1st experience. Very slow and poor service. Went for dinner on a slow night and waited 2 1/2 hours to get spaghetti and meatballs.
2nd experience. Tried to order a delivery pizza and was told it would take again 1:45.
3rd experience. Again tried to order a pizza and although I live 2.7 miles from location I was told they would not deliver because I was not in 3 mile delivery radius and hung up on.
Do not do business with this joke of restaurant.

Saturday night to remember! The scampied artichoke hearts with shrimp appetizer was amazing!! The Scalini combo plate was delicious and the limoncello cake was to die for! Trying the pizza next go round!

If I could give a zero, I would. Ordered lasagna and chicken alfredo for take out. Lasagna tasted like it had been sitting around since yesterday then reheated to the point the pasta was hard. The same thing with the chicken alfredo. The entire experience was horrible. I would not recommend to anyone! You're better off going to pizza hut and have their pasta.

We were in the area and needed food but we had no clue what we wanted. We saw this place and walked in to check out the menu. The place felt cozy and comfortable, and brought to mind the feeling of the Italian family dinners I was fortunate enough to be a part of (with my then boyfriend) in the 90s in Georgia.
The guy who greeted us was very charismatic and welcoming; he gave us a menu and told us we would absolutely find something on it that we wanted to eat. He was right--a quick glance at the menu revealed 3 things that sounded amazing so we stayed for dinner.

The charismatic guy who greeted us was our server, and he was wonderful. Unfortunately, I truly suck at remembering names, so I can't give him a shout-out and thank him for solving that age old dilemma that happens whenever a girl and a guy are trying to decide where to go eat LOL A closer inspection of the menu left me with so many options to choose from that I couldn't decide what to order, so I went with the first thing that had caught my attention in that first quick glance: spinach ravioli in a pesto sauce. There was bread and salad while we waited on our meal. The spinach ravioli was really good, but it was more than I could eat in one sitting (especially after salad and a slice of toasted bread), but I did get a go-box and had a delicious lunch the next day.
Overall, highly recommend Scalini's for great food in a wonderful atmosphere.

First time here. Sat at the bar. Had wonderful service. Food was fantastic and restaurant was clean and efficient. Staff was friendly and courteous! Great experience can't wait to come back with the family!

Excellent for pizza. Quaint venue. Nice people.

Sadly the lasagna I ordered was warm at best and had the consistency of cat food. My buddy ordered the combo plate. Wasn't even warm delivered to the table.

Great pizza joint. Disappointed in the execution of the cooks.

Giving it 2 stars on this visit is generous. I always expect to wait, but not when the place was near empty, another table walked out because the wait to even get menus was ridiculous. Ordered, finally, Cesar salad was not a Cesar salad. Entees, Salmon and Chicken Marsala, not great, even made one of us queasy.

Lastly smoke filled the place be cause of something burnt in the kitchen. I already had a bad breathing day due to Dallas pollution and pollen and this threw me over the top tonight.

Gone here in the past, but tonight was our LAST visit. Sorry to write this review.

Great pizza. The rolls are delicious. Pasta is great.
Wedding soup is delicious. We only live like 2 min away so take out is great. The ingredients are great, never taste frozen, you know like other palaces.
I love how they put tape on the soup top to insure it doesn't spill. It's the small things that make this place great.

We went here for a simple pasta dinner before the Dallas marathon. The chicken ravioli was delicious! The only reason this doesn't have 5 stars is because it was very busy so the wait for food was a little long. The staff was amazing and the food was great so if you aren't in a rush I would highly recommend this place for a meal. It's not expensive (about 10-14$ /meal) and well worth the price.

Smells like disinfectant. "Garlic bread" looked like cold stale day old hot dog buns. Spaghetti incredible greasy. Service sad. Too bad. Irs bern a cute neighborhood
joint for over 25 years.

Great Italian fixture in Lakewood. You can expect to get something with variety that will leave you happy and full. The wine list is great too and usually makes more sense to get a bottle if you're dining with others.

Excellent thin crust pizza. The crust in fact is so cracker thin that I recommend you eat it in-house. As a friend of mine pointed out and I quote, "it doesn't travel well." Toppings are first-rate and the 18-inch pizza satisfied three hungry people. I'll definitely be returning.

I've been going to Scalini's for almost 20 years. I have never been disappointed by anything on their menu and the staff is attentive and welcoming. I even bought trays of their spicy chicken scalopini for family parties. I especially love the cozy atmosphere. This will forever be my favorite Italian restaurant in Dallas.

This place...great food, great area, great decor. I recommend it
From the rat pack pics on the wall to the good music selection...good stuff. It has busy times and offtimes one can pick from to eat. Try the crab claws and the linguine pesto add shrimp. Very very nice! I only give it a four instead of five...due to being out of items on occasion during a busy time. For a date, for a leisurely meal, for a business meeting...I recommend it.

God that was horrible pizza. So, been in the Dallas area for a couple of months and that was my last try at a highly rated pizza place. Why can't somebody make real pizza. Coming from NJ, I guess my only choice is to open a real pizza shop.
