Another great wine tasting experience at Scarborough on Good Friday! All the staff are amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable & lovely to chat with. The wine was, of course, excellent. One of the best places in the Hunter.

We went to a range of wineries in the Hunter and Scarborough was by far the best. The mini-wine bottles, placemat which acted as a map of the tastings and the friendly informative staff were outstanding.

Scarborough was our favourite winery in the Hunter and we bought the most wine here. We loved the setup - with six wines set up in their own glass and some (very delicious) paired cheeses. There is a very family owned feel about it, which is reinforced by the fact the venue used to be the actual home of the owners. We couldn t fault any of the wines we tried and, with the beautiful view, it was hard to beat. Thank you.

Just a wow experience for a wine tasting!! Someone recommended this place and gave it a try. Totally Worth it!!! They have their own vineyards and it is nicely located. $20 per person for wine tasting (and who would have imagined they have a mini cheese platter to compliment the wines). They are a great family run winery and Mali was great in detailing the wines!! Picturesque location for photo lovers!! If you are going in a group, it is good to book online as they can set your table beforehand. It was just two of us and were lucky to find a table. Everyone was so welcoming.

We were lucky enough to enjoy a private tasting in the sunroom. The lady we had was very knowledgeable and obviously loved her job.

The variety of wines with the paired cheeses was well presented and tasted great . If you're a group, I would recommend getting a variety of tasting options, as there is an apparent difference between all the vintages.

Highly recommend

Such a gorgeous location for a wine tasting! The red blend was really lovely. Great view and really intimate even with a booked out time.

But I wish there were a few different red varieties to taste we only tasted 1 red blend with 5 Shiraz's.

Rose was also super light and nice to drink.

About Scarborough Wine Co.

Scarborough Wine Co. is a family-owned and operated boutique winery located in the Hunter Valley, Australia. The winery has been producing high-quality wines for over 30 years, and their passion for winemaking is evident in every bottle they produce.

The Scarborough family has a long history of winemaking, with the first vines planted by Ian Scarborough's father in 1946. Ian himself began making wine in the early 1970s, and his passion for the craft led him to establish Scarborough Wine Co. in 1987.

Today, Scarborough Wine Co. is run by Ian's son Jerome and daughter-in-law Sally, who continue to uphold the family tradition of producing exceptional wines that reflect their unique terroir.

One of the things that sets Scarborough Wine Co. apart from other wineries is their commitment to sustainable farming practices. They use organic fertilizers and pest control methods wherever possible, and they are constantly looking for ways to reduce their environmental impact.

But it's not just about sustainability – it's also about quality. The grapes used to make Scarborough wines are carefully selected from some of the best vineyards in Australia's Hunter Valley region, ensuring that only the finest fruit goes into each bottle.

Scarborough produces a range of wines including Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz and Pinot Noir among others which have won numerous awards both locally as well as internationally over time due to its unique taste profile which reflects its terroir perfectly.

Their flagship wine is "The Obsessive" Chardonnay - a wine that has consistently received high praise from critics around the world since its release more than two decades ago.

In addition to producing exceptional wines, Scarborough also offers visitors an unforgettable experience at their cellar door tasting room where you can sample some of their award-winning vintages while taking in stunning views across rolling hills covered with vineyards

Overall if you're looking for an authentic Australian wine experience then look no further than Scarborough Wine Co., where passion meets quality!
