Went here to re certify for armed and all we did was watch an old video from the 80 s and then take a paper test that he gave us all the answers to. Instructor was rude and not caring, didn t teach anything. Came back to get my OC and Baton Certification and instructor mazgay was the complete opposite, he was incredible. Would not recommend to go for armed/unarmed training because of the owner/main instructor . He smokes in the front room and the class as well, so you ll have to sit through second hand smoke the entire time of the class.

I have been in the security field for MANY years. I have performed almost every aspect possible in the field. My experience was they followed DCJS guidelines to the point with no exceptions. I will utilize the classes they offer to obtain my certifications and registrations to complete my goals. Thank you Roy for a pleasant experience.

Easily one of the better DCJS companies in the area. They're passionate about the industry and keep the training up-to-date and interesting. They go out of their way to help the students and take care of everything with DCJS. Would recommend to anyone looking to get certifications.

Roy is a fair guy and responsive. I've known him since 1996 and have taken his classes. Teaches what you need to know. When you complete his training you should be confident he trained you right. Does not compromise on firearms training. Safety first and accuracy.

He smokes inside the building and I have asthma, sinus issues and allergies. I discussed the matter with him privately and his response referenced the availability of clean air outside and at another facility.during
class instruction he often referenced his social, and political beliefs. Which made me feel uncomfortable. When it was time for the gun range portion of the certification he walked past and stater he doubts I can shoot. I am assuming he said this because I am female.i can't say for sure, but it was very unprofessional. I will not be returning and I can't recommend anyone else to go there.
