I received a meter overtime ticket on my last day ...

I received a meter overtime ticket on my last day of work in the city of Scranton at a working meter with time still on it (with photos). Spent my lunch break walking to ABM services to file a claim to have the ticket withdrawn. They have the metermaid HAND-WRITE a reply on a over-photocopied form and is delivered BY MAIL in around five business days. My ticket reply had no reasoning and said my claim was denied. There was also no way to re-contest it nor was there an email address to send photos of proof to. In addition, to pay a ticket online requires an additional "processing fee". The entire city is plagued by this mismanaged company's inability to provide accurate and fair services.

Paid for 2 hours of parking starting at 10am. I came back to my car at 11:15 and found a ticket that was placed at 10:01am stating I was overtime. On the meter itself it said I did not have to print off a copy of the receipt and place it on my dash as the meter maid will be able to scan my license and know if I paid. They either rushed out of the building the second I left to leave a ticket or they just are not professional about their jobs. I have proof from my bank on the date and time of payment but ABM did not answer 3 of my calls.

Parked at the Steamtown mall and did some shopping. The man sitting by the elevator scanned my ticket and I left. When I got to the gate, my ticket wouldn't scan. I pressed the help button bout 3 or 4 times over the span of 3 to 4 minutes as cars backed up behind me. A very ignorant girl came over the speaker and told me to "hurry up there are people behind you waiting to leave". I explained to her that my ticket wasn't working and she responded with "not my problem, hurry the hell up". I reached out to ABM parking and the manager I was directed to was just as bad stating "if you aren't smart enough to work our simple to use parking gates, you should probably be walking everywhere because you clearly aren't smart enough to operate a vehicle". I'm at a total loss for words how horrible this company is.

Would give zero if I could. Parked here for a night, paid at the hotel for parking and the next day my ticket wasn't readable. At least someone answered the call button, but told me I had to back up and park again, and talk to the hotel (now with cars lining up behind me). I agreed to pay, but it still wouldn't take my card or read my ticket, while the attendent insisted I needed to back up, and go talk to the hotel. Going to park anywhere else next time than ever deal with this embarrassment again. Update: The Hilton next door needs to male it more clear that you MUST have them scan your ticket after you park. When I had checked in, they left me with the impression it only needed to be scanned if you planned on going in and out. Still a 1 star experience all around otherwise.

I got a ticket with 15 minutes left on my meter. I took pictures and spoke to staff at abm and she said no need to look at pictures, 1 week later denied by mail. Also the meter maids think they are in Philadelphia parking wars. Youre in scranton. Leave your hood attitude at home. Also someone explain to them they are not police officers, you are meter maids. Thieves.
