I've followed this company since its early genisis and inception. I can say without reservation, they provide a valuable service to their clients, their employees and the patient community at large.

Obviously, we are all in healthcare to provide the best in patient care. They assist our providers in doing just that as a Team!

As a service to their employees, the medical training regiment they use and the competencies candidates have to demonstrate to be hired are critical to then be placed alongside our providers in the ED. While there, the Scribes continually expand their medical knowlege and many go on to pursue their career as Nurses, PAs and even MDs.

As one of their clients, we have logged thousands of hours of their services providing quality patient care and physician support at multiple hospital emergency departments. This has allowed us to maintain an comfortable patient per hour ratio (1.7 to 2.2 pt/hr) that keeps our providers alert and attentive to patient needs while being supported by the Scribes in completing all the documentation requirements of the EMR patient record.

The SCRIVAS CEO, himself an MD serving Pediatric ERs, has molded this company from its beginning into a model for the industry to follow.

If you want to get your foot in the door in the healthcare industry in South Florida, THIS is your ticket in. They will facilitate the necessary tools you need in order to assist healthcare providers and optimize their clinic's efficiency. During your training, you will meet people from all walks of life with similar goals as you: to become healthcare professionals. The staff are very helpful and understand that many people who work there are students first.

You will be placed in one of the countless sites that are in agreements with Scrivas and will be paired with clinicians who are passionate of their work. As you work alongside them, you will learn: HOW they work, think, and interact with their patients. After having so much exposure to cases within your provider's specialty, you will begin to think like them when reading an incoming patient's chart.

I had the pleasure of working at Baptist Health South Florida's Miami Cancer Institute as a scribe in the Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology departments as well as a primary screener during the COVID-19 pandemic. In my time there, I met many amazing people: Physicians, ARNP's, PA's, RN's, MA's, etc. they will all teach you something.
