Leeeuuuk nice primitive hut with sunken jacuzzi :) and great restaurant!

We have stumbled upon this restaurant without knowing what to expect in a beautiful day visiting the surrounding areas, but we have liked everything about this restaurant with the exception that they didn't have an English menu. Anyway the waitresses where nice and explaind us the menu.

Cozy houses, but not necessarily 'luxury'. The houses are also not very clean.

A trip of extra class, nature water and greenery, eat indescribably great, a lot apart and very delicious, large selection, for families with children and companies very recommendable, unique!

Atmospheric. Good food. Nice price quality ratio. Good balance of limited card. Buffets are well cared for. But a bit towards "who comes first who serves first" very good parking. Nice terrace. Playground kids.

We arrived yesterday in a house that was still full of grass. And unmade beds. I knew from the beds that a linen package had to be ordered or bring my own linen. So back to the reception to order this forgotten good. For 15 euros pp. We still had to bring this to the house ourselves and make the beds. Once back at the cottage it turned out that linen was broken. Cold foam mattresses that mainly showed how hard the slatted base was. Child sized beds. And no these were not with us. WC clogged. I'm not going to say anything about the shower. A stay not to write home about, but certainly a review on Google. During the checkout I got the 50 euro deposit back with the question, did you clean the house and left the shower tidy so that the next guests can go in? This seems enough to me! Do I have to say no recommendation? Well with this not recommended!

Price / offer: Very good! The hut comfortable and clean. The lake is within walking distance and is only a few minutes away.

Dogs are welcome here

A restaurant is also there and the food and breakfast very rich for 10.00 per person.

Condition is very friendly and helpful.

A good rest and also recommended for families with children and dogs.

Surprisingly large location, very nice outdoor area, partly overlooking the lake.
Friendly service, they speak English.
Food and dessert extremely tasty.

Have a high tea done with 5 people. For 2 people we had ordered carbohydrate poor snacks. That was no problem they said. There was no explanation about the snacks. There were a few pieces of cheese and sausage and bread on the low-carbohydrate dish, you can hope it was low in carbohydrates. There were also bonbons on it. Certainly not kharm. It was also a bit scanty. A pity about our outing.

What a great place! Nice hiker skins, a super nice restaurant with various terraces. We had lunch there.

Informal atmosphere, good food and excellent service.

We had reserved a High-tea where we finally had to wait 50 minutes upon arrival at the reserved time. A number of things were also missing. It was a bit scanty anyway and lots of ready-made stuff (that is why we did not understand the long wait). We expected more. Young staff who can't do anything about it, but also don't really want to make the experience a little more fun.

Booked a cabin for a week for work in Groningen. Upon arrival it looks nice and cozy, but you find out in the toilet that there is no toilet paper available. The linen packages have to be bought but they are full of holes. And when it was bedtime the drama started. The mattresses and pillows are worthless, after which we went to the owner to ask if something from another masters was possible. I was sent away with the reaction that I only had to put 2 on top of each other (I had already done that)
The next day sick to another place to sleep and so hand in the key, here is the gentleman who is standing with the telephone at his ear and does not really want to make time that they also sleep on the excellent mattresses and that we also do not receive any compensation or money back to get. We were asked if we had cleaned and tidied everything up.

So be warned folks and really look a little further

Good was great, staff was great. However there was barely any (unreserved) seating available outside.

Also a nice location in the late season. The cabin is nice to heat up, cozy and cozy. And beautiful views of the lake within walking distance.

Nice staff, are fairly quick with serving and the food is not to blame, good explanation of how and what if you have been here for the first time and good explanation, further cozy atmosphere and you can sit outside and inside we have today delicious enjoyed celebrating zn.

We had lunch here. Very tasteful dishes and nicely served on the plate. Friendly staff. Distant view of the Paterswolder lake. Quiet area.

This review is about the combination of the restaurant and the Scandinavian village.

The food (both breakfast if you are staying in the village, as well as dinner) is delicious in the restaurant. Also a nice place to have a quick cup of tea (where you can compose your own taste).

