Sebasco Harbor Resort Review

Truly something for everyone, whatever your age. On a picturesque cove near great beaches, the resort is relaxed and has all the amenities. Not a glitzy gym, or a stuffy 5 star restaurant, but if you want to get away, relax and have some fun, this is a perfect place for it. Our cottage was perfect (Round Cove). Great for two couples or even families. Felt secluded. But not far from anything. We had 3 great days there.

The people we're really nice, and the food was delicious, the first rooms seemed like they were just coming out of the off season, and needed some freshening up.

We go to visit friends every couple of years and we love it. It's a beautiful place in the world. The resort is small but active and full of things to do and super nice people. Good times.

No heat in our room when it was 40 degrees at night. Didn't do anything when we told them about it, except give us a blanket to make up for the pathetic comforter. Apparently it was just our room and wasn't intentional, but we were still charged in full. At least the food at our events was really good. It does seem hilarious that the golf course only rents out women's clubs, but my husband said he played well with them!

Update: they contacted us and made up for their broken heat after the fact.

Beautiful setting... Nice mooring field for sail and power boats... Great staff.

The perfect place for a Maine getaway. Rent a cabin for your family or a spa suite just for you. Dine over looking the ocean and play candle pin bowling in their arcade. There is a 9 hole golf course and tons of things to do with kids. When we showed up they had a science show and when we left there was a sing along with smores.

As expected, but some of the amenities were closed. Not a big deal, except we were told they were open.

We did an in-state, afternoon trip for a round of golf and a bite to eat. From calling the pro shop for a tee time to the time we left the resort, our experience was outstanding. The golf shop was courteous and friendly, and the course conditions were absolutely perfect (a great layout with variety and beautiful views). We stayed for a couple of beverages and a bite to eat and the service was friendly, laid back and the food was great! We'll be back for a weekend this September.

I was here during the day for work conference. Its quaint, classic, and has many suites near ocean. Restaurant is nice as well. It's not a 5 star to be sure, but nice seaside resort in Maine.

Facilities listed aren't actually available (can't use the game room during the day on a Saturday, kayaking is an extra expense, etc.). No AC and poorly ventilated rooms. The rooms have damage, but it's more cosmetic than anything. This place isn't modern at all, which can be fine for some people, but makes me mark the "hated it" option. At least the staff was friendly!

A lovely piece of property on a sheltered Maine Cove. While staying at a private residence in the area, we walked the grounds and took in the view. There is a variety of guest houses, a pool, tennis courts and a golf course. The spa offers a variety of treatments and can be booked the day of service.

A Maine treasure -- . As they say, try it - you'll like it! The golf, the tennis, the quarterdeck for historic candlepin bowling and other classic indoor games, delicious food, beautiful gardens, the salt water pool, a to-die-for location, boats and kayaks, explore Phippsburg and Popham Beach, or sit back and relax -- and especially sunsets from the pier.

This place is extraordinary. Picture perfect location. Amenities are fantastic.

Nicely located, very quiet. Bar has no ambience. Nice winter garden and reading room. Food and service in the pilot was good. Rooms are good and bathrooms are small and demodulated. Room service was not good. Beds not made and the
Cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved. Staff friendly.

One of the most enjoyable getaways I ve ever had. The resort is secluded and quiet but has fantastic amenities and food. The employees are helpful and kind.

Great place to grab a bite or a lobster. You can ride a boat to it as well. Looks like a cute place to stay too. Good for families.

We rented a mooring for 2 nights, and had full access to the resort. We enjoyed our stay.

We came by land, to see if we could come by sea- the whole place had an old world charm, with kids running about, an ice cream shack, salt water pool, and lovely flowers growing everywhere. And yes, we could come by sea which we plan to do next season.

