I had great experience with seed training group.After finishing with my studies I had no idea where to get practical training from as every job I applied before required some sort of practical knowledge. I found this group on internet and decided to enroll with many doubts in mind but now i have realized that my decision was not wrong and it helped me to land at a work place.

I did not enjoy my experience here and I will be honest.
Other places cost cheaper, and I clearly explained to them I only had first year accounting experience. I felt like they didn't do an admission check or criteria check before taking students.
Most of the time I was told to just "read the book". Reading the books is part of the learning process but if I have never seen anyone else complete the task in front of me then I do not know, what I am expected to do?
I received a lot of non-commital emails every time I had asked a question and then was advised to come into class. I wasted a lot of my time coming into class because the trainer had to "attend to other students" and then never bothered to explain key concepts and I felt like he was just mansplaining and then telling me "to read the manual again" if I didn't get it. It was very unprofessional.
The manuals have a lot of grammatical errors and typos. It touches very briefly on the topics and there are no examples for BAS calculations and Payroll. I didn't know why they even added a bookkeeping unit and then expected me to complete it and hence, this caused the other two units to be delayed.
Comments made by the trainer were very brief, "refer to question" but I don't know what the question is asking if it has grammatical errors or if the statement is poorly articulated.
For the time being, please avoid. Hopefully, they will improve.
The trainer John is always very patient with all my questions. The job-ready program of financial planning does teach very practical knowledge and skills. I was asked many technical questions in the job interview, which had been covered by the program, and the employer was impressed by my answers. Both the trainer and staff are very nice and they do care about students, even after the training program is over. I am highly impressed by their quick responses to my questions and inquiries after I have completed the training program.
I completed my tax accountant training program in a month at Seed Training. During the training session, the mentors were very friendly and helpful; they provided detailed explanation during the case studies which definitely helped a lot in my career as most job advertisements I see on-line require you to have experience in using accounting soft wares . I would definitely recommend Seed Training!

Hi, I have just finished the General Accounting program. It's a good hands on practical training via case study, and for me it's a refresher of what I have learned. I like that the case study is becoming more complicated gradually as it will be a good preparation for all possible scenarios in real work. I also like the balance of the independence of doing the case study and at the same time knowing that the trainers are always there to help. I also like the tips and tricks to make the work faster, and more importantly how to self check the work. I like the manual, as it really shows detailed steps what to do in the system which I can always look back and refer to. Also, important points are summarized for easy reading. The tax training offered by Seed training institute is very well designed for beginners and experienced accountants migrating to Australia. I have learnt a lot about Australian taxation during the training and the hands on experience with the tax software was very good. I have done the Taxation Program at Seed Training, I found that it was hard getting a job in the accounting field without any accounting experiences, most employers look at what experience do u have first before anything else and being a recent graduate It was difficult finding a job, when u have almost no experience in accounting, that s why I chose to undertake the course at seed training, so that I will have some experience when I apply for graduate positions and other accounting and taxation based jobs, and I will be a step or two ahead of other graduates who haven t complete any training and have lesser experience.
I have found the experience and training very beneficial and valuable, the staff and overall environment is very homely and fun environment whilst maintaining a sense of professionalism, whilst completing the course the trainers explain everything quite well and any information that they might have missed can be easily found in the work manuals that are very informative and also simple to read and follow.
What I found the most helpful and most interesting during the full course was the individual and business tax returns, this is because it s not as repetitive as the bookkeeping part of the course, as each client has a different story, this is not to say the bookkeeping is too simple. With the bookkeeping you are faced with two different programs and the case study provided gets harder for each quarter that u have to do.
I would defiantly recommend that university students or people who are looking for a change in jobs that require some practical experience with bookkeeping taxation or even management accounting have a look at the company Seed Training as it is a highly valuable and rewarding experience for a small investment.

I am an Accounting graduate and I've recently completed the General Accounting Program which consists of bookkeeping and individual tax as well as Microsoft Excel. I got the chance to use MYOB, Reckon Accounts, ZERO to complete the bookkeeping aspect of the program which consists of Accounts Receivable/ Payable, payroll and accounts reconciliation and involves repetition to really get the hang of it. There is enough trainers for the number of students and they are always happy to help, answer questions and can easily figure out and explain exactly where you may have gone wrong when you make a mistake so you understand the program better and know what to look out for when completing the rest of the work. Tax component was very thorough as well, giving different possible scenarios and giving me the confidence to also do my own tax returns in future. Prior to this course I had no experience in the accounting field, now am able to put this practical experience on my resume and have the confidence to again start applying for jobs that I didn't have before.

Undertaking the taxation training program is basically a step-up from what I leant in Taxation Law at University. I'm able to better visualise the end outcome of a tax return.