An overnight stay in the village itself is less comfortable than hoped. Especially the beds leave something to be desired. The bottom is hard and the mattresses are very thin, making it look like you are lying on a shelf. The bedroom itself is low. Do you suffer from your back quickly, then certainly not recommended. Furthermore, it is like stepping back in time. The interior is actually somewhat outdated.

If I had to rate the restaurant and the village separately, the restaurant would get 5 stars and the village 2 or 3. Hence my overall rating of 4 stars.

Slept in the cabin. Nice and cozy. As a tall person at an angle in the shower! Has something again!

Every time a party. Not cheap but it's worth it. The waffle with cherries and ice cream mmmm. Also in the winter there is a Scandinavian market with huskies

Did a High Beer here and was looked after very well. Good service and friendly waiters. Nice place by the fireplace and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. Also a top location on the lake. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful area with lots of boats and surfers very cozy. You can also swim there, it is not deep there.

The cabins are situated on a grass field which to me is quite boring. Not much trees between the cabins. And the cabins are quite small.

You must have been there once, especially if you love Scandinavia

Discussed a table with a nice view to the outside at the end of April. We come June 7 and then there is a table outside and not inside
After much, unnecessary talking, a table is made inside the door, because "our agreed" place was taken.
Hot water and a tea box were put down and after half an hour I was asked about the snacks .... quiche was lukewarm, also the hot waffle. 1 snack for everyone, qualitatively very moderate, cold and hot and savory and sweet in 1x on the table! No waste bin for the tea bags ...
I'm not coming back! It is NOT recommended!

The waffles are always very tasty here, come by here once or twice a summer. Beautiful location.

All in all high tea enjoyed VERY bad. It was served outside at 30 degrees already half an hour in advance, there were stunt flies everywhere and other flies well sorry my appetite had perished.

Been here for a meeting with lunch. Lunch was well taken care of.
However, the conference room was and remained cold all day. Underfloor heating must be turned on earlier (not half an hour in advance) and the decorative fireplace that was turned on at noon gave hardly any heat. Fortunately, we were able to warm up in the car again at the end of the day.
There were also liter bottles of Sourcy on the conference tables at 5.70 each! That's quite expensive for spring water ...

Beautiful environment -beautiful terrace. But restaurant cannot be called a restaurant. Cold weak coffee if it may be called coffee. Service poor. A lot has to be done here if it can be called a restaurant. It's not like that

The food was great! But if a mini glass of white Port 6.50 has to be paid and 0.75 cents has to be paid for the whipped cream on the Irish Coffee then I wonder where it goes wrong !! Understandable that you want to earn something but to use these ridiculous prizes!

Today I celebrated my mother's birthday with a high tea. Good value for money. Great service. Delicious snacks and very nice staff. Beautiful location. Our compliments. We are very satisfied.

Good staff in the hospitality industry is rare nowadays. Similarly here. With almost no customers still having to wait a long time for order intake and then for order itself. Unfortunately. Normally come here please.

Cozy atmosphere, nice location, lots of tea. Communication about high tea was less (ultimately failed to arrange) and no gluten-free options unfortunately.

Warm atmosphere. Nicely dressed. You can eat delicious here. The vegetarian burger is great. Also a very nice place for a high tea. You can sit by the fire or in the summer on the terrace. Really recommended.

High Tea delivered at home on Mother's Day. Beautifully cared for, complete with fresh rose on the box. Brought home with all kindness. From sweet to savory, everything looked equally tasty. A delicious recommendation if you really want to spoil someone.

Fine, somewhat dated log cabin. When hot again no windows that can be opened, only air grille 2x and the front door. Very friendly staff, Beds great.

Restaurant is super. Cabins are awful, small beds, thin mattresses, small showers, lots of dust and everything is outdated.

Very atmospheric restaurant, the high tea is nice with lots of choice unlimited tea. The service was poor; Due to a mistake from the service, we only got after a long wait and again ask our food with "oh it was there all the time". Some things tasted that way too .. Can happen of course, but no effort was made to make up for this, which I expect from a good restaurant.

Tonight we had the Scandinavian village Christmas dinner at home. We had a delicious meal. The flavors matched well and it worked well to heat up all dishes sous vide. A tip for next year. But then at the location itself.
