Great store. Beautiful decoration, lots of books and if you want to eat / drink something good and cozy too. Good service.

Bookstore with a lot of choice and helpful staff. Could not find the good book despite help from the staff. Miss has searched with me until the book was found.

Yeah! Donner's back. Browse through the books and also a nice gift shop. Ambience you have to fantasize during the renovation, but that will probably be fine.

Very nice bookstore, ample space for browsing, has other nice gift stuffs aswell.

After the move it was first uncomfortable and weird.
The last months it is very nice with gigs and lots of buying visitors.
Not everyone comes for books. Also for the restoration and buying nice things. That also makes the public diverse.

Very nice shop to view books quietly. Friendly staff, old ABN building is also beautiful. It is a pity that the Coolsingel is such a gang, but this bookstore cannot help it.

Donner is a great bookstore. Very nice people. It is always there to enjoy. It is a pity that there is such an unkind lady walking around in Diner at Donner. She sends away older men who met very nicely there. And she charges 60 cents for 20 milliliters of milk. And if you say something about it, she gets angry and doesn't want to discuss it, certainly not in the morning. Morning mood probably. But then all day long. Very sorry. For me and for several people, she can leave.

Excellent book store situated in a historical building, previously a bank. Offers a fantastic assortment of books on every subject, with a wide range to suit all ages and tastes. Offers a very quick order service. A very pleasant environment with a small cafe and offers many special occasions to meet the authors, book launches and book readings. Very friendly, helpful professional staff are waiting to assist you. I was particularly impressed with the very helpful assistance I received with my search for a suitable book for an 8 year old child, learning English !!

Nice, modern and varied building. Nicely decorated with a pleasant atmosphere. There is more than enough supply, there are plenty of seating areas and it is 'pleasantly busy'. You can read a lot in the soft buzz. The books are like in a library by subject and alphabet. The prices are fair and there is an advantage corner. Something for everyone! Oh, and next to the stairs there is also a lift.

I liked it since it one of the few very large bookstores left in the Netherlands. Covering a massive amount of floor they have something for everyone. Even the rare books you can find here. However, it only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the look of the bookstore is not appealing and the organization of the shelfs could have been better.

A bookstore as it was intended for Rotterdam: hours of browsing, something for everyone, friendly and desk staff and if you want something different, you can drink a nice coffee or attend a lecture. Never a dull moment with donner.

What a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, nice shop where you can also have a coffee.

I have been going to this store for years now but it has been a while since I visited. Until last week, when I saw the interior, I was happily surprised with the changes. Their product range has increased in variety and the style is very nice. It gives off a classic vibe and the staff seems to know a lot about the books they sell as well. In need of a book or music or comics or boardgames, this store is the right store for you. Also located conveniently next to a subway station.

Lkkr set up and enough chairs to once sit as an old gnome. Cozy resto with tables and chairs. Sofas of athletic halls with cowhide over them. Former chair. Memory Lane device.
Friendly waiters. Good coffee.
A bit of disturbing noise due to work, but that makes sense.
Great set up shop where you can browse through your desired book at your leisure. Great time of the week.

I love this bookstore! The English section is huge and has a wide selection in many genres and the best editions :)

I am glad that Donner is still among us, the current form is somewhat similar in terms of offer to what it once was at the previous location. Actually, I don't want to write anything negative about Donner at all, because I like to come there and regularly, I also regularly buy something. I don't. There is always something to be desired, but you cannot have and keep everything in stock. I get that.
