We went for a trip on the Regal Lady and the amusement just got better and better.
The sea, after we got out of the harbour was somewhat choppy, and it wasn't long before a lot of people started looking a bit green. This didn't stop them drinking though, and the crew were rushing about trying their best to keep up with the service.
As the sea and alcohol took its toll, and it's lucky we were sitting downstairs at the back of the boat well out of the way, people started to projectile vomit from the upper deck onto those below, which in turn set them off as well.
The now wet, vomit smelling staff were still bravely trying to deliver glasses of lager and sick to those convinced they could drink their way through the progress of the bucking ship on it's desperate rush for the shelter of the harbour again, and seemed quite used to the spectacle of mayhem and disorder that ensued with people openly calling on the almighty to save them.

When we left the boat the harbour was like a disaster movie with some people finding it difficult to believe they were still alive. I can't remember how much it cost but it was worth it, you just can't buy entertainment like this.

Please go on a trip because you get a great view of the coast, but sit right at the back, and check your glass before drinking if it's rough, you have been warned !!

Trip is great value for money but the day we went it felt more like a booze cruise as lots of people seemed intent on drinking as much as possible in the hour long trip. Views are amazing and would recommend the evening trip for the sunset over Scarborough. We were treated to the RNLI doing practise drills in the bay.

Fantastic trip up the Scarborough coast on a truly historic craft. Dunkirk 1940. Excellent bar prices friendly crew and some inexpensive souvenirs.
Pay them a visit and help keep this little piece of history alive.
