. I'm not too happy with the service it looks like the whole building needs to be tore down I think it was sometime last year they received a citation from the health department that they weren't measuring up to what was standing and they have to close up like for a week to do special clean I'm very familiar with this location the landlord refuses to do that adequate repairs necessary to keep the building in shape that's right in the same line a little bit further up there was a McDonald's and I can be wrong I believe it was the same landlord that receive someone's citation for that McDonald's and subsequently they had to close down and took them 2 years to make it everything brand new in that McDonald's

Has a school trip booked for New York and this was our 1st night meal. Everything was pre-booked so they knew we were coming. Shockingly overpriced and dirty place with rude staff. One of our School staff had to have stern words with the manager about a girl who needed a gluten free meal being offered only a slice of pizza! Was only offered a piece of chicken after much heated discussion. The locked toilets were something else; I think a shelter for homeless people would be cleaner, AVOID at all costs!

Very disappointed with the branch in Manhattan 34th street the food was not as expected. Very, very disappointed I bought 2 combos and only received one drink. When I asked why other branches gave 2 drinks with the combos..the man replied "this is Manhattan". Only one drink. I'll never return..the worst SBARRO!

The pizza is very good and is certainly one of the most economical ones near Madison Square. Negatives: the cash guy is a baptized horse and getting the key to use the bathroom is a difficulty!

workers were distracted, had to say my order three times before the worker stopped talking to her co-worker and took my order. Would understand but she asked for my order and then ignored me, I only said my order after she asked for it. Pizza was good, mainly upset about customer service.

Busy Pizza. Typical US pizza's but Italians would be shivering down their spines.
But hey, it is a pizza New York style, thick crust, rich fillings, great taste...... And it is not bad at all!
Fast service and despite the high occupation, they manage to keep it clean.

In NYC since 1956, Sbarro pizza might just be more of a tourist trap pizza than what it is worth. At $9.12 for two slices without a drink this pizza location ranks as one of the costliest slices ($4.19 per slice) in NYC. Maybe you pay for the individual pizza boxes given per slice which is probably the best feature of the slice. The cheese slice I had was ok. Nothing great with a good sauce although it did have a decent flavor. The slice itself was more on the doughy side where it was not crispy on the bottom. Again this is another pizza location that the slice is very comparable to the slice a 2 Bros pizza (.99 pizza) but at 4X the cost. on a side note, this location was featured in an episode of the Office where Michael Scott refers to Sbarro as his favorite New York pizza joint and says I m gonna get me a New York slice .

The only nice thing about this place is its convenient location, next to a subway station and walking distance to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.

The food lacks freshness, the dining area is filthy, dated, and has a moldy smell, and the staff all look disgruntled and disinterested. Such a waste of valuable real estate, really. I wish they'd invest in updating the place and improving customer service.

I visit this place a lot since I work close by. I have to say their customer service is always great and they keep the place clean consistently. Rates are affordable and they serve generous portions.

Typical pizza Joint located in the shadow of Madison Square Garden as such the prices are overly inflated. They sell specialty slices stuffed slices, calzones, pepperoni rolls, pasta, etc. The staff is not friendly at all it can also get a very busy especially during peak hours. If you absolutely need a slice have at it.

Average pizza but better for a big chain. The broccoli pizza was decent. I enjoyed the square pizza. The service was very fast, though the pizza was not quite brick oven. Love that there are many locations around, should offer rewards.

This over priced trash.. the food always tasted stale and not fresh.. the staff is rude and they need better customer experience training.. i will never return again.. the people behind the counter always look dirty and unsanitary.. if you don t pay attention to what you re paying they will over charge you.. just watch your tab before you pay.. I would rather go pay premium at a place where I feel welcomed and the staff are friendly and looks clean, not greasy and dirty.

It is a fast food restaurant dedicated to Pizza, S...

It is a fast food restaurant dedicated to Pizza, Stromboli, Pasta dishes and Italian-North American salads. The chain founded in 1940 by the Sbarro Family, originally from Naples, Italy, and from there at the foot of Vesuvius, the secret recipe for Pizza, Pasta and Stromboli arrived in the US.
Here you arrive at the main showcase, you order according to what you like, put it on a tray, and advance in the bar, cafeteria style, order your salad, there are from the house and Cesar, you choose a drink, and you pay, it is regularly A cashier with an angry face and "rude" attitude, ignore her and enjoy your selection brought from San Gennarino. They accept you card and Cash,
The place is somewhat narrow, and at busy times there is no table or where to sit on the floor at street level, but going down some stairs, there is a room -which by the way has a door leading to the Metro- with several tables and cabinets. The cleanliness and neatness of the food is very good, but just one observation, the tables and chairs sometimes need a "stroke", and the floors and entrances a little sweep. I have come to meet people asking for "some change", it doesn't bother me, but it is surprising that you see this in this great country, and more so in this wonderful City. Mangare Bene.

Here is really auwful. My friend and I yelled several times"excuse me" to order. but the staff behind showcase of pizza pretended to hear nothing. We gave up and went to counter to order. A staff behind counter pretended not to understand my order. I know I'm not native but almost american can understand. even he didn't ask me ' take away or here'. After food is ready, I told him that I'm gonna take it away. and then! He rolled his eyes saying that 'oh my god~'. I said "why are you upset to me? you didn't ask me" Only then he smiled and asked me. "Where are you from?" // Hey I want to tell you thats none of your busines and plz don'be rude. shame on you.
