Just. No. There were 3 MAJOR problems with our visit. 1) The management at Scallywags needs to grow up. Someone sprayed a fire extinguisher in the laser tag area during the previous session. First a staff member then the MANAGER came into the prep area and demanded to know who did it. Her tone was so accusatory it made everyone feel incredibly uncomfortable. One large group had enough and got up and left. Then she announced she was closing the upstairs section "for safety reasons" but turned to the Staff member and told him "since they went tell me who did it we'll close that section until they do". Since that still didn't work, she decided we would play with the lights on. Really? LASER TAG in a well lit room? Ummm, no. Time to leave. We were 4 of the last eight, so game over. 2). The space was way too big for the 12 people usually playing. Sometimes I spent half my time wondering where everyone went. 3) Racism? While I hate using that word too loosely, it sure did feel like that. There weren't that many people there so we called a couple of friends to join us. When they went to pay the vibe from the Manager was just way off and she told them the unlimited play tickets were "sold out" (our friends are latinos). Weird since there weren't that many people there, but OK. Then when the large group got insulted and left, I realized it was just us and a black family ... they didn't get the cheaper, unlimited price either .... hmmmm.
So much fun if u go at nine on fiestas u get 3 hour pass for 5 dollars off
Had so much fun. It was my first time. Went with a group.
My kids really enjoy it here. Laser tag, mini golf small arcade.
The lazer tag here is overprice and every time your kid plays the orher team is allways shouting impropeyet stuff
Worst experience ever!! Horrible staff service , management irritation at an all time high! Close this place or bring some staff in that actually want to work
I heard about your establishment from The Andy Show. If i am ever in Ohio i will definitely be dropping by! I currently live across the US in Arizona but I have extended family in Michigan so it could happen. Since Andy and Joe of The Andy Show loves you guys so much maybe my town needs one too! PS. the pirate theme is amazing.
Our Christmas Work Party... We all had so much fun.. Great Time...
I love this place a lot because my kids love too come back soon just to play again.
I'm going to give this location 1 star since I have to give it a star. I have been calling this location for 3 days. I have left countless voicemails and even went on the site to fill out the so call "reserve card," still no call back. The only reason I have been persistent was because my son really wanted his birthday party there. I don't understand that in 3 days, I can't get anyone on the phone during operational hours! I decided to call the East location, and out of disbelief Chaz picked up on the second ring! Wow! After reading the reviews, I'm glad I didn't book my party at this location! This location is very unprofessional and need people who actually want to work!
The blacklight mini golf was SO fun! We had 4 adults and 4 kids under 8 years and it was a blast!
It was okay to many teenagers working there. They works was playing around play fight and more. I really think that scallywag tag needs to have an adult working with the teenagers to survive them. To make sure that they are doing their jobs
The Andy show speaks very highly of this place. If I ever get to travel, I'm definitely going to go here.
My kids had a lot of fun playing laser tag and the staff was very friendly
The staff was nice! We had a birthday party here and everything went smoothly the only thing was the games a mother in front of us their kid won tickets but she didn t receive them and they blew her off!
Everyone working here was friendly and fun. I enjoyed myself, and there was plenty of different things to do here
A very nice place to take the family. There is an arcade with a good variety of video games + skill games like skee-ball. The laser tag section is pretty big, but could get crowded quickly depending on how busy it is, but you reserve times to play, so they can control that. There's also a viewing area upstairs so you can watch people playing. You can't see the entire arena, but you'll see your kids or friends you're with go by every once in a while. The laser tag arena has multiple levels and plenty of obstacles to hide behind for ambush or just to catch your breath when all your kids decide to gang up on you and chase you all over the place. :-) The indoor "blacklight" mini-golf course is the highlight for me. I've been to several of these, and this one has the best artwork I've seen anywhere. The statues and mixed-media effects make for an immersive experience, and the golf course is pretty good too. It's challenging enough that the adults weren't bored but even the little kids (we had one with us that just turned 6 years old) were able to make low scores on some holes and not get too frustrated. It was pretty slow the night we were there, and while it was good to not have to rush the kids through the mini-golf, the laser tag would have been more fun with more people. Hopefully they'll still be around once people start getting out more post-pandemic, because this everyone really had a lot of fun here and we look forward to going back.
The Andy Show loves you and so do we! I've never actually been in the vicinity of Ohio, but if I do find myself near Ohio one day, Scallywag Tag will be destination #1! What's not to love? Laser tag mixed with arcade games, mini golf, & great fun.
It was ok for the first visit, the marshal didnt know straight up, he had to have other guest to explain the different modes of play. The BIGGEST complaint is that we wanted to play zombies for the last game and because 2 people didnt want to we had to play team game. Every place else it's a majority rules, here if someone doesn't like the different game then they dont play.
We had a horrible birthday party experience here. No help at all from the staff who seemed more interested in talking to one another and checking their phones than doing anything to help us with the party. What exactly did we pay several hundred dollars for? Awful tasting pizza, greasy tables and chairs, sticky floors, total chaos and disorganization. Never coming back to this place ever again.
they have craft beer, laser tag is fun, video games are pretty cool too, I want to try mini golf next time, my kids love it
Fun times for the kids... BUT they need to clean the tables off instead of letting them set for over an hour.
