They are money hungry and refuse to give me any answers regarding any questions I had other than the bill they wanted me to pay. Apparently after paying renters insurance for a year it covered $1000 of my damages fee and I still owe $1300 in damages which is asinine. They were extremely rude. I could barely get in contact. I called my apartment complex 8 times no answer no call back I did the same with seldin no answer no call back. Every time I email it says they are out of the office I dealt with Molly and Susan.
Molly was decent just clueless and couldn t answer my questions, but Susan had to have been the worst person I have ever dealt with. Extremely rude and ignored everything I had to say and denied giving me any contact info to someone that could actually help me or get me answers and what blew my mind is she was the manager. AVOID RENTING FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I'm already in awe over this & haven't even moved in yet.

I swung by the local Seldin property on 7/12 after moving to the area for a new job that would start the next day. Their voicemail was full, and no one answered the phone, which prompted an in-person visit. Based on other reviews this seems to be a recurring, uncorrected problem at other properties.

Housing here is extremely limited, and I definitely had not expected to pay $1000/month to reside in a 1BR / 1BA in small town America. I haven't even seen the apartment I applied for because they had none available. Rest assured, since I am paying that kind of money, I fully expect better correspondence than what I've seen thus far.

I applied for an apartment owned and/or managed by Seldin in Columbus, Nebraska on 7/25.

On 7/27, $535 was deducted from my bank account. No correspondence had been made for the past week, NOTHING AT ALL from any company representatives, so I went digging, sending out emails & calling. The initial email came back rejected, because wherever I hot-linked to it from was incorrect. I work night shift at a local industry, so I'm often sleeping during their limited business hours (10am-5pm), which at this point would not surprised me if they took a lunch & closed down midday.

I was told that I need my driver's license & pay stubs (or an offer letter) for the past 2 months. I have no way to print any of this out from my hotel & my scheduled move-in date was 8/7. And, I've only received 2 pay stubs since starting on 7/13. All of this despite the endless contracts they made us sign just to apply

What kind of circus are y'all running? Let's get it together, folks. Instead of limiting your liability against claims, try running a respectable business.

I m a resident of your location Oak Park Village in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.I just wanted to take the time and shine a spotlight on Caleb who works in the office. Out of everybody who s worked in the office in the past 2 years he s literally the best. We ve been stuck with people who wouldn t even be in the office during hours of open in the past but not Caleb. He s always there he answers the phone when we call. When we put in work orders he sends Ron to fix the problem immediately where as in the past old office managers wouldn t fix the problem until months later. He s the best and I hope he keeps up the good work

I did some work on Seldin's new offices. They have done a great job repurposing this space. They are located at the southeast end of the plaza. There is now a passageway between these buildings that is going to be spectacular. Somebody is going to get an award for this design.

Worst Management company possible. All emails and phone calls go unanswered and the VM's are all full taking no more... who in their right mind would hire such a non responsive company to handle the management of their property??? The Greenhouse in Omaha does and I now see why.... they are both cut from the same mold of terrible service of being rude to their business associates. Never will I ever be involved with either business going forward!!

I moved into a very nice brand new apartment. While l was out of town May 28 - 31 my apartment flooded several times due to plumber construction issues. It was NOT Seldin fault but It continued to flood 4 or 5 more times, took forever to get a plumber with a camera out. So meanwhile mildew, mold is growing in the bathroom, they did not put any fans in there to try to remedy the problem. I came home to toilet paper glued to the floor from the apt above me. So here l am 24 DAYS LATER and nothing has been done to repair anything. IT STINKS SO BAD OF MOLD . The only great thing they ve done is let me use another vacant apartment and use the bathroom there. Please someone solve this issue, l have asthma and auto immune disorder, I Dont Want To Get Sick. I live in Canyon Lake Texas.

My apartment was robbed because the maintenance man left my door wide open after the heating & cooling company did work on my cooling unit. They had the nerve to blame me but i was at work until 6 that night. I got home at about 630/7 & found my door wide open and my toolbox plus a tablet with all my tax info in it were gone! I didn't realize my toolbox was gone until i broke down on the highway! Not only that 1 of thier managers pulled some shady stuff and due to her embezzling or whatever she was doing with rent money had our housing taken! They never told me what happened but only tried to charge me almost $5000 in back rent but that was a hyperberbale. I am seeking legal help and will be correcting this whole situation. The maintenance man told (the same guy who left my door open) that these companies buy large complexes get the money then move on. Do not trust these people! If there was a negative 5 star they would get it!

They have unqualified negligent staff. No one answers the phone after manager quit at Overlook Ridge at Canyon Lake to process new applicants who were left in limbo after being promised affordable apartment. They do not take responsibility for their negligence.

Horrible company, who doesn t care about their tenants. Will never recommend nor live where this company runs anything. Been an absolute nightmare trying to work with them to get an issue resolved.

Have called repeatedly. Left messages. No one returns my calls!! Very Frustrating! J. P.
