My husband and I met a friend here for dinner while we were in town from out of state. He said he s been coming to this restaurant for the past 13 or so years so we took that as a good sign! We started our meal with garlic bread with mozzarella which was fantastic , they were not shy with the cheese! We also all ordered salads which came already dressed with their house Italian. Between the three of us, we ordered the pan seared salmon, a pepperoni pizza and chicken Parmesan. Everything was served quickly and was fantastic! Some of the best Italian food I ve had outside of my own kitchen.

This is one of my favorite local Italian restaurants in Dallas. Go here alot for lunch, and also pickup food to go when I had a long day of work. The food is always good and never take long to get it out. They restaurant gives you a nice comfort to relax and enjoy your meal. The restaurant is a bit small and parking can be limited at times, but overall it's a good place to eat!

The best dinner salad and thin crust pizza ever. A small Scalini's All The Way is way more than 2 people can eat at a great value. Crab claws are excellent. Great house wine, great service, quaint surroundings. We won't go anywhere else for pizza!

Was on a motorcycle trip with some friends and we stopped in. Sure glad we did!! Great food and great service. The thin crust on the pizza was suburb and the "all the way" pizza I had was outstanding. I learned afterwards that the "All The Way Pizza" is what won them the "Best in Dallas pizza award"!!! This Italian restaurant/pizzeria does not skimp on their ingredients and toppings!!! I'll be back!!

I had the Southwest Linguine, many flavors going on at once. It was flavorful. They truly need to be generous with the garlic bread. One slice of bread, cut up in small pieces. Can't have Italian, without plenty of bread.

The atmosphere here is super cozy and welcoming. Love the Frank Sinatra playing in the background. A lot of people talk about the pizza, but my boyfriend and I keep going back for the spaghetti and meat sauce and fettuccine alfredo. They crab claws are fantastic as well.

Scalini s is fantastic! It s a pretty tiny place that s always crowded... because the food is top-notch but affordable. The large thin-crust pizza was still under $20, I think. The staff is really friendly and efficient. Some of the customers expect to be seated right away on Friday nights and are rude, but the staff handle it well. They do a great job. I always love coming here, and I order carry-out pizza sometimes, too. You guys are amazing!!!

Very cozy place. Gave me the feeling I should have gone there long before now. The artichoke and shrimp appetizer had me soaking the sauce with the garlic bread. The chicken parmesan was perfection in every way. And when the waitress says "hot plate", please believe her. The Limoncello cake was sweet and tart and the perfect end to a deliciously blown diet. Very friendly atmosphere and great decor, and the staff knows their stuff so you get fast service. I will definitely be back. Hmm, what am I doing for lunch tomorrow? I have an idea,,,pizza!!!

A customer can always gauge the measure of the sanitary conditions of a restaurant based on the condition of the bathroom & the facility itself. Therefore, They get 5 stars for having a near immaculate restroom. Great job!

I'm a Lakewood resident and wanted to treat my in-town guests to a local establishment. We arrived at 5:15 and were immediately seated. Our orders were promptly taken and we received our drinks and appetizers as you would normally expect. Around 5:45 the two guests that ordered pizzas received their orders. They politely waited for the rest of the group to receive their orders. After 10 mins we told them to go ahead to prevent their pizzas from getting cold. After another 10 mins, our waiter appeared to tell us he was just waiting on our order and that the delay was caused by large to-go orders. At 6:20ish I asked to speak with the manager and had to wait 5 minutes for her to appear. Once I got her attention and asked her to explain what was going on she began to make excuses and blame the waiter for not explaining the delay appropriately. I politely asked her for an update on our food and she said, "OK". I never saw her again. The food was brought out about another 5-10 minutes later. Our family will not be going back to Scalini's. I understand delays and being busy but the lack of understanding and poor attitude of the manager is very disappointing.

We had to clean our own table even though not many people were there so yes they have a problem with staffing.
They have a more serious problem gearing their priorities toward their delivery orders and leaving the folks who are actually seated without food for close to an hour. We had finished our spaghetti long before the other couple were served their small pizza. Noticed the delivery person come and go several times during this period. Very awkward and unpleasant experience.
That said, Scalinis does have spaghetti and meatballs down. And there is an ok house salad

The food is good but we thought an hour and a half would be enough time especially since we were there at 6. Not true. Service was so slow. Made the rush to eat unfortunate and spoiled the experience.

Just walked out EXTREMELY disappointed!... between the HORRIBLE service and finding a Bug (crawling) in our salad we quickly left.... best part??? The girl waiting on us told us it was because "they have had a bad bug issue and they are flying around all in the kitchen" round of applause you are just as stupid as you sound and look... NOT THE SAME PLACE IT USE TO BE........ I would give 0 stars of i could......

Authentic place, delicious recipes, great pizza & pasta, variety of wines, background music is perfect for the Italian vibe of this place. Tip: ask your server for their recommendation over the menu and most likely you will love it.

Their Smoked Chicken Ravioli was like nothing I've ever tasted in any Italian restaurant.
I was just driving through Dallas to Oklahoma and found this on Google maps. A bit off the interstate but so worth the detour.

This place has truly terrible customer service. I have been in once to eat and was there over an hour and a half and waited an hour for my food. Then when I paid they totally messed up my check and over charged my card. I thought I would give them another chance by doing a delivery order and was told I am over 3 miles from them when I am only 2.7 miles. I tried to tell the guy and his response was "do you really want to argue with me?" Then hung up. Never go to this place.

Small portions for the price, and minimum flavor. At least it tasted fresh. Maybe I ordered a weak menu item, but my first impression of this place was nothing special. Good customer service/staff for sure though.

The best thin crust pizza I've ever had! Super vinegary house salad with olives and a sweet pepper. Love their meatballs and their wine by the half or full carafe is a sweet deal. It can get really busy later in the week during peak dinner hours but totally worth it.
