Great location with direct beach access. Staff were all great and wore their masks. The room was very clean and fully functional. Our room was recently updated along with new windows to keep the noise out. The entry door to the room could use a better seal, you can hear everyone talking outside of your room in the hallway. Plenty of parking. I'd definitely stay here again.
Hotel is in a beautiful location. Associates are kind and very helpful. breakfast consists of plentiful items. if i can recall correctly the breakfast consisted of: Orange, apple and cranberry juice, regular milk, almond silk milk, swiss miss cocoa mix, decaf and regular coffee as well as tea. there were pastries, English muffins and a bagel from a bakery in San Luis Obispo. There was hard boiled eggs 2 in a bag and oatmeal as well as a small variety of fruits. And an assortment of cereal like fruits loops and corn flakes. Breakfast begins at 7am and ends at 10.
The pool is open from 8 am to 9 pm it is a heated pool. Due to covid the Hot tubs are not open.
The rooms are well kept although the standard rooms are not all that great. They are aesthetically pleasing yet nothing fancy. I Did find a single hair in the bathtub. however the tub was smooth and not gritty so they are practicing proper cleaning methods in the bathroom. I did notice that there was no shower liner just a curtain and the curtain was looking a bit worn. The comforter on the bed had some yellow mustard like stains on it. Usually when stains cannot be removed, the bedding is to be thrown in a reclaim pile and if it is still not removed the bedding is to be thrown away.
Rooms were not ready on time. Covid is not an excuse. i used to clean rooms for Hilton brand hotels we were given 30 minutes and 60 rooms to clean everyday. Every single room was equipped with a full size fridge, microwave, stove/oven and dishwasher (kitchenette). Most companies are not held to high standards and slack on many things or give excuses for their inefficiencies, must be a privileged California thing. triple the price a 1/4 of the work.
I was sad to find out that Winesday is not operating. The front desk rep informed me that they do not do that yet their site says they do. I figured do to covid maybe they cancelled.
OH AND clean out those Keurig's the mildew build up is gross.... if they cannot be cleaned properly you should consider transitioning to traditional coffee makers.
Nice hotel by the beach. Nice rooms, great breakfast from 7 to 10am. Nice fire pits, BBQ grills, easy access to Shell beach. Has a very nice pool and fast room service. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an ocean view.

This Hotel was Beautiful!! Stayed in Ocean front view room saw the most beautiful sunset I ever seen ! The view was priceless !! The staff was great and friendly ! Did not want to leave definitely be going back soon!!
Very nice hotel, really pretty. It is right on the beach, with a stairway going down the cliff right to the beach. There s a restaurant right next door which is really good. The rooftop is beautiful. All throughout the property there is outdoor furniture and fire pits which give it the best relaxing mood. Just walking in I was able to relax and enjoy my time there. The rooms are clean and nice. A great hotel overall
The room was sold as ocean view but it was actually partial ocean with a view of a wall. The room was small with super thin walls. Every door that slammed shut on the entire floor could be heard. This went on until 2:30am. It was super hectic, not a peaceful or restful stay. Housekeeping didn t even clean our room between nights. The water pressure was a trickle and didn t stay hot long enough to take 2 showers. The view of the beach was nice, but the hotel was overpriced with extremely low overall value.
I would have given 5 stars but the water pressure sucks! Otherwise very clean, amazing proximity to the beach, lots of area on the grounds to just be outside, pool was open, grass area was open, every room has an ocean view. Breakfast offered wasn t that great, but they are adhering to the covid restrictions which was great to see. Friendly staff.
For a simple hotel- this is great. We walked in our room and it smelled clean and fresh. We had a spectacular view and loved being on the cliffs of Pismo Beach. The staff was super friendly. We slept great too.
This place was epic! Highly recommend room 241. Great view. Great atmosphere. This hotel is a gem! The staff, the grounds, the rooms, etc. All top notch. I was super impressed by this place. This is top 3 in Central Coast for sure!
