I have just spent the last 3 hours attempting to get copies of W2 forms from the previous years I worked. I have been forward from department automated calling list to other automated departments without consideration to what I needed. The people I have spoken to have been rude and I was hung up on 3 times. I was yelled at by one person who said "don't you know this is tax season" before hanging up. The promise to call back has never happen. I had never called them before and wouldn't have been calling if it wasn't important. This is very poor business and doesn't reflect well on their core values.
Unfortunately the staff is not entirely at fault. They are overworked and not staffed appropriately to provide good healthcare for their patients. My father had to sit in his own urine/ feces for hours, his IV came out and blood was dripping everywhere. I called the nurse, I applied pressure. It was 53 min before the nurse returned. When some nurses/CNT/CNA did rounds, they would stick their head in , pushed patient care timer indicating they came in and walk away without checking him. The staff to patient ratio needs to be adjusted for better care.
My husband is a patient in Select on the 5th floor of Holy Spirit hospital. He has been hospitalized for months and months off and on and I must call 911 because he has sepsis chronic. HE IS A VIETNAM VETERAN WHO IS DYING OF AGENT ORANGE!!!!!!!!!! WE MUST BRING HIM HERE BECAUSE AMBULANCE DO NOT TAKE TO LEBANON VA HOSPITAL. MY HUSBAND IS 100 PERCENT PERMANENT AND TOTAL DISABLED VETERAN. THIS EVENING I CAME TO VISIT. HE SAID HIS IV WAS LEAKING. HE CALLED NURSES BELL TWICE!! I WENT TO DOOR AND ALL THE NURSES WERE AT DESK STATION. I THEN WENT OVER TO THEM BECAUSE NO ONE STILL CAME TO HELP HIM. THERE IS A NURSE THAT I MET THE OTHER NIGHT NAMED LISA ROBINSON . I LOVE HER RIGHT OFF. MY HUSBAND TOO. LISA TAKES CARE OF THE PATIENT!!!!!!! KUDOS LISA!!! SHE DOESN'T HAVE MY HUSBAND AS A PATIENT TONITE BUT SHE STEPPED RIGHT IN TO HELP. THE NURSE THAT CAME IN HERE THAT WAS ROCCO SIMMONS IS BEV. SHE STOOD AND ARGUED BACK TO ME INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF ROCCO. I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT TREATMENT. SHE STARTED MAKING EXCUSES AS TO WHY SHE DIDN'T COME!!! NOT MY PROBLEM. MY HUSBAND IS MY LIFE AND I EXPECT HIM TO RECEIVE RESPECT AND KINDNESS FROM EVERYONE. I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. ROCCO HAS BEEN ON 3RD FLOOR HEART CENTER AND 6TH FLOOR AND 7TH AND 8TH HERE. SINCE OCTOBER 2018. NOW I AM GOING TO GO HOME AND WORRY ALL NIGHT THAT HE WILL NOT BE TAKEN CARE OF. I AM HIS WIFE HIS FRIEND AND HIS LIFE. I PROTECT HIM AS I SHOULD. I WILL NOT GIVE SELECT A GOOD REVIEW. BUT PLEASE EXTEND OUR THANKS TO LISA ROBINSON.
