Fun to do the behind the scenes tour with our 6th grade class. Guide was super nice. Had more fun than I expected.
Fun to do the behind the scenes tour with our 6th grade class. Guide was super nice. Had more fun than I expected.
Too expensive, always packed, can easily get done in 30 minutes or less...not very many exhibits.
Everytime I'm in the area I always visit this place never gets old love sea life!!!!!!!!!!!
It is ok. Kinda short. Not super interactive till the end.
Small and expensive, but it gave us something to do before a flight out of MSP.
Awesome find in the MOA - adults and kids both have things that are super cool to see and do!
Took the tour, and had great guide. Very knowledgeable.
Get the membership on black Friday to make the experience worthwhile! Day rates are a total rip off, but the black Friday membership cost pays itself off in two visits. We visit frequently throughout the year, it breaks up a shopping trip and is great in inclement weather! The new rainforest feature is a fun new addition for the kids!
Big massive mall. Very impressive. Be sure to have your coffee or energy drink when coming here because theres so much to see and do
There are some cool parts of Sea Life at the Mall of America. The under water part is cool but short. You can interact with only one tank at the end without paying more. Once you pay you can go back as many times as you like for the day. One drawback in the underwater parts, screaming is amplified and there are always kids screaming in there. There are also a few areas to draw and play with Legos to help pass the time.
Fun for all ages especially children. Their bathrooms could use updating though.
Our BTS tour guide , Susan, was very interactive and welcoming. I brought my family and my neighbors who homeschool. The Lego building competition wittj scuba divers was a fun treat even for my 17-yr-old son who purchased an annual pass. My 79-yr-old mom enjoyed sipping Seattle's Best coffee in Beluga Bay and admiring the sting rays below.
b-day party was a bust. I wish I would have just purchased individual tickets for the group and skipped actually signing up for the party there. All we got was a room to open presents and the behind the scenes tour. $350 for that...10 kids and 2 adults.
This wasn't my first time to sea life, so I was very disappointed when we came her this time. It wasn't that great anymore. They took out the rainforest walkthrough which was disappointing. They added the stingray exhibit which was ok but then if you wanted to feed them it was 5 for one and 10 for 2...ok, gotta pay for the fish, but then you pay 30 to walkthrough the tunnel and see some jellyfish. It wasn't worth it and my daughter was not happy with the whole thing.
We have season passes and go at least once a month. My kids just love it!!
It was a lot of fun to go with my son. Walking through the aquarium tunnel was awesome.
Small and extremely overpriced. Only takes 15 minutes to see everything.
It was great. Kids had a fantastic time. It is a little overpriced since mn zoo is a lot bigger and same price...
Great time, great animals healthy n fun, but PLEASE LIMIT STROLLERS (even jyst the size) or tell parents there's other people who would like too view as well, i got 72 bruises from strollers, n selfish parents. moms have 17 foot strollers, full of bags of purses, while the kids wander around, then dads gotta pack n play stroller for their big gulps, dont forget their 100pack diaper bag for lil easton.....PLEASE LIMIT TOO 1 STROLLER UNDER 6ft n if there no child inside have them park it, too narrow too fit around these monsters....
A bit too expensive for what it is...paid over 50 bucks for two people for a less than an hour trip. The aquarium is very good though, it has many animals and is located inside the mall for convinience.
It was a lot smaller than I would have figured but the tunnels you walk through are pretty cool.
Rex the tour guide was awesome cant wait to take family again
Took my money and didnt give coffee otherwise ur was nice
Very fast tour and very overpriced. What we did see was beautiful, like the moon jellies and the aquarium glass tunnel. Find another aquarium like the MN Zoo in Apple Valley.
Located in the Mall of America. Reasonable price for an underground aquarium.
I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of marine life andhow inviting it felt. It seemed to continually unfold.
This is great for kids and adults. I was fascinated with everything.
Ample parking and a gift shop. Different price points are available for souvenirs.
This is close to restaurants, shops and entertainment.
