Bait and switch. If you schedule here to see a psychiatrist, when you arrive you will find out that you re actually seeing a Physician s Assistant. Nice enough girl, but PAs train for 2,000 hours. A barber trains for 1,500. A MD 21,000. They just take their best guess at your problem and throw darts at a board trying treatments. That s not good medicine. If you value your time (or your sanity), go to an actual doctor.

I had a therapist there that just quit on me. They didn't even bother to call me and say that she wasn't coming in. But Dr
Tiffany Hughes-Eagen is a wonderful psychiatrist which is what warrants the second star. But geez, at least tell me that my therapist won't be showing up!

They never call back. They say you called in late when actually I called in 15 minutes early. A schedule means nothing to them. They say they will call you back but don t. A lovely experience that I give half a star. They also lie when they are overbooked and try to make you think you didn t have an appointment when they call 2 days before to remind you of said appointment. Glad I m moving to another real psychiatrist. Nobody should be mistreated in this manner.

Been meaning to leave a review based on my experiences here. Do not take your child here if you care about them. This place mentally destroyed me, my brains practically mush from the medicines they gave me. They don t listen to you or your child, simply throwing them on whatever medicine they see fit. There are better places to go to for your mental health.

No idea how to treat panic disorder with agoraphobia. Don't waste your time going here. They're quick to prescribe wrong medicine. Look things up before you take them. Nothing has changed in 30 years. Do NOT recommend

I use to love my doctor until recently, when something happened and i had missed my video call, it is the first time I have ever so much as been late for an appointment. So I was given an appointment that I thought was with MY doctor, FACE TO FACE (because at their new location, they said they were allowing patients to come in and see their doctors.) I show up and am brought into a room and shut in, all there is, is a laptop on a desk and set up to Doxyserver. I could have done that from my home 20 minutes away and not had to rush from work. As per this mixup I cannot get a refill. So, I am trying to get in touch in order to avoid a seziure (something that I had fallen into about 5 years ago, the last time I stopped taking my medication.)

Stay away from this horrible organization. My son is in a group home in Allentown. He is a 26 year old autistic adult who has outbursts at times where he mostly breaks things, like a tantrum. On July 23rd, he visited his Psychiatrist at Scranton Counseling. He had a meltdown in the lobby, so they placed him in a quiet room. As a result, that day the psychiatrist placed him on almostaximum doses of Depakote, Lithium, Kolonopin. As a result of not living in this area, Dr. Also stated he can't see him anymore. At this time, he is a Zombie. Lost all interest in watching TV, playing video games, interacting with us on iPhone or iPad. The group home has been trying to find a Psychiatrist, no one is able to see him. He has been to the ER, but because his meds are within "normal" range they refuse to intervene. Scranton Counseling broke all medical ethics by dosing him with high level of meds and at the same time not offering followup nor continuity of care in making sure he can be monitored. As far as I am concerned they criminally negligent and I will be pursuing all avenues to have them pay a steep price for their unethical behavior. Stay away from them.

I made an appointment. When I got there they said they had no appointment scheduled for me and that they don't take my insurance at all. They made me sit in the waiting room for an hour without an answer as to why they lied to me. Eventually a lady let me in to see her. She asked me to open up so I did. She then said "I'm sorry but I cant help you" and made me go home. They also won't refill your meds when you request it so don't even try. Watch out for them prescribing big doses of meds that are very addictive and dangerous.

This facility is overcrowded and understaffed. My therapy & Dr appointments were always cancelled last minute and/or they try to stick me with an unknown physcian assistant which I refuse. What a shame. Dr. Tiffany Hughes was the best psychiatrist.