Was there for my kid s birthday party. The staff were very attentive. The laser tag, mini golf, and arcade games were fun for everyone who attended.
Fun but expensive...but so much fun. A go-to for birthday parties and school events.
We took six kids up to family night. The kids had a great time and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful
First, yes, this place is very fun. But when I went for my nephew's birthday party they had everything scheduled out and we felt very rushed. Which I completely understand the need for this because they do laser tag at certain times and you need to get tickets for those times and whatnot. But. They had us going nonstop since we arrived. We got there, ordered the pizza and sodas, and as soon as we started getting all set up they called us for our game of mini golf. It was a blast, I won't lie. When we got done, the pizza was already waiting, which was awesome. But as soon as we started serving the pizza they were calling us for our game of laser tag. That was a blast too, but the pizza was cold by the time we were done. And this also left us about 25 minutes until the time that they scheduled us to clean up. By the end of the day my sister was so mad because she felt they rushed us through her son's birthday party. I feel like they could have given us more time as well.
Hands Down the BEST Laser Tag arena. Can't wait to try out the new Halloween ESCAPE ROOM!!!
I have contacted this company 20 time today (No I am not exaggerating). No one answered the phone. Very disappointing. I tried to book an event, but could not get through.
Fun for what it is, doesn't attract a lot of daytime business, not sure about evenings. Prizes are a little lame. Mini golf was neat. The staff was really scattered and not very informative or prompt.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and they had good prices on food and beverages.
Played 6 games of laser tag in a row with our group and it never got old!
the place was empty and they told us that they were closing almost two hours early because they didnt have any customers.
One our favorite date night places. We try to go during the week to avoid the teenage crowd. One of the best blacklight mini golf places I've seen!!
It's okay. We're been there 3-4 times since they've opened and it has improved it's interior. Kids have a ball playing laser tag, they never play anything else other than 2-3 arcade games. Yhe juice needs sugar but the pizza is good though.
I ve honestly never even stepped foot in Ohio, but I m 70% sure that if I ever do find myself in Ohio Scallywag Tag will be the first stop I make. What could be better than pirates and laser tag? Thanks goes to The Andy Show for opening my eyes to this gem of a company.
Great Place for a kids birthday party. Been to a few and hosted one. They also serve beer.
Not the cleanest of places, some of the games seemed to be broken down or torn apart.
Good place for laser tag and, video games, amd Indoor put put golf. Food and drinks for kids and adults.
The Lasertag was more advanced than any I'd ever played. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. Fun note, the concession stand does serve beer.
Laser tag, glow golf, arcade. Throw in plenty of good food and beer, and the whole family is guaranteed to have fun.
People are great, atmosphere was friendly, everything was clean. Mini golf decorations and painting were really cool. Lots of teens hanging out and playing, but they didn't act in a way that made it unfriendly for families. My 7yo and his friend even had a couple "big kids" help them out in the laser room!
Clean, GREAT Staff, Fun laser tag. They said they would be close in 3hr. earlier due to snow. I understand that but it was only one inch.
First time being there me, my daughter and the grandson had a blast definitely will go back and also tell my friends and family about Scallywag Tag had a great time
Food prices were much better then I expected. Arcade game selection could use some improvement
fun blacklight golf course, and laser tag area. the arcade is a bit outdated. I've been for a few kids party's and never had a bad time.
Pretty good place to have some laser tag fun. The prices are reasonable and the pirate theme is a little more fun than some of the other laser tag places in fun. The mini golf is so-so though, the course is somewhat bland.
I go here with my students once a year. It s an awesome place and we have so much fun!
Great place to take the kids and let them enjoy themselves and run wild. Lazer tag is the best activity there but the glow-in-the-dark golf courses okay.
I took my grandson for his birthday today as a last minute idea when driving by and we had so much fun! The staff were so helpful and very kind and patient with us. I've decided to bring the rest of the kids next time! I definitely recommend checking them out!
Not great for a 4 yr old but pretty decent for my 8 yr old.
If you like greasy smoke to cover you head to toe. This place is for you. If you want to have to clean up after your booked party. This place is for you. If you want someone to handle your food with no gloves and, after handling cash. This is your place. I've had better times at chuck e cheese on a Saturday afternoon.
The course was tiny. Kids running around the entire time screaming, crying, and breaking things same audio was played over the sound system so many times I could not even count. Overall I would rate my experience here a headache and I tried to rate it 0 stars but you couldn t
Had a good time but get the all day pass...u will spend money quickly
Great birthday party experience! Prices are affordable!
It was very fun and the service was spectacular! The A/C doesn't work though, I guess, so bring a spare shirt to change into because you WILL sweat if it's hot outside. But the service was very good and the games are really fun!
Very unprofessional. Asked to speak to a manager because girl at counter was not willing to help or treat us well and she said she actually WAS the manager. Either she lied or this place has very low standards for their staff.
Good values. Westside local and fun! Only kids zone on the Westside.. Mini golf, laser tag, arcade games and refreshments!
Had a party for my soccer team here. Employees were pleasant and helpful. The kids enjoyed it. Thank you!
