Great food, good atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. One of our favorite places.

Excellent Thai food; our family's reliable favorite.
Our favorite Thai restaurant and has been for cover 20 years. The food is delicious. Love the staff. This family owned restaurant ranks high on our list of restaurants.
Amazing delicious food and amazing sweet genuinely caring staff!
I often wonder how many metric tons of Northern Noodles I've consumed in the past 3 decades.
Very good food and decent pricing. Portions are a good size for sharing.
The restaurant is nice, and has round tables which we always like.
Our favorite Thai restaurant. We've been coming here for over 30 years and never had a bad experience.
They don't slap Thai dishes together here. Everything has been fresh with superior flavor and spice. We keep going back to treat ourselves to nice dinners here despite the drive and despite alternative restaurant choices. Not crowded. Nice service.
Sawatdy has wonderful Thai cuisine, I have been a patron for over twenty years. I have never been disappointed! The waitstaff is knowledgeable about each dish and it is always a very enjoyable experience when I get to have dinner at Sawatdy.
maybe last night was an off night? (friday). walked in to be ignored by high school girl running the hostess station. we had to flag her down to be seated. she grabbed 2 menus & showed us a table without saying a word. 10 minutes later our waiter, also looked like another high schooler, brought us water and said he'd be right back after we flagged him down. he'd literally walked by our table 4 times without stopping. it was then another 15 minutes+ before our order was taken. another 20 before an older woman brought us our appetizer and unceromoniously dropped it at the table. our actual waiter was nowhere to be seen. the older woman bought our entrees 20 minutes later, and we informed her we still hadn't received the wine we ordered. we'd now been there over an hour. no one ever came by to.check with us about our food. or refill our waters. or ask if we'd like more wine. we had to again flag down our young waiter to ask for coffee and for the check. we then had to ask him to bring cream, sugar, and spoons to stir.
the food was okay. i've had better. my fellow islanders that say how fabulous this place is do so i think simply because we don't have plethora of choices on the island. the service was TERRIBLE. seriously, if it was me paying the bill i would not have tipped, and i have never done that in my life. it wasn't that busy. there were only 4 other tables and one table sitting around waiting for a take out order. one table the man had to get up and go the hostess station to ask that the waiter to go to their table to order.
i probably won't go back, and if i did and there didn't look to be actual adults working, i wouldn't stay.
Excellent! Food was very tasty and the portion sizes were generous, particularly for takeout. No skimping on the meat either. There was ample chicken in my dish - many other places cannot say the same. Made for a good dinner and TWO lunches afterwards. Thanks, Sawadty!
Fantastic Thai food. Favorites are pad thai with prawns and garlic pork. Plus crispy parcels!
Always a nice place to go, it is good for both event with family, hanging out with friends, or for couples.
Sawatdy is uniformly excellent. In particular we had the Tom Ka Gai soup (best anywhere), the trout and the "eggplant lovers". No better in the northwest. The service is excellent, welcoming to the diners and prompt.
Consistently tasty Thai food. They do a lot of take-out business, so if you're ordering dinner, be sure to call in your order early or make dinner reservations if dining-in.
My 'usual' order is side of spring rolls, ultimate fried rice, green curry beef and beef drunken noodles.
Really good food. Okay (very friendly) service, the best part is the food quality- especially the curries, which are very flavorful. And spicy means Thai spicy; I try and warn people that even a 3 is fairly damn spicy. Amazing in general, way better than you'd expect given the location and price.
Great hole in the wall place. Authentic and delicious. Mm.
Love this place for take out or eat in. If you have a celebration they have a special almost separate traditional table that is fantastic.
Always fresh and delicious, try the Tom Kha Gai soup and the black rice dessert.
Sawatdy sets the bar for all other Thai restaurants.
Pad Thai was outstanding good portion for family style eating and great taste. Also the level 3 was perfect spice level, not too hot and not too bland. Ginger Chicken was also expertly prepared with good spice and great portion. Overall the meal was excellent and the service was friendly.
It has been a long time since I visited this establishment, they never disappoint!
Great authentic Thai food. A bit pricy and demerits for charging for white rice. It should come with the dishes!
BEST Thai on ALL Bainbridge
Don't let the location , connected to a gas station, fool you! This spot is amazing. The food is superb and we've tried all the curries , pad Thai , and other specialty dishes without being disappointed ever!
They are often packed on the weekend so you might have to wait for a table, but it's worth the trip.
The only negative is that sometimes the servers are a bit arrogant, but luckily there are only only 2 we've encountered with that trait.
The food is amazing!! The best Thai food we've had! The teriyaki BBQ chicken and garlic chicken were so good. The outside of the building is not very impressive but don't let it fool you. Once you step inside the decor is very classy. They even have a extra fancy table for events. I highly recommend you eat here and bring all your friends and family!