Not sure i can say enough good things about this place. We decided on Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend to just head to Maine and spend the day looking at scenery and lighthouses. We were just winging it. So when it got late we saw the sign for the Resort and decided to see if they had a room available. We got real lucky and they did and actually had two nights available in the lighthouse which is right on the water. Our view was spectacular. We spent the two nights and loved it. The staff from the front desk to the wait staff to house keeping were exceptional. The Location is great and there is plenty to do in the area or right at the resort. Coffee is ready at 6:30 am and ice cream all the way up till 9:00 pm. Even in these trying times of COVID the resort staff seemed to do everything they could to make sure their guest were happy. We cant wait to go back.

My only complaint is the 10:30 AM check out time, because I did not want to leave. We truly had an amazing weekend at Sebasco. The entire staff was so genuine and went above and beyond every step of the way!
From the moment we checked in, Joshua greeted us with all the information we needed, provided excellent recommendations and made us feel so welcome. He was pleasant and courteous every time we saw him! Every one at the front desk made us so happy and we felt so welcome! Liz and I had spoken on a couple of occasions before our stay and she was so great! She made my bouquet for our ceremony and it was beautiful!

Michael Lynch officiated the elopement and we could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. Any thing we were worried about, he came to the rescue and gave us better options than we could have imagined. He was patient with us as well and I can not imagine what we would have done without him.
Melissa took photos for our ceremony that were so perfect I teared up as I looked through them. Her energy throughout the ceremony was purely wonderful and I can t say enough about how comfortable and happy she made us! She provided us with some real gems we ll be able to look back on for the rest of our lives.
Alex at Ledges Pub was wonderful! Great at conversation, kind and had even more information for us about things to do in the area. He put up with us all weekend, even when we came in with our parents to celebrate, he smiled and treated us very well. He s also an awesome bartender!
My new mother-in-law and I had breakfast at the Pilot house and it was delicious! The new staff members were still learning the ropes, but remained pleasant through all of it.
Jeff at the pro shop really impressed my husband. From what I heard, he was very welcoming and great at what he does! Joe was beyond happy with his golf experience at Sebasco.
We had a room at the Fairwind Spa suites and it was perfect. Very clean, with a great view, fireplace for the chilly nights, and the most comfortable mattress we ve ever slept on. I wasn t able to get an appointment at the spa because they were booked and I had called last minute, but the hot tub was incredible.
All in all, we had an amazing stay at Sebasco Harbor Resort. The landscape is like no other and the views are awe inspiring. We will be coming back annually, and already have friends considering eloping and marrying there as well. We can not speak highly enough of this little piece of paradise. From the moment we arrived, the staff never faltered or disappointed. Five stars just aren t enough.

Sebasco has a unique beautiful setting you will want to return to again and again. The waterfront with it's salt water pool embedded in the harborside ledges is a very special place. The whole resort is special from the top of the trail on Mt. Merritt to the views from the immaculate greens on the golf course. The people here are wonderful, the staff and the locals (mostly one and the same) delight in sharing the joys of this place. Great fishing and the most beautiful beaches in Maine are here too. Do not pass up the opportunity to spend some time here.

A must visit every summer. Wonderful location and a very modest resort.

Great place to get away and just stay put and relax, everything you'd want to do in Maine all in one place. Beautiful salt water pool overlooking the ocean, free canoes, bowling and many other activities. 2 restaurants on site. The list goes on. Just a beautiful property overall to enjoy.

The lighthouse is worth a visit! Go all the way to yhe top. The views from the Ledges deck is amazing, but the dining room also has amazing views.

Wonderful location, various types of accommodation available, two restaurants, one formal one informal. Loads of activities, golf, tennis, kayaking, swimming etc. There is boat with trips around the islands and harbours in the area. The perfect setting for a family holiday or a romantic break. When we arrived there was a wedding in progress. What a venue for that.

This place is gorgeous! The rooms are so comfortable and very contemporary!!

We spent a few very relaxing days on this beautifully quiet (golf) area. We were accommodated in a beautifully decorated in wood decor rooms in the "lighthouse". Bathroom was a bit small, but overall this was not a problem.

