to a lot of the places in the down town area and this one is hands down the best overall. The ticket is good for 2 days and we still didn't get to see everything. The innovation exhibit on the 2nd floor was organized and laid out on a way that presents the information in a way that was educational and held your interest until the very end.
