I have been a teacher at Abramson Sci Academy for four years. We are intensely dedicated to student success and student outcomes. Abramson holds students to high standards. We also had one of the highest graduation rates in the city last year, and the highest college enrollment rate of any non-selective open-enrollment New Orleans public high school.

As the theatre teacher at ASA, I am proud to work with some of the most passionate young artists around. They have truly amazed me as they began to direct their own shows, tour holiday shows to the elementary schools, host their own film festival, and create truly inspiring slam poetry. My coworkers care and always listen to feedback. The school leader has begun really listening to the alumni, including the several alumni who now work on staff.

I m not pleased with this school. The principal doesn t do a good job with communicating with parents. The assistant principal is not any better. They have a lot of bullying going on. My child will not be returning next year.

Great place to work. The school is always working on improving and creating a good environment for scholars.

Its would be soooo much better if students would be allowed on cell phones during non instructional times.

Do not send your kids here DONT DO IT! They can do so much better somewhere else!!

The school has a true mission to serve all scholars and prepare them for college success. It has the highest college enrollment rate of all the open enrollment schools in New Orleans. Teachers truly go above and beyond to help students.

Check the stats! If you look at college enrollment rates compared to other schools in the area, Abe is in the lead and the only schools that really beat us are selective enrollment. ASA school doesn't deny ANY child the right to a quality education which is why I love working there.

I love where I work. I would send my own children here. ASA works to serve the needs of ALL STUDENTS no matter their abilities or what challenges or obstacles they face.