Amazing Resort with great views and picture perfect sunsets. Sebasco offers a variety of cuisine from an upscale pub (Patio is ON the water) to a casual fine dining restaurant to an Ice cream shop and also a coffee shop. Sebasco has a lot to offer no matter who you are.

Sebasco Harbor Resort is Vintage Maine! Located where the ocean meets the New Meadows River you can swim in a saltwater pool warmed by the Sun.
I spoke with people who came here as children and are now returning with their kids taking kayaking tours around the islands and exploring the coastline and coves on stand up paddle boards.
A 9-hole golf course, Thursday evening Lobster bake over an open pit fire covered in seaweed, sitting outside sipping on a good beer while watching the Sunset and a Starry Sky emerge, listening to the sounds of the Sea and the birds...I left refreshed!

Awesome resort, the restaurant was very busy and we saw our server maybe 3 times total but again, they were very busy. Great views of the Harbor and a cute little ice cream stand.

Lakeview Cottage is beautiful! Quiet place with great views.

A beautiful, welcoming old style resort on the coast of Maine. Pool, restaurant, golf, a boat ride, kayaking, and relaxation.

I had an awesome time staying here with my girlfriend. we stayed in the light house for two nights. very helpful staff made our stay very relaxing and most of all peaceful. we enjoyed the food at the restaurant, staff there needs a little work.

We loved our stay in October at Sebasco Harbor Resort. Beautiful and quiet with very helpful and friendly staff and lovely accommodation.

We especially enjoyed the water cruise on the resort boat 'Ruth'. Beautiful scenery and knowledgeable Skipper with the boat limited to a dozen or so passengers means they is plenty of space to enjoy the wildlife and scenery.

We also visited Merritt Mountain (from the resort and worth the easy climb for the view).

Casual, relaxed, and perfect for a low-key getaway! It's a historic property with unbelievable views, lots of fun but low stress activities, and on-site dining. It's not a luxury resort, but an approachable and downright affordable slice of authentic, vintage Maine.

We stayed in the main lodge, in a comfortable room. While there are no chic amenities, but there are plenty of great views, comfy beds, clean rooms, and fresh sea air. Talk about the perfect space to take a break from our hectic overworked lives! There is excellent Wi-Fi but we found ourselves more interested in sunsets than screens.

Our visit ended with the wedding of a dear friend, which was beautiful and in the perfect location right on the water, in a prime spot on the property. The event space could not have been more perfect for the reception afterwards. I also want to recommend the staff there, everyone was so helpful and friendly, and the bartender Darcy went out of her way to make everyone in our party very happy!

Many types of accommodations are available to suit your individual needs. Service is impeccable with friendly staff members. They offer a myriad of fun and educational activities that there is no need to leave the property. The views will amaze you!

Love this harbor and this resort! If you are cruising the Maine coast, Sebasco is an amazing place to stop for great showers, helpful dock staff and great food.

I love this place. Beautiful family resort. Fun for the whole family. Good food. The employees are very polite and helpful. Definitely should check it out.

This is my second time working here for a few days. I stay in Rocky Crest with a friend while we help them clean rooms. We each get a king bed to our selves. Her room has a small bathroom with a shower and then there's a separate bathroom with a tub/shower. There's a third room with two twin beds. There's a small kitchen with a microwave and small fridge. There's also wood fireplace, a sectional couch and a table with two bench seats. We stayed there last time. I love it.

Well maintained grounds, excellent food, and wonderful staff

Our small group dined in the Clipper Room. It was a beautiful space with great decoration upon arrival, but oddly cold (not heated) given the chilly, damp, Maine fall weather. I was also a little surprised by the use of plasticware (except for steak knives) and plastic glasses and later found out this wasn't the norm. The food, which I found out was not supposed to be buffet style, was just warm and didn't seem kept hot. Our night kind of died out when the building lost electricity with no backup except candles and lanterns slowly brought by staff and the bar seemed to be put away or closed early.