I'm spoiled living in Southern California but it was nice to find this place and their fresh food.
Great food and huge portions! You could probably split one of the dinner items between two people.
Amazing food and staff! Best yellow curry I have ever had.
2 words. Keow grahb. Also, my God. So good. Crab cream cheese wontons. Should be classified as a drug. My cleaning crews and I go here after long days on the island. Always happy. Only disappointed when they are closed mid day.
I've eaten here at least 50 times in the last 15 years and love it. Great food, great takeout, service is usually friendly though sometimes slow.
Top two personal favorite Thai restaurants, and one of my favorite places to eat in general. I don't even know where to start, try everything.
Best and most convenient takeout Thai food on Bainbridge Island.
Terrible phad thai, but the best cream cheese crab apps!
One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever experienced...a favorite of all on Bainbridge
Hands down the BEST Red Curry in Kitsap County! I like it with a 4 out of 5 star heat level. The curry is thick and savory unlike most of the watery curry that I have found. The Tom Kha is amazing as well. I eat here every chance I get! I recommend Sawatdy Thai to ANYONE looking for excellent Thai Food at very reasonable prices. This is one of Bainbridge Island's hidden secrets.
Ok, The other thai place in Lynnwood is better but only slightly
Had a great time with family, service was great, nice, friendly staff, great food of course.
Nice place with good Thai cousine and good atmosphere. Great variety.
So good!! Chicken was tender and tasty! Vegetables were crisp-tender. Sauce was flavorful and not too thick.
Establishment was clean and the staff was welcoming. Highly recommend!!
Some of the best Thai food I have had with very large portions and rich flavors. The owner is a very kind woman who is friendly with regulars. Low key decor but the food is exceptional.
Great thai. Unexpected place. Locals favorite. Slow take out though.
Jewel. Fresh and bright flavors, when inside you'd never guess your proximity to the gas pumps. Recommend.
This was bad. Not only did it take 56 minutes to receive our food after being told it would take 30, but they did not give us an itemized check and overcharged for food that is mediocre at best.
Always a MUST when we come back for a visit. Food, service, and prices WONDERFUL!
This is fake Thai food. Waiter couldn't even pronounce the food on the menu. The staff was super nice but you can tell they were short handed.
Wasn't a fan of the pad Thai, but other than that, the food was great, service was great! Atmosphere was perfect, and it wasn't very busy at all.
Went here for date night and the food was so good. We had 2 types of curry and then finished the leftovers the very next day. Will be back over and over again!
Update: went back for takeout. Food was still fantastic, service was nice and prompt, and we will order again many times in the future, I'm sure.
Not a place I would bring kids but they have a great curry and fantastic Thai food. Sawatdy does take out and that s often what I do.
Great service with a smile. Absolutely delicious menu. Tried several dishes so far and all were excellent. 36A is barbecue chicken with sesame seed and teriyaki sauce. So much food... So little time.
I only did takeout, but finn malloy is the best person there, he was on point and nice.
My favorite Thai restaurant in the PNW. It takes some work to get there as it is off the highway and main road but it is worth it. Family owned. Try the Northern Noodles.
Very accommodating of my wife's Celiac and gluten sensitivity. The trout dish was our favorite. Exploding with complex flavors.
5 star spicy, garlic chicken with my ricey, don't tell my wifey, bust a quick righty, pawdee at Sawatdy, keep it nice and naughty, lunch and dinner to go, power for my body.
We love to go there , layers of flavour, I hesitate to give 4 stars as all chicken dishes had chewy chicken .
Great quality flavorful Thai food with lots of veggies. Ask for some nam pla prik (a condiment of chilies in fish sauce with garlic), and they will make you a fresh batch!
Fresh, delicious Thai. The chicken satay is incredible.
Bainbridge Island has three Thai restaurants and this one is by far the best. Very fresh ingredients, take-out orders are done super quick (20 minutes tops) and great atmosphere. It is hidden away in the Fletcher Bay neighborhood on the island, so a little hard to find for non locals but worth the hunt. Give them a try and you will be very pleased.
We've been coming here nearly 20 years, and the food has always been AMAZING! Quyne is amazing chef, and remembers everything! Some of the best food you'll find anywhere!
I asked a local when walking in from the parking lot and they said this was the best thai food on bainbridge. I proceeded to enjoy a meal and wasn't disappointed at all! Great thai food.
The service and food is phenomenal and not real expensive
Great flavors. Large portions. Good service. Love the spicy squid salad.
Great service. Was considerate of the peanut allergies and they explained how their phad thai sauce was made and they offered pad se ew with phad thai noodles was very yummy too.
One of the best Thai food restaurants I have been to. Great atmosphere. One restraunt I would most certainly eat at again.