Very busy. Dont regret going. Dont know if I would go again though.
was not sure if i wanted to go in since it was $120 for all of us so had to think about it for a while. specially because we drove 2+ hrs ..i got to say the staff was kind and friendly but it was packed.. So could not spend the time i wanted with my family since we had to keep it moving i loved the tunnel it was beautiful but then again wish it was not as crowded to take pics and enjoyed the animals a bit longer .. I recommend if you go dont go when you see alot of people.. because my son kept telling me wait i want to see that fish but had to keep moving. My son was excited but dissapointed ask he kept saying he wanted to stay longer and not keep moving .. I wish they would keep count of visitors to make sure everyone gets there time to enjoy. i get weekends are crowded but this was xtreme ..
It is beautiful don't get me wrong but for the price it seemed really short.
Quite a lot of exhibits. But the most impressionable exhibit was the jellyfish exhibit. Really enjoyed it. It takes abt an hour to see all the exhibits in normal pace. However, I find the entry fee a tad bit expensive.
This was by far the best SEA LIFE I have ever been to, money very well spent!!
Very cool place to go. The 300 ft glass tunnel was awesome. Saw many dif types of sharks, rays, fish and more. Being able to touch starfish and sea urchins was cool. A little disappointed they ran out of shrimp so we couldnt feed the rays but regardless it was a very neat experience.
Amazing what all they can for under the MOA! We have an annual pass which is great for our 3 year old. Sometimes he zips through, barely looking, while others he is fascinated by the huge walk through shark tanks or the beautiful jelly fish displays. It could be a little more toddler interactive (some things start a little high off the floor), but for the most part, well worth a visit... You will be surprised.
Really enjoyed this. Price is high, but best experience, especially for little kids under 5.
Usually a good visit. However half of it is under construction and we still had to pay full price.
Great when you have little ones and dont know what to do
Beautiful facility. A lot of wonderful creatures to look at
For the price of admission, we thought there would be much more to see and do. The novelty of an aquarium being on the lower floor of a mall is great, but I really don't think it was worth the price we paid for admission. Granted we live on the east coast, five minutes from the ocean, so I think our expectations for this aquarium may have been too high compared to other places we've been.
Amazing place to see a variety of saltwater and freshwater fish. We went on a weekend and it was very packed ,wall-to-wall people which wasn't fun. My advice would be go during the weekday. You can enjoy it a lot better and not get squished with other people
Beautiful. When u go touch the green anemone. Its fantastic.
Pretty cool aquarium. Impressive sharks and sting rays, and a few other creatures. It was fun, but also a bit short. I'd recommend it if you're looking for some low-key, "Wow that's so cool!" adventure.
Great place to go with the family. Employees are Educational and informative glad I went
They keep adding things to make it interesting. The mermaids were neat.
The Sea Life at the Mall of America was great for kids and adults depending on your interests. The staff is super friendly and I highly advise going to the behind the scenes, even though it has an extra cost to get in. If you go I hope you have a great time.
They continue to surprise me with updates, and renovations. As always I enjoyed seeing the animals. Captain Jack Sparrow made an appearance as well (a man in costume) it was fun :)
I took 4 kids 5 and under to Sea Life with a friend to help with the kids. We homeschool our oldest and they did a special for homeschool week which is awesome for single income families. The packets were great. Kinda bummed about the trading cards cause the people working we're usually busy and then we forgot about it. Kids loved it and we could move as quickly or slowly as we needed to. Usually we can't afford to go so this was a nice treat for us. The sting Ray's were the kids favorites.
Very good. You would be crazy to pay full price there is coupons everywhere to get in cheaper.
Have been here several times over the last six years. I think this is a wonderful experience and there is a lot to see and do, but it is kind of expensive. We bring our kids every time and their jaws always drop at the sight of massive fish swimming every where around you.
It's pretty cool that this was built under the mall. Expectation were high but ended up jujitsu being a ok experienc.
Visited this place with the family. Really educational and fun. Loved the underwater exhibit.
Do not come here on a weekend! Complete parenting terrorism. They do not manage the flow of people. No room to even move or enjoy the exhibits. Need to limit occupancy...
Great Place, a little spendy but totally worth it:)
Educational and fun. Friendly staff. We love bringing our kid here.
Amazingly fun! Take a walk threw different types of habitats with fish, sharks, Ray's, turtles and more swimming in front of you above you and all around. Go on a week night and avoid weekend crowds
It was a world of its own. I saw all kinds of fish. It was real and amazing
