It has changed since we were there 22 years ago. There used to be touching of the sharks and Ray's. Now you can touch the sea urchins and star fish. We also enjoyed the tunnels where you can see the fish from the sea floor. We are planning to go back and bring our niece.

Neat place. Got to sea ( , see* ) a lot of creatures that our kids normally wouldn't with living along the Great Lakes. Our kids loved it and talk about it still quite often. Neat little touch pool. A bit pricey, but understandably so with trying to keep sea life in the midwest.

We used to like to go here however it's no more than a tourist trap. You can no longer pet the sting rays. We went to the mermaid encounter and were very disappointed. Only one mermaid and no meet and greet. The prices are also a total rip off for what you can see. Poor alligator looks so sad in the little tank.

Cool exhibits with a nice variety. We went here with our two year old and he enjoyed all of the fish and aquariums. The only downfalls are the price (~$50 for a pair of adults for 45 min of entertainment) and space (was very crowded and couldn't fit a stroller through at points).

This place was awesome. Very busy. I went there on a sat morning right when the mall open and it was still very chaotic. I suggest purchasing your ticket a head of time to save you time waiting in line. There were helpers around helping and directing you. It was a great experience for the kids. All ages are welcomed. It can get tight sometimes, but overall it was fun.

Over priced at retail. Look online- there is always a coupon for something off. Teachers can get an annual pass really cheap. Kids under 2 are free. Fun once inside, just not very long. Young kids love it, slightly older kids may be a bit bored. If your claustrophobic do not go in! Its a smaller area once in. Kids love the jelly fish area plus many different places to take pictures. Annual membership are good if you plan to go often. We only go once every couple of years.

So they leave coupons in the mall of America for any admission and this place is pretty neat. My wife and I spent about an hour and a half strolling through at our leisure and we were allowed to walk through as many times as we wanted. I didn't expect it to be as large as it was and they had quit a few animals to observe. It was really neat.

This is one of the best aquariums I have ever been to, the displays are quality and the animals seem to be treated well. It is also not that crowded during the week and the staff were very friendly . I will go back if I visit the mall of america again.

I went here before and I loved how you could touch the sea rays it was totally fun. I also got to see the jellyfish tubes where it was like jellyfish floating everywhere in little tubes of water. But personally my favorite was the huge aquarium part where there was alllllll different types of fish. This place is for any aged person to experience what it feels like to be underwater, but it's not for the closterphobic. I thought it wasn't crowded although I think they might have fixed the crowded problem which is good. :D

The aquarium itself was not to bad. We drove 9.5 hours to spend a week here. The tickets were paid for about 4 months in advance. We paid for the general admission, the VIP tour and ray feeding. We did the tour at 11am on a Friday, which again, was book 4 months in advance. The tour was rushed and crowded. We had probably 15-20 people. Fitting into the kitchen was a nightmare. When we went to look through the tops of the tank, only some of us got to see the shark tank, due to not being able to go back as far, because there was a tear in the netting.(Not their fault) but that meant the whole group had to split in half and take turns at the shark tank, the second half of the group didn't get to see, because we were kicked out of the tour, and our tour guide didn't know why. We were just told to get out and the tour was over sorry.
Also, paid for the Manta Ray feeding months in advance and if I had known their policy was different than most, we would not have paid for it at all. You could not put your hands in the tank to pet or hand feed, which other places will let you for a lot cheaper. Also, the actual aquarium was good, but not for the wait. They had a mermaid in the tank the day we were there, and since the tickets were paid for, it was either look, or just lose the money. We waited in line to view the tunnels for an hour. We had no want to see the mermaid, as we were all adults except for one 12 year old, who doesn't care for mermaids either. Other than having to wait in a tunnel while the mermaid did her thing, the experience was alright.

We bought the VIP Experience, and had a great time. Our group from 3yrs old to 74, loved our guide Phil. He had so much knowledge of all the exhibits and animals. You could tell that he had a real love of his job. We loved learning about their diets, feeding procedures and personalities!

I absolutely love aquariums! There were some really interesting sea life & a wide array of different types of fish. The jellyfish area was the best for me though, very beautiful to see. Was a little disappointed because I assumed it would be larger than it was seeing the mass size & how many floors the mall has. Not sure the esthetics of the building structure of course, so unsure if a multi level aquarium was even an option. But overall still enjoyed this attraction & would definitely recommend to other.

Sea Life is really cool place. If you are local I suggest the annual pass. They have sharks sea turtles and many different kinds of fish even freshwater fish like the arapaima from South America. Feeding the stingrays is extra but fun. Try and take your time as you walk through it really is amazing.

Had a wonderful day trip here though it was a bit of a quick run through. One of the exhibits was closed for renovations but it was still a neat things to see. To extend our trip we got the behind the scene tour and our guide, Rex, was a delight through it all. Very clever and funny granted I wouldnt admit it to him haha

We had alot of fun here at Sea Life. General admission is far for what they offer. We paid extra for the behind the scenes tour which I thought was very interesting! I have to admit the tunnel tank was the coolest tank set up I have ever seen! We also paid extra and scheduled a snorkel visit to snorkel in Rainbow Reef. Snorkeling could have been a little better, rainbow reef isnt very big, and they allow 4 people to snorkel at a time. It would not have been so bad if they didnt have 2 more people from Sea Life also snorkeling making a barrier between us and the sea turtle Seamore. We paid good money for 30 minutes of snorkeling and we were bumping into each other the whole time. If they only allowed 2 people at a time it would have been much MUCH better! We definitely enjoyed swimming with the fish and in the tank. Seamore is also very curious and since they dont want u near her I would recommend they either move her to a new tank while snorkeling is in session or make it so they have something to enclose her away from visitors. We learned alot and it was a great time. We were on our honeymoon my poor husband had a mustache and short beard which caused the face mask not to suction properly, kinda wish they informed us earlier on so he could have shaved or used something to help the mask suction. However still a great time! Thank you SEALIFE!

Fantastic! We got the behind the scenes tour, got to touch sting rays and the gift shop has neat souvenirs. The coolest thing is going through the tunnels in the aquarium with sharks and other sea life swimming above your head!

A good mix of sea life with interesting factoids for the kids. The jellyfish room and shark tanks are of particular note. However, navigating in a stroller or a wheelchair can be a challenge if the aquarium is busy.

$26 dollars to spend about 45 minutes looking
at fish???
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!
Yes, the tube is nice seeing fish all around you but not for $26 EACH!
If it's SeaLife......where are the penguins? Octopus?Walruses? Manatees? Dolphins?
Yes they have stingray and jellyfish and seahorse exhibits before you walk through the tube in small glass tubes you walk by.
Sea turtles? Yes, two very old ones on the bottom of the tube that look like gray statues.
Spend half the money and go to the Minnesota Zoo.
$10 and rename it "Fish Life" and then I will give you 4 stars
