Very knowledgeable staff, he helped me with some boots and ultimately didn't sell me them because they didn't fit quite right. It was close and I could have been convinced into buying the wrong thing by someone less scrupulous. Great service and I'll be going back for sure.

I have been an Second Gear Sports member for...well an eternity. My first purchase was for a backpacking trip to Europe and I have been a fan ever since. I went here to pick up a package was in the store 5 seconds befor captain mask wearer comes and berated me for not wearing it above my nose and listen I get it but it your worried then put yours over your whole face but if I want to breathe fresh air in through my nose and put my mouth so you got nothing to worry about if your wearing your mask correctly and mine has no effect on you and the prices were just high for used stuff! Hope you over come your fear of not wearing a mask!!

It made the experience so much more exciting! There were multiple occasions where we were checked in on to make sure that we were finding everything okay. Such a great store!

we ended up getting Osprey backpacks for our trek down the inca trail. I was so pleased and satisfied with the time Julie spent on us and the extensive knowledge she offered also. She also didn't try to pressure us to buy it right away (although we did anyway lol) and was so patient when we kept asking her questions. Thank you so much Julie!!!!!
