After being in Scrivas for 11 months, I can say that I have learned a lot.

If you want to get your foot in the door in the healthcare industry in South Florida, THIS is your ticket in. They will facilitate the necessary tools you need in order to assist healthcare providers and optimize their clinic's efficiency. During your training, you will meet people from all walks of life with similar goals as you: to become healthcare professionals. The staff are very helpful and understand that many people who work there are students first.

You will be placed in one of the countless sites that are in agreements with Scrivas and will be paired with clinicians who are passionate of their work. As you work alongside them, you will learn: HOW they work, think, and interact with their patients. After having so much exposure to cases within your provider's specialty, you will begin to think like them when reading an incoming patient's chart.

I had the pleasure of working at Baptist Health South Florida's Miami Cancer Institute as a scribe in the Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology departments as well as a primary screener during the COVID-19 pandemic. In my time there, I met many amazing people: Physicians, ARNP's, PA's, RN's, MA's, etc. they will all teach you something.
