Foood is great here .pizza is usualy great .but tonight .def wasn t up to prev .experience.

The food is great. The staff treat you like family. Just a cozy place. Great prices for huge portions.

My husband and I recenter went here for lunch. He had a club sandwich that was all rubbery with bacon,greasy, and rubber lettuce. My chicken must of been old because it was tough to cut with the knife. The only good thing was the iced tea. Will not go back.Terrible!!!!!

Came for breakfast to have their waffles that had high ratings. Waitress asked if I wanted strawberries so I said yes. What came out looked liked a bloody soggy mess of thawed out frozen strawberries turning the waffle into another soggy mess. What a disappointment. I have never had fruit on waffles served this way. Always fresh. Just another bad restaurant getting by on their old reviews from times gone by when they actually might have been good.

Very Reasonable Prices, and very Large Portions!!

Scarpelli's is a great place for breakfast, friendly, knowledge staff. Been there forever so you know it's great. It's a staple in the Torrington area. Try the home made sausage patties, there the best. Not expensive, just what you would expect from a small mom & pop restaurant. Don't expect fancy, just great food at a decent price!!

Fantastic food. We ordered to go and ate pizza and an app. Definitely a place we'll go back to for sure. Nice server, and pretty quick service for how busy it was

Ehh.. Was really looking forward to a good lunch with my daughter and grandaughter, but there was the issue of a hair in the veggie burger . They prepared another very fast, but it kinda threw off the vibe.
Other than that we had excellent service and friendly staff.

It's your local dinner with hot dogs, burgers, wraps, etc. Very good French fries!

I love eating at Scarpelli's. Food is always great, and staff is wonderful. There's just a cozy feel to the restaurant that makes it a really comfortable environment. For my graduation from high school, we went to them for catering and were not disappointed. Sat down with us, figured out what we loved from the restaurant and how we could add it to the menu, how and when the food would get there, and offered us coffee before we left. The food for the event was perfect.

Have always had a nice experience going to Scarpelli's. No matter the day or the time of day or the day itself, service has been excellent. If there was an issue with a meal, it was always remedied quickly and without issue. Portion sizes are generous. Definitely one of my recommended places to stop for a bite to eat!

Food was OK, service was OK. They seem to have their fair share of regulars though....

Scarpelli's has always been one of my favorite restaurants to frequent, it's such a nice friendly atmosphere with great people and great food.

Started going here 60 years ago as a teen. Lots of changes since then, but some things remain the same. Good service, reasonable prices and a varied menu. Soups are always great...

Best pizza in Torrington, Ct. Also best prime rib on the weekends. Really the best meatballs. cheese ravs. and pasta around. Breakfast is BIG, pancakes , omlets, freshly made breskfast sasuage its all the best. I highly recomend Scarps and dining on the patio.

In business since 1936. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dated. Reminds you of an old Friendy's. Seems like it's a local favorite, especially with seniors.
My wife's eggplant parm was very thin with the skin still on it. She had to pick through it. Pasta wasn't drained well. My chicken parm was thin. Salad was ok, as was her barley soup. No bread served with the meal.
I'd like to return for breakfast sometime. I suspect they're much better at that.

Cheeseburger lunch special? Sick looking little burger, no topping and some limp potato things. Time wasted on a bad lunch!!

Gluten Free Buns, Bread and Pizza!! Doctors recently put me on a gluten free diet when I went there today I was worried about what I'd find that I could eat. I was pleasantly surprised they have gluten free buns and bread. They don't have it on the menu but it's available upon request. It is a $0.99 up charge but I was so glad that was an option it opened an array of items for me to be able to eat. Deffinately recommend this place regardless if you're on a gluten free diet or not my boyfriend loves the philly cheese steaks here too!!

goingoe part of the Sunday morning crowd and enjoy eating there every week. Danny Palladino is almost always on site and the crew takes very good care of every customer. Kudos to Scarpellis!

Never go here ever! Horrible service. We walked in and the waiter status down. My family was a little chilly so we asked to move. The waiter refused to move us and we had a huge fight with her and everyone was on our side trying to help us. Then we were finally moved. 5 minutes later, she comes back with a really bad attitude and tone. After that we got right up and left her with a shocked look and her mouth dropped wide open. Just stay away from this restaurant. I wish they shut down.

Worst service ever. Rude and slow. Asked for mustard and relish twice and still never came with it. Finally got it myself.

Ok food they have decent prices and the food was brought out quickly . Staff are friendly I just feel like the food could have been taken up a notch on flavor. Tastes like just diner food there s a lot of rich history about the place could use some updating though.

If you want great food, great home town family like friendly service at reasonable prices than you need to go to Scarpelli's in Torrington, ct. We have been going there for years and will continue going for a long, long time.

Best breakfast around! And the Prime Rib dinner is delicious. The portions are huge for the price. Well worth it!

Waitress was arguing with the customers at the next table. Felt very uncomfortable. Not very busy.

We love Scarpellis. My husband is active duty and every single time we come home to Torrington we stop at Scarpellis for that taste if home.

I get Pizza from here all the time, they're all very friendly and it really has a home-town feeling to it. Oh, and the food is great of course.
